How did it go overall very poorly and reason why I say this is because: foremen- was very rude and didn't explain what really what was going to happen but when they did outside fix of the walls the foremen just put is own thought and doing and didn't ask me what I wanted. Basically he went for MDS system trench and seal but on are contract it said put tile outside but foremen didn't put tile in like I told him to. The QOS manager Jerry pretty much argued with me over how this system post to be put in because I told him that I want the crew go all the way down to the footer and fix the cracks and put in tile. The whole crew smoked which I didn't like and it didn't show professional team. When the crew did the outside wall all they did was go about hip high then put there roof pitch stuff then plastic on it then throw maybe an bucket full of stone then start back filling the dirt. Then inside of the basement they put in there tile then crushed rock on top of it then they put there crappy so called cement (EVER CRETE) from what there bag states uses for "Filling Cracks,Stuccoing Walls,Grouting,Jointing for Flagstone, Resurfacing Old Cement. But really all it is Hydraulic Cement and NOT REAL CEMENT. There cement is already cracking after 2-3 weeks after the job done. They also forgot to put on the top cap on there plastic liner down in the basement walls. Bottle line is this company is total freaking JOKE AND CON-ARTIST WHO TAKES YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE AFTER DOING AND CRAPPY JOB. IF ANYBODY READS THIS DON'T GO WITH THIS COMPANY YOU WILL HAVE BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THERE PRODUCT AFTER ITS DONE!!!!! Update: How did it go on Oct 5 of 2013. First Jerry "Qos Manager" came to my door and I showed him the letter that there CS rep LISA sent to ohio attorney office saying they would go down to the footer and lay down tile and Jerry started toargue with me again after the first time he was down here about this whole issue and he said that they will not " go down to the footer and put tile in" like it was stated they would do to ohio attorney office. Jerry said that we are going off what paper work that me and Tim the production manager agreed on and he tried to give me this BS saying that I just got this paper work last night.... They had this letter from ohio attorney office for at lease 2 months I asked Jerry do you upper management talk to each other and he just blew me off about that. So I asked if you " Jerry call Tim the production manager so I can talk to him" Jerry Qos Manager gave me an other BS talk saying that Tim dont work on the weekends. I asked again for him to call him so I speak to him and Jerry simply refused to do so. So they started the process of re-digging the outside and they only went to 18inches not all the way to the footer then once again they snapped my fiber line and I told the whole crew to stop digging and get off my property and Jerry simply told his crew to keep working. It got so bad I had to call my local PD to come to my house and I told the local officer what they did and I told the local officer they would not stop working after I asked them to stop. So local officer said to Jerry technically its the homeowners property he can tell you what to do and I was telling local officer I would like them off of my property but Jerry came back and said we came down here to get this job done then local PD officer asked me what I wanted to do and I said I guess they can finish there job. So I have contacted the ohio attorney office office again and currently waiting on what ohio attorney office and everdry is going to do about what they said they was going to do from that paper they sent to ohio attorney office. If noting is going to be done I will be taking this issue to court. Simply Everydry dont back up what they say in complaint paper from ohio attorney office.
Description of Work: Waterproofed my basement and installed sump pump and fix cracks outside wall. Update: They are supposed to come back and fix the issue they didnt do the first time.

See my comments above. I have maintained the warranty on my contract and have never had a problem in getting it honored when I needed pumps replaced or any other request for their services.

The job was completed just last week and their work hasn't had the opportunity to do anything just yet. So at this time I cannot comment on the results themselves, but only on the workmanship, process, and people I've dealt with. After putting down a $2000 deposit, they scheduled a date to begin the work. I was called the day before to tell me the date slipped one day. They arrived on the new day scheduled, explained exactly what they would do and estimated how long it would take. There was just one worker the first day, but an entire team for the next 4 days till the job was completed. I inspected and photographed their work at the conclusion of each day. All the Everdry people that came onsite told me the same things, there was no bait and switch, they were very professional and seemed knowledgeable. They completed all work by noon just one day after the estimated completion date. They showed me everything they had done, explained what they did, how things work and gave me plenty of opportunities to ask questions. During the interior jackhammer phase they created some dust which I was warned about. The dust was not excessive. They left the site in good shape at the conclusion of each day's work. As a mechanical engineer who has done some structural work, my impression is that the work was done to high standards, they did not cut corners to save time or materials. They were focused on getting the job done right the first time. I fully expect the water drainage system to work as intended. I also expect the structural reinforcement (they added 5 I-beams and bonded three fabric, maybe kevlar, braces to my basement walls). to prevent any further degradation of my basement walls. I'll have to go another year or two to make a good judgment on the functionality of their work, but the process, people, and my perception of their workmanship is positively stellar. I don't know how they could have done a better job. I had some minor damage including a broken florescent light bulb a and hole in a wall. They told me about this and I asked them to spend their time on the basement itself and not worry about this cosmetic damage, I can repair that myself. I was thrilled that they concentrated so many resources to my job and got it overwith quickly. They charged me exactly what we agreed to, no hidden fees and no onging sales of extras. Since I got the full package of repairs, I got a lifetime (lifetime of my house) guarantee on my foundation itself, not just on their work or materials. The guarantee means all future work needed will be done at their expense. The guarantee can be transferred to future owners as long I keep up the $60/year extended warrantee. At this time, I am very happy with the work performed and believe this is a reputable company. I would recommend them to all who ask me.
Description of Work: Everdry has several different levels of basement/waterproofing services they provide and you can choose, to some extent, exactly what you want to have done. I opted for the full package which included digging up the entire exterior foundation to lay drainage pipe, breaking up the concrete on the entire perimeter of my basement interior to lay drainage pipe, installing main and backup sump pumps, repairs of all cracks, reinforcement of a bowing/cracked wall. It also included a EZ Breathe system and dehumidifier to manage humidity. My thought in going for the full service is that this job is a huge tear-up that I want to have done once and for all.

"Hats off" to the hard working, Everdry crew! Reggie the foreman, was very professional and knowledgable. He took the time and effort to educate me in all facets of the install. The crew took direction well from their foreman. All members were careful and courteous. I am confident the project was handled by the "leaders in the field" and my basement will now be dry. I definitely would recommend Everdry to anybody who has basement issues and desires permanent solutions.

From the first phone call to the final install of the work. I am very impressed with their service.
Description of Work: Everdry came out and gave me a free inspection of my basement. The person they sent out was very nice, he explained in detail what was going on with my basement. They even gave me tips on some things I could try myself. Their was no high pressure, just information that I found useful. They gave me some tips on my downspouts and the grading of the yard. I ended up having them install a home EZ BREATHE ventilation system. I could tell a big difference in the air quality the first day it was installed. I didn't need any waterproofing done at this time. If I do in the future, I would not hesitate calling them.

The crew arrived promptly on time, and were the hardest working bunch of guys we've ever seen. They left the area as they had found it when they originally arrived to do the job, always cleaning & picking up after themselves. Everyone on the crew was polite, friendly & very willing to explain the process as it was being completed. They told us that the job of digging up the concrete floor in the basement would create a lot of dust, and they did everything they could to keep it down to a minimum so that we could continue to stay upstairs while they were working. They told us what to do to also prevent any damage to items we might have stored in the area, and they provide plastic coverage for everything that was left. We were very pleased with the entire job...from start to finish. However, there are a few things that I think might be told to the prospective customers before they undertake this type of repair. In order for the new drainage pipe to be laid under the basement floor, the concrete must be removed using a jackhammer. If the customer is elderly, has an elderly person living with them, a very small child/baby, or even a pet.....they should be assured that this creates a very loud, consistent noise for the time that they need to do the job. Our small dog, who has an issue with loud noises, became very aggitated & we had a hard time calming him down. This 'noise' might be upsetting to some humans as well. The other issue would be the resulting dust. Even though everything was covered with plastic and it was secured as tight as possible, concrete dust permeates through it all! I spent an entire week dusting, washing & vacuuming all of the items we had stored in the basement, as well as the surrounding walls & floor. The crew tried extremely hard to clean as they went along, but this was something even they have no control over.
Description of Work: Drainage pipe put in around perimeter of house below the freeze line, except in the front side where they had to dig deeper to correct the problem. Drainage tile installed under basement floor, sump pump installed along with air filtration system.

I cold called everdry for an inspection and had their inspector/salesman out the next day. As mentioned above the inspection from my point of view was more of a "scare and sell" I was provided an estimate for the Everdry solution to my wet crawlspace. Three days later I started getting phone calls from a sales department. A LOT of phone calls to the un-exaggerated tune of between 8 and 12 per day. These calls went on daily (except Sundays) for a month.
Description of Work: I had Everdry out to my home to provide an estimate to repair a leaking crawl space. I have moved on to have my work done by another contractor. Everydry seemed to know how to get the job done, but their sales strategy seemed to me as more of a "scare and sell." The salesmen came out and in my opinion exaggerated a few problems in my basement. My home has a basement and a crawl. He went on a radon tangent, which included criticism of my radon mitigation system as ineffective and incomplete based on visual inspection (no radon readings). Furthermore he proceeded to recommend more work to mitigate radon exposure in my home. However, the radon work would not be performed by Everdry -- just something I should strongly consider. I appreciate his concern for my safety, but I had him over to look at water leaks. Something like "Check your radon because this looks like a weak system" would have sufficed. Let me elaborate on my grade for Quality. The job as explained to me seemed to be overkill for my problem. The result would be 2 sump pumps for a 400 sq ft basement, and waterproof membrane on walls that are not leaking. Water was coming under the wall and in. There is a point along the line where too much quality at too much cost has a negative effect. I believe Everdry crossed that line. Yes, the water problem would be solved, but now I would have 2 sump pumps to look after -- one of them right beneath my family room. Everdry is likely more appropriate for foundation issues that are a larger problem then what I had in a crawl space. I had to move on to another solution. Everdry tried to sell an overpriced system to overkill my problem. If in the future I find myself in the undesireable predicament of a larger foundation problem, I may have Everdry come take a look .

Overall the job was done to my satisfaction, the work crew did an awesome job. They were very professional and addressed all concerns I had, the only issue I had was with what the sales rep told me about the how minimal of a clean up i would have as far as dust from breaking up the concrete in the basement. I was told they had a device that would pull in the dust being created....a vacuum so to speak. About half way through the first day I noticed dust coming up from the basement, I spoke with the guy working the jackhammer busting up the concrete and asked him about the dust. I was told nothing could be done about this and when I asked about the device the sales rep told me about he said they had no such device and was not surprised I was told that. I asked him to stop and I closed off the basement stairwell and he helped cover all in the basement, the dust was everywhere by the end of the job. If the sales rep had been honest about the mess I could have been better prepared. Be aware of a false promise... get it in writing

They did a lot of work. They were here on time and when they said they would be. If they were going to be 10 minutes late they would call. We did not have any issues with them. They were thorough and very nice people to work with. The company would call and see how the staff was doing. There was always a person there to answer the phone and that is what we liked about them. They were very dependable. The pricing was a little bit high but you get what you pay for. Other companies were cheaper.

I cannot say I am entirely satisfied with their service for several reasons. First of all the way they negotiated the contract with me was suspicious. I met with the sales person first who gave me an estimate and he asked to make a deal once they were done with the basement and everything. I have a few other businesses to come and give me estimates for who was going to give me the best field. The sales man from Everdry just told me that we have the others take it because we were here and do not want to get into a bidding war with somebody else. That’s what he said. A few days later I get a call from someone in their sales person and that some other customer had cancelled their contract from Everdry and had the opportunity to get a discount because the labor team did not have any work that week because for somebody who cancelled.
Description of Work: I used Everdry Waterproofing to put a drainage title on the inside of my basement and dug 3 feet down and put a drainage title on the outside of the drainage wall. Then they filled it in. The put some water proofing tar on the 3 feet spacing on the wall.

The salesman was very polite and organized. He went into our crawl space. Took pics of the water problems and reported such to us. No pressure to go with them. Knew we were getting a second opinion. The crew that came was punctual, polite and neat. Cleaned up all messes made. They talked with me. Told me what they were doing each step of the way. And finished their worK in time. The crew was pretty young that did the digging but they were very polite and fun to talk with. I wouldn't hesitate to refer them to anyone.
Description of Work: They dug a trench around the interior and exterior of our foundation. Installed drainage tile in both trenches. Applied sealer around the outside. Installed two sump pumps. Covered the entire crawl space with vinyl sheeting. Replaced the soil around the house.

13 years ago I had my basement waterproofed by Everdry, I have been dry since day one. Recently I had my sump pump changed for the very first time. I called in the early am for service and they had a technition out within one hour. I could not believe the responsiveness and customer service. The technician who serviced my pump was very helpful. I am elderly and not able to deal with these issues by myself and am very appreciative to such a quick response. I tell everyone with basement water issues to call Everdry.

I attended the Toledo Home Builders Show and stopped by the Everdry Booth to get some information. The staff member was extremely knowledgeable. At that point I realized I needed to sign up for a free inspection to get my basement evaluated. I was able to get an appointment right away. The inspector came to our home and did a very extensive evaluation and answered all our questions. We decided that we definitely needed to have the work done for the safety of our foundation and the health of our family. It has been 3 years since we had the waterproofing done and have been water and mold free. Our first meeting with Everdry till the last day of installation was a breeze. The crew could not have been any better at respecting our property. It is great to be able to walk down into our basement and have it feel like apart of our home instead of the dungeon it once was. Since we have had our basement done two of our friends also did and they are just as pleased as we are. We would recommend Everdry to anyone with basement water or mold issues!

Continued from above We knew what to expect every step of the way. I do believe that their commercial is a little misleading, where they show the the finished basement--but it is your responsibility to ask question of the individuals doing the job. The foreman answered all of our questions. Our basement is dry and we have had very heavy rains since Ever Dry did the process. It was a lot of money, and a lot of work on our part getting ready for the procedure before and then the after work, but we do have peace of mind when it starts raining that we will have a dry basement even when the power goes off. We can now use our basement, and it has no musty smell or damp carpet.
Description of Work: We live in an 11 year old house. Since the house was built we have had problem with high condensation, mold and dampness in the basement. The builder would send someone out and do a band aid approach. A sales representative from Ever Dry visited our home and checked it out and found various areas of dampness and mold. He also told us various options that we could do, and then we made the decision to do the whole process inside and out. We had 4 days of our own preparation before they came, since our basement was semi finished, and we had a deck on the back of the house. Four days of work on the part of the crew--who hand dug every thing on the outside and in. Every little crack on the inside of the basement wall and on the outside of the walls were repaired. The sump pump pits were redone and high powered batteries were installed. We were impressed with the work ethic of the crew and the foreman. The Quality Control expert told us how to redo the eaves, the mold clean up and various other recommendations. The crew was very careful about putting things back they way they were suppose to be(example with the landscaping We are still in the process of redoing the deck, painting walls in the basement and putting back the carpet. It was an expensive venture -- something that should not have had to be redone on an 11 year old house.
