Description of Work: EverDry provided us with basement waterproofing. Price was more than I would have liked, but worth it I guess. Great warranty (in theory-have not had to challenge it yet) |My only complaints were: |1) they did not do a very good job of cleaning up. Even though they put down floor covers in a path to the basement and on the stairs, the floor and stairs needed to be washed 4 times before they were clean. A job I had to do, not them... |2) Our basement was finished, and they do not provide services to re- finish it. So now I need to find an electrician, a carpenter and someone to re-tile my floor. Yipee

Description of Work: The basement wall (concrete - poured walls) cracked in my basement and a small leak developed. The carpet was found to be wet and when removing the drywall, the leak was located. After contacting Everdry, the requested some photos which I took with my phone and submitted. The next day, I received an explantion of the problem, process to fix it and an estimate for services. Approximately two days later they arrived on time and completed the repair. They suggested I leave it open for at least 10-14 days to ensure no additional leakage was identified. After three weeks, i contacted a drywaller and he replaced the drywall and completed the finiash coat. No additional issues since then and I requested they return to complete another spot in the basement that was not completed.

Description of Work: I invited them into my home to give me and estimate. I did not like the price and wanted other options. A week later they said they had a better deal, they just sent a diffrent salesmen who was a conartist. He told us he was going to do a credit check and while i was get my paystubs he had my mother sign a contract. Then He said he would return later in the week to talk about if we were approved. I had told him my terms and how much i could make on payments. He came back and told me i had to put so much down which i could not. He told me my payments would be twice what i told him i could afford. Then when i said i could not do it he told me i was undercontract in which i did not sign but he had slipped it to my mother telling her it was for the credit check. So after some discussion at that point with a finacial advisor i found it would cost me $5500 to get out of the contract. He also swore to us he left us the information with a renig in the contract. He never left me anything and i have 3 people who are witness to this. A week later he came back and i decided to not get my roof fixed because now i had to pay everdry. He still had yet to bring me the original contract which he then emailed me a copy saying it was going to be around 19,000 but the week i was trying to figure out what to do i also contacted some other people and got copies of there contracts. It was the only way i got it down to 15,000 because he was scamming us. they had larger area's then we did and they only paid 15,000 so why was my area costing so much. Then i was sent a crew who cussed up a storm in my basment broke my water main, sewer main...and took easy ways out to instal the easy breaze and crock. They had taken my stairs out so i couldn't go down and look and when my house smelt of sewer all day and night i called the main office while at work in the morning and told them they were not to do anything but fix the sewer line and put the stairs in so i could go down and physically see what they were doing. I then found many other things like holes in the very thin plastic they put up...cracks through one peice and they were already trying to lay stone so they could put concrete in. I Showed them every thing i did not like and said it was to be fixed before concrete was laid. They pulled one fast one on me. they were not pulling another. Over all i am very very unhappy with how they do business. Not to mention i have a torn up yard they have in the process lost water pressure to my kitchen and basically told me to replace the faucet and that should solve the issue. VERY UNHAPPY!

Description of Work: They fixed two minor cracks in our basement foundation. I was pleased that they honored the Angie's list coupon although they intended it only to apply to waterproofing services.

I would not recommend them.
Description of Work: Had the craw;space water proofed; remember that I felt like I spent a pretty penny, but don't remember how much; I suspect that I got a sales job and didn't really need to have it done; certainly didn't like the sound of the sump pump that now intruded after rain. The crawl space stayed just as damp if not damper than it had before, and their warranty was just a $35 per year expense that means nothing. . .They try to get you to give them good review so they can market their services. They don't come out and check if you ask like they say. When I went to sell my house I had to take $4000 of the price because the inspector found 2 inches of standing water in the crawl space. Everdry did not stand by their warranty because they said it was condensation from the airconditioning vents. . .yeah right. The date and price above are approximate, because I can't remember now. The main point is that they did not stand by the warranty I paid for each year, and then they brushed off the problem when it was found.

Overall it went well.
Description of Work: The salesman was very informative and thorough. He did the inspection and gave us the spiel and then quoted the price for three different options. There really was only one viable option. They helped with financing and that went smoothly too. The office called and scheduled the work to be done. The workers were very young and showed up bright, early, and enthusiastic. They started towards the end of the week and left it half done for the weekend, which was not a big deal for us, but you may want them to start on a Monday to ensure completion in the shortest amount of time. I am sure ours would have been done in less than 5 days. They dug outside the house, waterproofed the outside and dug a new dry well outside, they jackhammered through the interior basement floor to replace old tiles under the floor. The put in new cement , an extra sump pump and well with a back up battery. They installed an air purifier, fixed the floor, set up a dehumidifier and cleaned up after themselves. Before they left, the foreman showed me all that was done, and how to use all the equipment. The actual work was noisy, particularly the jackhammer, but unavoidable. My basement is dry and usable now. Very good experience.

Description of Work: I called and got estimates from several companies to waterproof my basement. They were the first estimate I got which was very high compared to all others. The saesman talked smack about every other company in the area and was rude to another person that came to my house to give an estimate on a totally different job. They are high pressure, pushy and try to get you to sign an agreement right away. The salesman's "boss" came a few days later to offer a better deal because they supposedly had a job cancelled in the area....asked him what the better price was and he wouldn't give me a quote unless I agreed to cancel other scheduled estimates....come to find out they used this same ploy a year earlier with my neighbor. Most unprofessional salesperson I have ever dealt with!! I am happy they will be able to read this review and have no issue with attaching my name to it!!

Description of Work: We had Everdry come out for an estimate. What upset me is after spending about 2 hours with us and giving us their "best price", we received a call 3 days later stating that they were actually able to give us an even better price and a manager was going to come out to remeasure and talk to us about the new price. I warned the girl on the phone that we were not yet ready to sign, so if that is what he was coming for he might as well save his time. She stated that we did not have to sign when he came back out. Well, guess what...the manager comes out, asks what he can do for us and goes on to explain that he's basically there to get us to sign, to fill his schedule and if he's able to sign us on a day that helps them out, we get a discount, but he can't talk about price until we sign!! I told him that we advised the girl on the phone that we would not be signing on this date and he stated that they have a job to do and her job is to get him back out to our house!! So, they approve lying to customers as a sales tactic in an effort to get your business. Due to this fact alone we will not be using Everdry...how honest are they with the rest of their business?!?
