Very impressed with how efficiently and thoroughly the installation crews did their job (including cleanup), and I appreciate their supervisor stopping by to check-in while he was in the area. We had eleven windows replaced and new gutters and downspouts installed in no time at all.

It went great the first day. The team that came out, a man and a woman, were very friendly and explained several things like the new locking system on the windows and how to open them so that they can be cleaned from the inside and the push up lock security system. They also added a good bit of insulation which my other windows didn't have. Then the rain came and came. That delayed things a bit because caulking does not work too well in pouring rain. But they came back and finished the job. The front window in the living room required a bit more work than the other windows because it had to be fitted to the existing frame, but they did an excellent job. The follow up by Bill Earley was fantastic. Id recommend him and the company anytime. I love the new windows. The living room looks totally new and updated just because of the windows.

To start off they were very detailed about what would be done, how it would be done, and the materials used. Very straightforward and knowledgeable about their product. Once started they were very understanding of our working second shift, and were very considerate of us sleeping in a bit later. It took a few days to complete, but the workers were very good about cleaning up and making sure that things were out of the way as we have a shared driveway. Overall I am super happy with the customer service, as well as the work done.

Sales person did not properly inspect job, thus the job took 2-3 days longer than expected and they tried to get more money to cover the extra cost. I argued my case and paid an additional sum but not the full amount they were asking. The install team was 2-3 folks that when I asked during normal conversation about there employment with Erie said ? They were sub contractors?. I should have Kicked them out at this time but with holes in my roof what do you do? Whole house fan that was originally ordered did not include insulation. They had to re-order and come back to install. After the job was finished I looked from the attic access hatch the ridge vent was not cut uniformly with some spots 3-4 inches wide to some areas that looked like 1/4 of an inch. The follow up inspection never happened. They just refused to come out because I wanted an independent review of the work and they wanted to send the same person that I negotiated with on the ?extra? time needed who was extremely aggressive and rude. I tried to call 4-6 times and escalate within the company with zero success. Late 2014 our children?s upstairs bathroom ceiling paint popped and cracked. The drywall underneath was wet to the touch. They had covered up the bathroom exhaust fan and all of the moisture had been collecting for over a year! Needless to say that brings a host of potential problems that we are still working on. We created a new rule in our house because of this experience. We do NOT conduct business with any company going door to door period. Life Lesson Learned

A service adviser from the Dayton office met with us on 8-20 and showed a detailed model of the product and demonstrated with a 350 Watt heat lamp the insulating ability of the window. We were very impressed. These windows are capable of withstanding very forceful impacts. A detailed, written price estimate was given by Mr. Wade and the details of the financing were thoroughly explained. The home improvement loan was a simple-interest loan with no up front loaded finance charges. My windows were measured initially and another representative came later to double-check the measurements. The windows were manufactured in three weeks time at Erie's own manufacturing facility. The installer, Bill Henry, who is employed by Erie, arrived punctually on 9-23 and did an excellent job of installation. The installation was completed the same day. As temperatures get colder, it is apparent that these windows are quite superior to the double-pane windows they replaced. We are very pleased with our purchase and would not hesitate to recommend Erie Construction to others. Erie contacted us after completion and inquired about our satisfaction. We were also contacted by a third party as to our satisfaction with service and product. We are very happy with these windows.

Sales Man is a con artist. He did send flowers after we signed contract. Roofing was put on by a sub contractor not the group the salesman stated. We were told that they had their own construction team and that the roofing was made in their own factory. They were to have a crew working in the South Bend area. They did not! The sub contractor did a deacent job but the grade of roofing materal was sub par. Areas of Stone coating were bare metal. Roofer left it that way. Had to call them back within two weeks of installation because of leak in roof. Roof was warrantied for 50 years. Roofer patched with caulking which I doubt will last 50 years. Was told that roof would meet standards for federal tax rebate. Still waiting on paper work for E Rating and final payoff paper work. Have advised several others not to use this firm.

I made an appointment for a quote on a new roof. The rep was walking around the neighborhood and I had just started looking for quotes so I agreed to let them give me a price. I was instructed that my girlfriend MUST be present because she lived in the house, despite the fact that she is not the owner of the house. I reluctantly agreed. Upon arrival the tech had no tools and had to use MY ladder to access and measure the roof. The sales pitch included an overview of their products and roof inspection where they claimed the roof was in horrible shape and in dire need or repair and they specifically told me that my insurance company would probably drop me if they saw it. Followed by a high pressure you must buy now or lose this price pitch. When I showed shock at their price of $48,000, which was more than the avg home value in my area, and 5 times the amount of our next highest quote, the rep became frustrated and angry. I should also note that they were NOT planning on doing a tear off of the old roof, they were just going to layer over it. At this point my girlfriend and I were feeling very uneasy about what were were perceiving as a scam and asked them to leave. They refused to leave me a copy of the quote as it was "obvious that you are putting price over quality and we both know you are not going to call us!" Just for reference, the quote we went with, which included a full tear off, was only $6800. The most expensive we had aside from Erie was $10,000, from a provider that was admittedly high Overall I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. The fact that they were on time for the appointment is the only positive thing I can say about the experience.

They've worked for me in the past, redoing my roof and insulating my attic, and I've always been satisfied with them. They said it would take them about 12 hours to do the job, and they finished in 11 and a half hours. They had a three man crew on my two story house. They were timely.

If you had your kitchen screwed up from March to July, what would you do? When they do come, they are very punctual. The problem is the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

They're excellent. That was great. They come out and take care of their job.

Very high presure sails badgered my wife and I into signing a contract for 7000$ for windows everyone else quoted at below 5000$.. High presure tactics is the name of Erie's game. .We rescinded the contract the next day under Ohio's three day for in home sales law.

They were honest. They were quick and cleaned up well. He analyzed my situation and advised me not to get a steel roof due to the fact that I won't be living in my home in the next 10 years due to age.

They hired some dimwits from who knows where to do the job.

They required that I give them my driver's license number and social security number which made me very nervous. I called Angie's List to get a rating on this company and discovered that they did not have a good grade. I canceled my service with them.

I am not very happy with them. The guy came in to do a demonstration. They tried to loop you into signing up this paperwork for the quote but in the fine prints, if you need to cancel the quote within 2 days which they never got back to us right away, we were locked into it and they are now locked with the quote and they will do the work. They are very shady. I contacted them several times and I finally got somebody and they said that if I don’t want to do it, I need to send the contract back in. I told him the whole situation and they said that’s not their problem. Fortunately for me, I work next to the post office and I overnight all the paperwork that we did not want it and make sure it goes through but that’s what they do. They wait until the last minute that you can’t get out of it and that’s when they charge you whatever they want to charge you for the job.

The first two days a Father/Son team began work changed out one window at a time. 10 of the 12 Windows fit OK but two did not and could not be installed untill 1 week later.. The work was performed professionally and all cleanup and carry away was well done. A week later the Son returned to install the last two windows. Work was quick and accurate. Later that day the new Patio Door came out of adjument and was very hard to move. Something wrong with the wheels. A service call was scheduled in one week.

Late arriving, sloppy job of pulling off old roof, quit early, late back because of rain, still haven't finished everything. Roof leaked in last year's storm (Irene), had to repaint two rooms and ceilings, cost $5000 - they paid half only. Very unprofessional. Keep away from them.

The owner (Mike) will not return my calls. I'm afraid to use the upper jets of the tub for fear of it continuing to leak. Before they had my money, they were very prompt in returning my calls.

After we had contacted them, a crew showed up within 3-4 days. Initially, a salesman from Madison, WI assessed the roof and told us we needed to do some repairs on our chimney. They completed the job in one day, and worked really hard.

These guys were going door-to-door in my neighborhood soliciting for business. Just for that practice alone I will never use them for any home improvement projects. Sounds like they are desperate.

Siding was installed during late December during cold, windy and snowy conditions. At times we had to collect materials which had been blown into nearby fields. Much of the work was done after dark. We were not made aware of pre-existing conditions on the house that resulted in poor attachment of their materials leading to the collapse of our gutters, soffit, and facia. Our contractor hired people to work on the project who were neither Erie Construction employees nor licensed contractors. We were asked to give a final inspection in the dark during which several details were missed. The company did fix many of the missed details, but in 2012 downspouts and facia came loose and one downspout and facia on two sides of the house became totally unattached. We recommend that customers not make final payment until they are totally satisfied. .

They completely ruined my marble window sills.You can feel air coming through the windows and the window sills now are 2X4s. My window sills will never be the same and they cannot fix what they have done. These people do not know what they are doing at all.

They removed the existing siding and left it exposed for two days. We had a big storm, and it really ticked me off. The siding is fine but the their labor force are idiots. The price was OK, and I love the siding, but the installers were terrible. I would not use them again, nor can I recommend them.

Because the windows were custom made they had to estimate when they would be ready for installation. They were ready much sooner than promised which was a plus. The installers were very professional, very clean, and finished the installation of our entire house of new windows in one day. The foreman was kind enough to stop by our house the next day at 7 am for us to sign papers so that we wouldn't have to take time off of work.
