DELUXE PAINTING

Dave responded immediately when I called him, came out and gave us a quote. He was unable to start immediately, which we expected, so that was never an issue. He called me to let me know when the stain was going on sale so we wouldn't miss any opportunity. Dave kept in touch prior to starting the job, so we always knew approximately what the time table would be. Once he started, he worked through, even on the weekend and did a fantastic job! He was personable, professional, and a very hard worker. I will call him again when we want the interior painted, and again when it's time to re-stain the exterior, although I would bet he'll be reminding me! I recommend him highly. He charged exactly what he said he was going to charge, and when we couldn't keep up our end (power washing and removing vents), he stepped right in. What a guy! Thank you Dave!!!

Dave and his crew do a great job. Dave stays in touch to plan the timing of the job and follows up days after the job is complete to ensure satisfaction. He and his crew get an early start when the weather permits them to work and he keeps the homeowner informed of each step in the process, especially highlighting when the first coat is completed as they prepare to do the second coat. Dave promotes use of my favorite paint, Sherwin Williams and the combination of quality paint and his attention to detail result in a worry free, well done project. He keeps the worksite clean and respects landscaping while doing the job safely.

This was the second time that we had Deluxe Painting (see review dated February 17, 2015). As before David was prompt and courteous with his bid. Due to the wet weather he was not able to start as planned, but once started they worked every day possible until finished, The house is aluminum sided and was looking "tired" after 34 years. They began by power washing the whole house and the deck. Everything was painted with two coats and some areas needed a primer coat. The results are beautiful. It looks like a new house. Dave and his helper Dan do an excellent job of masking and cutting in the trim work. They start promptly and work diligently and are very neat and detail-oriented. The deck also looks great. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Very responsible team . Responded fast to provide quote and explained what they suggested be done, what materials would be best and complete plan of action to complete the jobs. Approx. mid way through House painting I asked if they did deck staining. He immediately inspected the deck ,determined condition and best sealant /stain to be used and number of coats . Provided a quote and agreed to ad it to the painting project schedule so all the work was completed together. Dave knows his profession, great paint selection he made and I am thrilled with the appearance and quality. First I would like to say this is our 'THIRD' experience with Deluxe Painting and each and every time has been a positive experience. Dave promptly returns your call and schedules an appointment to look at the job--he is helpful and will offer professional advice if needed. Dave will not ask for any money until the job is completed and you are happy. Dave was at our home bright and early-went right to work and completed the job ( which consisted of sanding the walls and applying two coats of paint) by early afternoon. Everything was cleaned up and he had us inspect the job to make sure we was happy with everything. He does remarkable work and would recommend him to anyone looking for a professional painter. We will be seeing Dave soon as he will clean and paint our attached decking.

Dave and Danny are nice guys. They are professional and punctual. They did a great job and my rooms looks beautiful. They dont waste time and I liked that they were friendly. I would hire and recommend them. The prices are reasonable and affordable. They take pride in their work.

Great,Great and Wow I can not believe the final finished product of the Condo we will be moving into shortly, simply perfection. This was not a simple paint job even after the wallpaper was down. Dave changed the all the trim and crown molding in the kitchen from stained oak to white (at my wife's request). It looks incredible for just a few coats of paint. The great room has 18 ft vaulted ceilings with built in bookcases and decorative trim top to bottom, again job done to perfection not a drop a paint anywhere it does not belong. Since we did not live in the home Dave would call us at least twice a day to make sure we were happy and tell us what to expect to be done every day. I know I could have paid more or most likely a little less... but this turned out to be a AAA+ paint job. Dave is coming over to help touch up my current home to get it ready for sale now!

They showed up on time early Monday morning, as requested, and stayed each day for a full day's work. They finished up about two days early and gave me a break on the overall cost. Dave problem solved areas where there were surface issues and did a great job. Both were very friendly and hard working. They were here a total of eight days. The job ended up costing me less then his original estimate, which was not nearly as high as others, even though I added a few items once they arrived. They offered suggestions for care of the surfaces and seemed very knowledable. Without hesitation I would recommend them for painting work.

Dave painted three rooms and a cove ceiling with oil-based primer to eliminate the smoke smell and to cover a semi-gloss paint, and followed with 2 coats of paint. He arrived on time every day, worked efficiently and barely took time to eat lunch. He was waiting for some wallpaper for another job, but he stayed to finish my job completely before he returned to the wallpaper job. He expertly caulked all areas that were in need of it. He was neat and clean and the edges of the ceiling and the floors were perfectly done. There were no mistakes to clean up. The rooms look great.

The entire process from bidding through final clean-up went very smoothly. Dave was pleasant, candid and professional. He came out the same day that we called, as he was just finishing a job. We had intended to get two different bids, but Dave's bid was very reasonable, he was thorough, knowledgeable, and he asked for the job. He requires no money up front, He buys the paint and gives you the receipts and then includes the cost (without any mark-up) in the total bill. (He left us the unused paint.) He and Dan (his assistant) were able to start the next day and the job was completed in three and one half days. They began each day at 7:30am and worked very efficiently together. Along the way we noticed several small areas that needed patching and they were taken care of. They were very careful in taping off and cutting in the trim areas. We would definitely recommend Deluxe Painting to anyone. We plan to have them back this spring to do our deck and paint the exterior of our home.

Dave was fantastic, very prompt, straightforward, trustworthy, and delivered on his word. I entrusted him with keys to my condo and even while I was out of town he kept me informed and stayed committed to finishing the job on the date he told he would. He was courteous and provided a reasonable quote. He wasn't the the cheapest, but he wasn't the most expensive either. For the work that was asked out of him, he delivered on all accounts, and he was very reasonable. His crew did a great job of keeping floors clean, and left the place very clean. The final walk through was very professional, he even matched paint for some trim touch up that was beyond the scope of what I asked him to do. He offered to come back and fix any problems that I find. Overall, a great experience. I would highly recommend Dave for any painting work.

They did an excellent job. After the painting was done, they put everything back in each room. They left my house in such great shape that no one would ever know they were here. It looks so nice!

If you want the best painter possible, then you'll want Deluxe Painting. I have had other good painters, but no one comes close to Deluxe. Dave and Dan's painting went way beyond our expectations! They power washed the entire outside of the two story house, scrapped and primed all needed surfaces, caulked and painted all surfaces. Their work was meticulous and done in a very professional manner. The house looks brand new. Dave is very personable and keeps you up to date on everything that has been done and what they will be working on next. They show up every morning on time and put in a full days work. They do not ask for any money up front, you pay when the job is completed. The thing I appreciated is that I paid for the paint (using their discount) and that it was not included in the cost of the job. This allowed them to use what they needed and not to skimp or try to spread the paint thin in order to save them money. At the end of the day they clean up their work area. To sum up, the painting was flawless and their work far exceeds a good paint job. I am sure you cannot find a better paint crew or even a better price for the quality of work you will receive.

Our house hadn't been painted since the early 1990's !!! And with our heavily treed lot it had accumulated lots of tree sap gunk and just plain grime over all those years. In the process of getting estimates more than one painter seemed as if they didn't really want the job? just too much work. Then we met Dave Abdouche of Deluxe Painting. Dave's many many years of experience and resultant knowledge were evident. He knows painting! After a walk-around and estimate, the job was his. His approach is always quality first. This is not some multi-painter crew blitz job with their masking and spray guns, in and out in 2-3 days. This is Dave and assistant Dan using brushes and making certain every square foot of house is prepped and painted well and completely. Our job was done in 9-10 work days. Dave's tradition of quality is matched by his way of doing business. Integrity and his word are his bond. There was no deposit. He purchased the paint and presented all receipts so that we could track expenses vs. the estimate. We paid nothing until the job was complete and we were completely satisfied! Dave's pride in his work was shown daily when at the end of each work day he would invite us to come look at what had been accomplished and then address any questions about the next steps. When we recently purchased our house it was heavily nicotine stained especially the family room ceiling and stairwell. Dave and his crew came in and it now looks fabulous! We can't believe it is the same room - it is so wonderful not to see that yellow nicotine stained ceiling! Dave not only painted but advised us on what would be a proper color and paint choices for the space and it worked beautifully. They had to really work h****** getting that ceiling covered and we feel the money was very well spent. They were very punctual and personable and we will definitely use them again.

WHERE TWO COLORS WERE INVOLVED, THEY DID NOT JUST "FACE PAINT" THE SECOND COLOR ON THE BOARDS, BUT CUT IN AND PAINTED THE ENTIRE BOARD THE SECOND COLOR. THEY SHOWED ME WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED WITH ONE COAT BEFORE THEY STARTED THE NEXT, THEY ACCOUNTED FOR ALL THE PAINT CANS, THEY CLEANED UP BETTER THAN THEY FOUND THE AREA. THEY KNOW THE CORRECT WAY TO PAINT (CLEAN SURFACES BEFORE PAINTING, TWO COATS ON EVERYTHING, PRIME BARE SURFACES AFTER SCRAPING, REMOVE OLD CAULK AND CAULK APPROPRIATELY ETC) AND WHICH PRODUCTS TO USE FOR REPAIRS. THEY TOLD ME ABOUT THE BIG SALE AT SHERWIN WILLIAMS (THE ANNUAL 40% OFF) AND EXPLAINED THAT I COULD BUY THE PAINT BEFORE THE SALE ENDED BUT NOT TINT IT UNTIL I HAD TIME TO DECIDE ON MY COLORS, AND I COULD BUY EXTRA AND RETURN IT IF IT WAS UNTINTED. LASTLY, THE SIGN OF SUCCESSFUL COMPANY: THEY DID NOT ASK FOR ANY MONEY UNTIL THE JOB WAS DONE (I PAID SHERWIN WILLIAMS FOR THE PAINT). THEY WERE NOT MY LOWEST BID, BUT THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Dave did a great job! From scheduling my work to getting it done he did everything he said he would. These rooms look great! Quality workmanship all the way!

I was very pleased with the quality of the work. Dave was very punctual. Arrived every morning by 6:30. Checked in with me to see how everything was going. Did a great job of cleaning up. We were fortunate to get into his schedule. Called him on May 1st. Gave me an estimate on May 3rd and started the week of May 12th. Finished on the 19th. I have some additional painting that needs done so I will contact him again in the fall. Also need to have some plaster repair done and Dave recommended P******'s. That was a great find as well.

I can't say enough about the work that Dave and Dan did in our home. They painted the entire interior, including ceilings, and the trim in several rooms. They arrived on time every day and worked extremely hard. I appreciated the updates that were provided to me along the way, and always knew the status of the project. We are extremely happy with the end result. Dave did a great job filling some holes in our walls and caulked the trim and window frames in several places to ensure a clean look. It's obvious that both Dave and Dan take great pride in their work. Last but not least, even though this was a large job that spanned 2 weeks, Dave did not require any payment until the job was complete and we were happy with the result. That is almost unheard of, and gave us peace of mind that we would have quality results. I would absolutely recommend Deluxe Painting and would hire them again in the future for any painting needs.

I obtained the referral for Deluxe Painting and owner Dave Abouch through Angie's List just over 2 weeks ago. I was quite impressed with all the positive ratings Dave received, so I contacted him immediately. Dave answered his phone on my first attempt at calling him and we discussed the interior painting job I needed to have done. We set an appointment for the following Sunday morning and Dave arrived, walked through the proposed project and gave me what I considered to be a fair and reasonable quote. Due to Dave?s ratings on Angie?s List, and his quick response and professionalism, I hired him on the spot and he, along with his very professional assistant, Dan, was able to start the next day. I was quickly impressed with Dave and Dan as they arrived early exactly when Dave said they would. They were professional, courteous, and very thorough. I appreciated the careful attention to preparation of the rooms by their meticulously masking off all areas that needed to be including carpeting and laminated floors. used tarps where needed and a special floor paper to cover the laminated floors, and they obviously desired to do an excellent painting job. Additionally, I had some plaster work I needed to have completed in the bedrooms and office ceiling, and though Dave did not do this type of repair work, he referred me to another gentleman who came in and also did an excellent job, as well. Dave is the consummate craftsman and he and Dan take pride in their work which was done very well. I plan to have Deluxe Painting do additional painting for me. I would HIGHLY recommend Delux Painting.
