Very well. He responded quickly to my request and finished the work very efficiently. It was less than a week from the time he came to give me an estimate until the work was completed. The quality of work was high and the room looks great!

One of the things that I liked about Dave, the owner was that he was a spokesman. He is a relatively small contractor who has got a couple of painters that work with him and a couple of handymen he calls in. Dave has got one of these personalities that can be a little bit off footing to some people because he is an aggressive, strong kind of a guy but I found him very easy to work with. What I really liked about him was that he said to me upfront, "Look, I would like to bring out a representative from Sherwin-Williams to look at the house, tell me what you need to tell you what you need and to make his recommendation and once you decide on what kind of paints, primers and so forth you need, I will buy it on my credit card and I will give you the receipt so you know exactly what I paid, that comes off the copy. Don't pay me that at all, you pay that directly to Sherwin-Williams". So for the paint materials, I know what I was getting in terms of the quality of paint. I got the contractor's price for it and he called me a couple of days ahead of time and said "Sherwin-Williams is doing 25% sale. They only do them about once every three to four months. Do you want me to take advantage of them this weeks?". He even bought the paint for me for the interior portion, which is not going to be done until December. I got a pretty good deal with that and I really really liked that. The other thing I liked is that when I talked to the contractor about the looks and a couple of firms that I am examining, the contractor gave me his honest opinion on all of them. I am retired so it's home all the time and I watched Dave and his people do the work and I can attest the fact that they are very very quality conscious. They did a lot of little things that were not in the contract that I have not even noticed. They had rid several days of rain, even given that, I thought they completed it in a timely way they were here. Every morning at the crack of dawn, which I had given them permission to be there, they would be there and they knocked off mid afternoon, which is okay. They were here everyday that it was not raining. They were dependable. I thought they did a good job. Dave has a big deep resonant voice. He comes on very strong. I just think he could be intimidating to some people. I did not get the impression that they were a threat at all on my wife or anything to do with me or my business. In fact, I felt very comfortable with my house in his hands. I felt confident that he would do the best job.

It went very well. I wouldn't change a thing.

He did an excellent job. They helped me pick the colors out and hooked me up with the paint.

The job was exceptionally done and I am thrilled. They worked with our schedule and were completely professional. I called to get an estimate and Dave came over the same day. He was willing and able to fit us in very quickly, which I appreciated as we have a baby on the way and wanted to finish at least some of the work ASAP. Dave came over and pained several colors on the walls for us to review before we chose a final color. The whole job took about 7 days, which was what he had estimated. The quality of work as exceptional. Dave went out of his way to get our job done in a timely manner. The pricing was very fair. I could not be happier -- we plan to have the remainder of our house pained over the winter.

It went great. They did the work and I was pleased with the end result. They were very nice and professional people.

We were very happy with both the quality of work and the care in which it was given. We have a hundred foot long ranch house on Lake Erie so, a lot of bugs and birds. Dave is very particular with his work and we were pleased that Sherwin Williams suggested him, he is a keeper.

Very, very satisfied. Dave and his assistant arrived as scheduled at exactly 7:30 a.m.each morning over the 4 1/2 days it took to complete the job. They never disappeared for periods of time as some contractors have a habit of doing. Dave's estimate of the time it would take to complete the job and his rough estimate of materials were spot on. Everything went as proposed without a hitch, which I must say was rather refreshing. The work was excellent with no attempt to cut corners, and at a very reasonable price. Dave provided a receipt each time he purchased paint and would update us on whether/when additional paint would be needed. This was an unusually satisfactory and professional experience. I would not hesitate to use Dave again.

Dave (owner) and Dan did an excellent job from start to finish. Dave responded quickly to my request for a quote, visited the house within several days to meet with me, and provided an estimate within one day. He thoroughly explained what would be done and how everything would look once the work was completed. They worked diligently to complete the work, arriving on-site by 7:30 each day and often working weekends (with my OK) to keep the work going when the weather was good. Dave and I spoke daily during the project so we were both on the same page about what would be happening next, how the work was progressing, etc. I obtained one additional quote prior to choosing Deluxe Painting. The other quote was approximately 1/4 more expensive than Deluxe, which was helpful. However, what really sold me was that they used the highest quality paint, were extremely interested in providing a high-quality job, and stated that I didn't pay anything until the job was complete and I was 100% satisfied. I would highly recommend Deluxe Painting and plan on using them for future projects at my house.

Dave was contacted to give us a estimate on our rental home that had been left as a disaster. He was extremely prompt in replying to our call and was on the job within 24 hrs. from the initial call. We found him to be very easy to talk to, very informative and convincing that our home could be restored to its orginal condition. Within a week Dave and his partner had our home looking like new. He had the knowledge and experience to correct all of the problems that existed within the home. An amazing experience! He was very professional and easy to work with. Was extremely intent to please us and never ask for any money until the job was completed. Upon completion he reminded us to call him if any problems should occur.

Working with Dave at Deluxe painting was a great experience. We had just closed on our new home and needed to have it painted as soon as possible. We were more than happy with how quickly Dave was able to fit us into their schedule. They arrived within a couple days of my first phone call to them. They were hired to paint the inside of our home due to the 25ft ceilings and tight cornered areas. They arrived early and stayed until the job was done. They completed our project within our schedule, and amazingly within our budget. Their prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of work they performed. Dave and his crew were both courteous and hard working. Once the painting was completed, they left the house just as clean as when they arrived. I have recommended them to our friends and family, and would without a doubt hire them again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

They did a a fantastic job. They were quick and efficient and very professional . I thought they were very reasonable too.

They did a great job and were very professional. The work was excellent and he doesn't charge you until he finishes the job. They were always on time and cleaned up after themselves every time. I would recommend them to others in the future.

After deciding to have my entire home re-painted, I called several local painting companies. In one case, I was told that I would have to wait over two months for services, and in another, the company provided me with an estimate, then never returned my calls. Needless to say, I was beyond frustrated in trying to obtain a good painting company. I reviewed additional companies on Angie?s List and contacted Deluxe Painting. I spoke with Dave, the owner and he came to my home within the hour and gave me an on-the-spot estimate. He also stated that he does not accept any money up front (for paint or labor), and that he provides receipts for the paint and tape he purchases. I hired him to do the job and he came the next morning to start. Since the job lasted five days, I entrusted Dave with a house key, which I rarely do for anyone. Overall, I was very impressed with the work that Dave and his assistant Dan provided. The entire house looks beautiful. Dave patched the walls in places that needed work, and he applied an extra coat of paint (3 coats total) in some rooms, at no charge, simply to ensure my satisfaction. In addition, he took down the chandelier in my dining room at no charge because he knew I was taking it in for repairs. I would definitely hire Deluxe Painting for any future needs, and would certainly recommend them for any painting needs.

Came down to 2 quotes. Deluxe painting quoted as 2 coats of paint, so I chose them (even though it was a verbal quote, which came back to bite me). Deluxe Painting definition of 2 coats turned out to be 1 primer coat, 1 coat of paint. Since this was why they had been selected, not happy. Then when they arrived and I met with them (this was a rental property), what we had agreed to be done was not agreed upon. The price was higher than he had originally quoted (once again, always get quotes in writing) and he did not do all the work agreed upon. Would not do the large picture window because it had storm windows that he told me were painted shut, but when I examined them, they were just screwed on with 4 screws on each of the 2 storn windows. When I pointed that out, he said he wouldn't try to unscrew them to paint. I had other work to do on the house that I did not finish before I had to leave, or I would have unscrewed them so they could be painted. He also agreed to clean the upper gutters, which he never did. Never got an invoice or bill for the job, just my cancelled check. Obviously I will not use Deluxe Painting again.

I must say no problems arose and Deluxe Painting (Dave) over delivered by touching up some extras for me while he was there. I was completely satisfied, so much so, I am taking the time to write this recommendation to anyone needing any quality painting done with no worries of, will it be done to satisfaction. In my opinion it doesn't get any better for good craftsmanship.

Everything went well. Dave and his partner were both very friendly and pleasant to have around. The whole job went quickly and smoothly. Dave made sure he explained everything that was going on, and he was willing to answer any questions I had along the way. There were a couple of extra costs that raised the price from the estimate but not by that much. Overall, it was a good experience.
