They did a fine job and the price they charge was reasonable. They did all the work from the outside but kept it clean on the inside when they remove them. They did a good job.

.Jason explained the roofing plans the company has and didn't use any high pressure tactics to get us to pay more than we felt comfortable with paying. That was a nice surprise. He brought the shingle samples out to the house and didn't try and hurry us to make a decision. The crew that did the roofing was here on time,if not a few minutes early both days. When they discovered we had some damage, they called Jason and he came right over to inspect it. He took photos, showed them to both my husband and myself and explained what needed to be done. The tear-off, repair and new roofing job took 2 days, which was a lot shorter time frame than we thought it would be. The job foreman stopped over twice to check up on the job and then came back after it was done to check up on the clean-up. We are very happy with the way the job was handled from sales to clean-up. Our new roof looks great.

I am not sure IF I would use this contractor again, but I would like to think so! While the cabinet snafu was not there fault, they were sometimes unresponsive to call back. Communications in any endeavor is first and foremost. Once I spoke to an owner, communications got better. The sub contractors were very good at what they did, and kept me informed of progress-more people like this are needed to not have my unfortunate experiences happen to someone else! I realize that some problems are unavoidable, but keeping the customer informed goes to a happier customer. I realize now that the company was just trying to correct a problem, and the cabinet manufacturer was mostly to blame, but the slow start to the project just added to the frustration for this job. The sub contractor did come out and "fix" some minor issues after completion which was appreciated. All in all an above average job, but room for improvement.

Very happy from the time we signed the contract to the workers that came out to install. The cleaned up their mess when they completed the job daily. They kept me informed with the progress of the work.

It was a very enjoyable quote process. The guy came over and walked around the house with me. He talked about what he was going to do and the quote reflected that pretty accurately. He got back to me with a verbal quote probably within about four or five days. And then, I also got the quote in the mail probably within a week.

In my initial interactions with the company, I was not at all satisfied with their service. It was by no means the whole company, but the contractor I was working with. After all of my dealing with Arnold Home Improvement was over, they did contact me and let me know that they had handled the unprofessional behavior of their contractor, and they also apologized profusely and expressed their regret that I had such a negative experience. I was glad to hear that the company as a whole did not endorse the kind of behavior and treatment I experienced, and I was impressed at how they followed up, and how respectfully and professionally they handled such a tricky situation. All in all, I might be willing to give Arnold Home Improvement another try, but I would NEVER recommend that particular contractor to anybody. He treated me unprofessionally. I'm young, I'm a female, and I think he just wasn't taking me seriously. I was looking at purchasing a house, and while I often had other people with me, I was the only one purchasing the property or doing any kind of business with the company. However, he wouldn't talk to me: He talked to my boyfriend, he talked to my mom, but he avoided my questions and concerns and I felt like he kind of wrote me off. I definitely felt like he felt he was superior to me, or too good for the job. I ended up not buying the house, so he didn't actually do any work for me, but we had a meeting with my realtor and my loan officer and he was yawning and not even paying attention to these fellow professionals. Everyone else from the company that I had even the briefest of interactions with was nothing but professional, helpful, and encouraging. The contractor's receptionist was wonderful. He was really the only person I was in consistent contact with from the company and he was constantly late for appointments and not showing up when he said he would, and not really getting back to me. At one point I almost lost the house I was planning on purchasing because he didn't get me the estimates on time. He stalled for awhile getting me the estimates because he wanted to know how much renovation money I had to work with; a number I was uncomfortable sharing with him. It was stressful and frustrating, but I should also mention I did not have the time to address the problems I was having with the contractor, or even think about finding a new contractor, because of how far along in the purchasing process I was. If I had been able to talk to the company during the time I was working with him, I definitely feel that it would have been resolved immediately. As far as the company's work goes, I have heard nothing but good things. Their prices were a little higher than I had expected, and I believe the work breaks down to about 35% materials, 35% labor, and 30% profit. While you could easily find contractors that charge less, I did not feel that these prices were outrageous. Once again, I was impressed with how the company handled this negative situation. I sincerely hope I was the only one to receive poor customer service, and that my contractor's unprofessional behavior has not impacted their business in a negative manner. The gentleman I spoke with after the fact was very professional and calm and easy to talk to, and I was happy to hear that he doesn't reward anything less in his employees. In knowing that the contractor in question is no longer as free to represent this company as he was when I was working with him, I have no problem basing my ratings solely on my interactions with the other parts of the company.

Salesman came out to look at job and give quote. Serviceman was scheduled about a week later. Serviceman came out to see job, did not think he could do job for what was quoted. he than left. He showed on July 5 in the afternoon and completed the job in about 2 hours for the quoted price. I paid him and he way gone.

I think what stood out too me was after the appraisal, we all sat down and he explained what they had to do, the warranty and answered any questions I had. Much different than any other appraisal that we had. The workers were all very nice. They finished the job in one day and the second day a different crew finished up putting in the vents to keep the air temperature equal to the outdoor temperature in our attic, which extended the life of the shingles. Overall, I feel quite comfortable with this company and I would not hesitate to call them again if the need arises. I'm still waiting on the gutter replacement. But it's only been one week.

The service provided by Arnold's Home Improvement was excellent. They arrived when they stated they would and completed the job in a timely manner. The installers were punctual and considerate and made sure the job was done to my satisfaction before they left. All the old windows were removed and everything was cleaned up when they left. I would highly recommend Arnold's to anyone who is thinking of remodeling or having new windows installed. It was a real pleasure to work with them.

Everything Arnold Home Improvement has done so far looks good. They're doing a good job of trying to keep the debris down, because they had to tear off the whole roof. The workers are real nice.

We have been working with them for couple of years now for several leaks we've had. They have been great. They have come back and back and worked until they found the leaks that were very difficult to find and they never complained. If we have a problem, all I do is call back. I have never had an argument with them about the work they did or needed to be done. In fact they never even asked for any money in two years until just recently. I couldn't believe how they kept coming back and their determination to find the source of the leak. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent overall from start to finish. The work was preformed on time and to our complete satisfaction. They went over how the job would go and followed through with everything they said.

They weren't the cheapest company that came out but they offered us a really good lifetime warranty that we just couldn't pass up. After we signed, they were out very quickly to put on the roof. That whole installation process went smoothly and by the time they were done it looked beautiful. I was also very pleased with the quality of the work and the crew that came out to do the roof. Everyone was very clean and respectful. I didn't find one nail in my yard when they were done. I would definitely recommend them.

My experience with Arnold's Home Improvement was moderately okay.

Due to the hail storm in the neighborhood Arnold's Home Improvement was very busy. Jason gave a time frame to fix the house and they were able to stick by it. The weather cooperated and the job was done quickly with limited interruption of our lives. The crew was professional and friendly and went out of their way to be sure the yard was cleaned up. This was very important as we just had a new puppy added to the family as well as having three very active kids. Jason personally visited us while the construction was occurring to see how it was going and if we had any issues. He also did an inspection at the end of the job. The roof and siding look great and we have received many compliments about our home.

By the end of the whole thing, the roof looked great, and we were happy with the end result. However, to get to this point took a long time. The project start date was delayed several times. A worker had to come back at least twice to make things right that weren't done right the first time. Maybe this is common with roof jobs, I do not know. We liked the salesperson who handled the job as well as the crew that did the actual job. I had to call the company numerous times though for various reasons, and it was a bit more of a hassle than I would have liked.

The job went smoothly and the contractor, Calvin Rowe, was spectactular! Great work. I am very happy with the finished work.

We would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needed roof work.

Saw the company at a home show, got an estimate and hired them to install solar tunnel in kitchen. No hard sell, just gave me what I asked for. They arrived on time, installed quickly and they cleaned up after they were done.

The guy that worked on it was Calvin Rowe. He is a very hard and conscientious worker. He did a great job. We are very happy with the result. They supervised and it was great. It was a bit pricey but I was very happy with the quality. It was a good investment.

.They gave us a competitive bid. They are platinum contractors. So they use top notch materials. They really did a fine job. A couple of spots they had to come back and fix because the bottom row got started out to high but it was fixed fine.

Contacted Arnold's for a bid on a roofing/skylight job that was very substantial. Problems started when I could not get a written estimate. I discovered their license was not in good standing in the State of Michigan (direct contact with the licensing bureau). I also had extreme difficulty getting written estimates and when they were sent, they lacked detail I requested (ie. warranty, who provides dumpster/permits). I contacted them again and they rescinded their offer to do work for us. My inquiries were at the suggestions our city building dept. as an effort to protect ourselves. They obviously do not want to work for homeowners who ask the "hard" questions. We selected an alternate contractor.
