Took forever (it took eight months for a 3 day job), shoddy workmanship (had to redo it 5 times), hard to work with. The owner ended up coming out and almost starting a fight. We were unsatisfied, lied to, spoken over in our own home, yelled at. It’s a poor job that they left. We couldn’t have the holidays in our home because of work that was never done

I had a very bad experience with Arnold's Home Improvement. I live in a small brick ranch house. I needed to have the overhang and fascia board covered with vinyl; gutters and downspouts replaced. I called Arnold's for an estimate. The salesman, John Pollex, came out, measured and gave me an estimate of $4400.00. I accepted the offer, signed the written estimate/contract. I gave him a deposit of $1465.00; he said they would start in 2 1/2 weeks. Over three weeks later, the Project Manager James Good came out and measured. A few days later, I received a call from the original salesman. He said that the reason they had not started is that he made a mistake in measuring the material and that they needed $3400 more to do the job (or a total of $7800). I believe the $4400 estimate was fair; however, the salesman was pressured by management to get more for the project. I had several estimates and the original estimate of $4400 was in the range of other estimates. Actually, I accepted an estimate of $4200 from a local building contractor for the same job. I would not recommend Arnold's Home Improvement; they seem to have a problem with pricing.

My husband is very pleased with the work and they were very knowledgeable and professional, I will say that I feel the final invoice was much pricier than I expected but then again I did not do much shopping around before hiring the company.

Roof is good but the skylights were installed dirty- When the sun shines in at certain times you can see all the marks from installing skylight. I called bout this issue but my call was never returned . Though I am happy with the roof, I am unhappy with the skylights

Weather kept them from the job for the winter. We contracted with them in November, but the weather didn’t allow them to start until spring. They did a great job, and especially the clean up went well. Couldn’t tell they’s been there.

had new windows and doors installed on the coldest day of the year. they were very quick and for the most part i was very pleased. i have had an issue with a storm door which i've brought to their attention on numerous occasions. and while they always say they will come out and inspect it they never do but they are more than willing to discuss new siding which i plan to install within the next couple of years.. i am planning to have the door replaced this fall and will most likely not use/trust arnolds again. more recently i have had arnold's do some roofing. and while i was pleased with the work vs cost i did see where they scrimped on some of the trim work. they also could have cleaned up after the job better.

They had to come back after it was done because I wasn’t happy. They fixed it. I do not have any leaks and the roof looks nice. They were also supposed to come back to fix the dented gutter that was hanging and installed by a different company which they didn’t but I haven’t hadtime to follow up with them due to a family emergency.

The service turned out pretty well. I had a feeling that when he gave me the estimate that different crew members would be contracted to do the different areas of the work. It turned out that the same crew did all of the work. The person who was in charge came out periodically to check on the workers and make sure everything was going well and they had good follow through.

The service went very well. Their customer service was excellent.

It took them a week to put it on which seemed longer than it should have. We called them to look at a leak from the roof from an addition that was going down the walls at our rental property. I spoke with them months later because they had not followed up and she looked at the calendar and said it was penciled in. This was two years ago, it soured us that they never followed up on the additional project.

They were friendly, efficient and cleaned everything up. They did a great job and the crew was very nice.

We did have to wait for the door to get in stock but it was within the time frame given. The product was good and the installer did a great job with the installation. I thought it was a little pricey.

The service was great. The crew was done with the roof replacement in a few days. We like the appearance of the roof. They handled the whole service in a nice and professional manner.

Pete Mitchell and his crew did a great job on the house. I had previously used Pete to replace skylights on my house so I had him bid on re-doing my roof. His bid was by far the best and since we have previous experience with his team we decided to have him do the roof. Our roof is very steep with a lot of angles that would make the job difficult so we had to wait a few weeks for his most experienced crew to be available. We were not in a big hurry so the wait was fine and we are now glad we did. The crew that did our house worked 13 hours days and were able to complete the entire project in 3 days. The roof looks great and they did a good job of cleaning up as they went along.

Went very well except for the timing of the work which could have been performed when scheduled rather than starting three weeks later.

Sam came to our scheduled appointment on may 12th. he was friendly and seemed very knowledgeable about skylights and had several suggestions. he told my husband and I that he would get us a quote within a week. approximately three weeks passed and there was a voicemail on our home phone from Sam saying that he was going on vacation but as soon as he returned, he would have a quote for us (I don't have the exact date of the voicemail as my husband erased it). Although I was slightly irritated that it took so long to hear back from him, I was relieved that a knowledgeable resource was there to help us. We never heard anything back again from him or anyone else at Arnolds home improvement

They were very professional through the whole process. Our skylights started leaking in December. They were very accommodating about installing them correctly but quickly. They had to work through snow and ice. There were a couple times that the installer needed to wait a couple hours until the ice melted. He asked us if that was ok, informed us when he would be back and came back exactly when he said he would. They were fantastic throughout the entire process.

It took 5 return visits the stop the leaks on my garage roof. They came and did a quicky repair then left. After the 4 th time I wrote them and said I was going to take them to court if the repair was not done properly. The salesman came out and did it him self. I would never recommend Arnolds to anyone.

I liked everything about them, they were pretty nice. They explained everything that needed to be explained. They were very good on their pricing, because I got quotes from other people, and they were very reasonable. The quality of the work was very good, I love my house. They were very punctual, and they always called if they were going to be late.

They did a very nice job. The followed up on things pretty well.

My experience went very well. The staff was professional and did a nice job. The pricing was reasonable and I would recommend this company to others.

This winter was horrible, so the job took longer to start than I would have liked, but that wasn't their fault. Once the weather broke, they completed the job in a satisfactory and timely manner. Cleaned up well too. Perhaps a bit on the pricey side?

After the owner calling and talking with me personally, explaining in detail the problem with the office in Mason, Oh. I feel a second look in the future would be possible. I would advise any customers who was having problems with this office to call the owner, himself. Very nice , professional, and welling to resolve problems quickly man.

Wonderful contractor! Although they got off to a slow start (admittedly for reasons not under their control), they did a beautiful job on the rebuild. They were always accessible by phone and kept us up to date on all details of the build back. Highly recommend them!
