Overall, 4.5 stars. There was a great deal of time between the contract signing (early May) and the actual installation (early August) which was likely due to external uncontrollable conditions. The communication with the office was fine, but I had to be proactive and call. Promised calls back didn't really happen, but the staff was friendly and able to answer almost all questions immediately. The install crew was two guys who were respectful and responsive when I had a question/concern. There is apparently some disconnect between the sales team and the install team as what was described to me during the sales pitch was not what actually occurred (mostly, the sales guy told me that they would use the same post holes as the old rotting fence. The install team explained why that was not a good idea.) The job took 1.5 days which was about what I expected. The leftover dirt from the new holes was spread out around the posts, which made some cleanup for us as the clay soil here will not just subside/fade easily and will kill grass if left on top, but the install crew were upfront about that, though the sales guy obviously didn't discuss that with me. I would hire this company again. They were not the most expensive estimate, but they were not the cheapest either. I'm pleased with the end product, the install crew clearly takes pride in their work.

The gate has worked. They have to come back and clean it up.

Did not use this provider. We wanted to build a permanent dog kennel. We found them too expensive for our purposes.

They did great! They were friendly, professional, and trustworthy. We were surprised that the price was a little higher than it should be but we got what we paid for. They gave us an estimate for the other side that needed fencing but the price was just way out of the ballpark and we ended up doing the job ourselves. We couldn't understand why they were charging us so much money for just that little side. I've recommended using their service.

Provider never called me back

American Fence and Supply were prompt and quick.

They came and installed the fence while I was at work. I had asked that they give me a 2and quot; gap at the bottom of the fence for weed whackers (at their recommendation). One side had the 2and quot; gap the other did not. They also had to come back out because the gate they installed was so high my dog could easily crawl under it (which I told them was the reason I wanted the fence in the first place). They did come out several days later and fix the gate. The real annoyance was later that week when I was cutting my grass and noticed that they had taken two chunks of cement from the old posts about football size and threw them under my pine tree breaking several branches in the process in an attempt to hide them under the tree instead of discarding them or at least putting them on my driveway to throw out. Instead I had to crawl under the tree to get them out. I called company and spoke with their secretary. After almost two weeks I got a voicemail from the company saying for me to give them a call (Too little too late) not to mention it must not have been to big of a concern of theirs to get back to me. When I spoke with the company on the day I called I told them I was not looking for any compensation or discounts but that I thought it was very unprofessional and lazy that they would hide the cement chunks under the tree instead of getting rid of them or least placing them where I could get to it easily to throw out. Unfortunately I had mentioned to the salesman that initially came out that would be needing some privacy fence work done later as well. I don't think they will be getting a call from me.

Initially I was given a price from the salesman. When I accepted the offer and he came back to have the papers signed he stated that his quote was wrong. He had underpriced the job. When I wouldn't sign for the new offer that day he changed his mind and left the price at the original quote. He also told me they would install the new fencing before removing the old since I had dogs so they couldn't escape the yard. When the workers came the first day they left and I received a phone call at work that they couldn't start since my dogs were outside. I explained that I was told they would set the posts the first day then come back to hang the fencing and tear down the old. Apparently that was not conveyed to the workers and a new date had to be scheduled for the work to begin. Once the fence was complete I had to have them back to pound a post into the ground that they missed, which they came back in a timely manner to do. They also filled a hole with dirt that my dogs had dug. I did appreciate that. I would use them again, just make sure everything quoted is in writing.

We had 221' of 72" tall beige Montgomery vinyl privacy fence installed. Our old wood fence had to be removed and cleared away. The company did what was contracted on time. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the quality of the material the workmanship and the finished job.. Thanks to your two installers Bryan and Jason and thier great work habits and attention to details, our fence lookes great.

They promised it on July 6th. Never bothered to call, never showed up. Called me on July 8 or 9 and said that they had a cancellation and could come on the 13th. They got here and dug the holes, put in the posts, poured dry cement in holes, then dirt on top. Attached the slats. So far, it has NOT rained enough for any moisture to get to the cement. The fence is already shifting. Made a warped gate and put it up. When the slats were attached, they put them close at the top and loose at the bottom. Ended up with crooked slats at the corners. All the wood was green and has shrunk over a half inch on each slat. I watched the whole process. It was like Abbott and Costello working together. I'm very displeased with that company. Also, in the contract that was signed, it stated that I had up to 10 days to pay the remaining cost. They sent me a bill two days later. And were calling me to tell me that they would send someone over to get my check.

It was a good experience overall it took a while for them to get to us because they were busy, but once the work was completed we were very satisfied. The young men who installed the fence were very polite and knowledgeable and wanted to make sure we were totally satisfied.

The representative came out and gave us the estimate. I thought it was very fair. He was wonderful and answered all my questions. Didn't treat me any different because I was a women, which has happened to me in the past with other contractors. Half was paid at the time of the contract being signed and the other half paid after work was done. They came out a few days later and did the work. They were very professional, and cleaned up as they went. I will be using them again to put in a gate at my parents home.
