I contacted Home Advisor looking for a plumber. The response from Affordable Plumbing was almost immediate. Ron answered my questions regarding a leak and then we spoke about replacing a toilet. He quoted that job and we agreed to an appointment a few days later. I was pleasantly surprised as my work was not an emergency. Ron arrived and quickly, efficiently and professionally completed the work. He could not have been nicer to work with and I not only highly recommend him here but will also share this story with my friends. Highly satisfied!

Ron was very sympathetic to my problem and was immediately available or made himself available to come right over. I had an individual lined up to put in my water heater, but that fell through. Ron came right over, checked out the situation, quoted a price that was acceptable me and went to work. He was pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend him and will be having him back for less serious plumbing issues I have going on in the future. Thank you Ron!

No call, no show no explanation. That is all you need to know. Ron showed up with an army of children and 2 other adults, did half of the job, and never came back. I was clear in my job description that the yard of tree waste/branches and litter needed to be totally removed from my property. He visited the site prior so he knew that he would not be able to remove the yard waste so why did he wait until the day of the job to tell me that? I could have found someone else who COULD but I was cheated out of that opportunity. What they actually did was bag the tree waste leaving all the bags on my property in the back. He did not trim the trees on the side of the house as was requested. For raking and bagging, I was charged $800. Even still there were many smaller branches remaining on the property scattered about. He never completed the rest of the job which was to install the fence, trim a tree on the side of the house, install a gas stove, and redirect water from a gutter. I was under the impression that the work would be completed on that day, however Ron waited until the last minute to tell me he was not doing the work on that day and that it would be scheduled over 3 days. His phone was unreachable for a day. Then he claimed he had injured himself and needed to wait a couple of days. I asked if he would still be able to do the job and he said yes. He delayed it a few more days and then stopped returning calls. I found that when I called him, I went straight to voicemail. I never heard from him again. Because of Ron, I had to live here with no stove as I was depending on him to be true to his word, install the stove on the day he originally promised, but he did not follow through. He knew my back was injured and I could not move those bags of yard waste to the front on my own so he said he would do it. I made an appointment with Toledo bulk trash pickup for Monday. He never removed the items from the property so I had to hire someone else to finish what he started + the neighbors chipped in to help. There was no explanation. Totally unprofessional, unreliable and I would not work with him or anyone in his family again. Even the charges on my account showed up as **My Business** which looked totally sketchy at best. Additionally, on the day he did the estimate, he went on about his truck being robbed in some other neighborhood as if somehow this was relevant for the jobs he was doing for me? We are not from the area and I was deeply offended by his pre-emptive comments. Better to keep that to yourself because that has nothing to do with me so what is the point? Not my problem.

That they cleaned up after

I contacted affordable plumbing add about 9:00 a.m. received a response I 9:15 a.m. job was completed by 1:00 p.m. Ron was Professional and personable. Would definitely hire them again.

I am wondering if they are still cutting grass. Two cuts and they never came back.

Easy to work with

I needed a plumber right away because the under neath oh my kitchen double sink, the pipes busted loose and filled the whole inside. So when I called and told him of my situation, he came out to my house in less then a half an hour that same evening. He had it fixed within a half and hour. He was very pleasant and took his time to explain everything. I'm very pleased and would definitely call again and tell my friends also !!?

Affordable Lawncare Services did an excellent job in cleaning out landscaping beds around my mothers house - they were way overgrown and had not been tended to in years. The end result is fantastic. Mother Nature did impact the project, but the owner of the company kept in touch and let me know when to expect them and other important details. If you need work done, consider this local company.

Hired for Deck Repair.

They were hired to install a battery backup, bury a sump pump line, and install a French drain. The job was not complete when they requested payment. Took them weeks to get me the battery for the battery backup. Numerous excuses, but eventually I got it. After a day, the secondary line they installed (check valve) came loose and created a constant cycle for my sump pump to run. He did return to fix that promptly but blamed it on the helper. Let us get to the real issue, they buried the sump line and installed a French drain. The yard has been flooded since. Messaged him about it, he said he would dig the hole deeper and add more stone (tells me he did not complete the job correctly the first time). Blames it on a low spot... Contacted him for a partial refund for the cesspool he created in my backyard and said he did what he was paid to do. I beg to differ, as I did not want a cesspool in my backyard. The new contractor is doing the job correctly, I guess I will see you in court...
