I contacted them in the early morning and they were here within the timeframe provided. I received a confirmation call estimating the time he would arrive and they arrived exactly when he said they would. He took a long time and was very careful snaking out the drain of our older home. We discussed possible trouble spots and future work. Josh was very professional and friendly. We will definitely recommend him to friends and neighbors. The sludge queen :)

Thanks to Angie's List, I was able to find an A-rated plumbing company that lived up to their A rating. Ace Plumbing provided a prompt and very reasonable estimate for fixing three faucets at my new house. Josh who initially came out to access the problem, couldn't have been more kind. He was honest about what to expect and I appreciated that. Jay and Mike then came over and did a great job. It was a pleasure to have them as they all were professional, efficient and got the faucets running again. Thanks so much!!

We've been meaning to write a review for a long time and are just now getting around to it. Our experience with Ace was great. The owner himself came out to snake our kitchen sink drain. He only charged us around 40 dollars -- and it probably cost him about 5 in gas, as we live on 286th in Point Place. He was very neat and tidy; he wore booties, which I know a lot of plumbers don't. There was little(if any) mess left behind from the snake. He was also very personable, which was nice. I hope we get him every time we call Ace! I wish we would have found Ace earlier, we will most likely use them solely for our future plumbing needs. Also, keep in mind that I am a very harsh critic, and I really can't think of a single bad thing to say about the experience. On a side note, STAY AWAY FROM BEN FRANKLIN PLUMBING, THEIR PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS AND THEY TRY TO UPSELL EVERYTHING!!!

All gas lines and valves had been original to the house which was built in the 1950's. We don't use the oven a lot, but we were using it on Aug 3. It took a very long time to get hot, which it had done another time. This time there was an unusual smell, not quite the smell of gas, but not quite the smell of burnt food either. I called Columbia Gas, not knowing who else to call. (I didn't realize that plumbers are the people who repair gas lines. I thought we'd need another type of specialist.) A Columbia Gas technician arrived shortly and tested for gas leaks. His equipment showed that we had a leak but he wasn't able to specify its location. He turned the gas off, said to call plumbers for repairs, and then after the repairs they would be back to check everything and turn the gas back on. It was Friday evening and it seemed doubtful that repairs could be done on the weekend. I made calls to a few plumbers and not all plumbers service gas lines. On Angie's List I noticed that Ace Plumbing listed gas line repair. They returned my call on Sunday and said they would be at the house mid-morning on Monday. On Monday morning they replaced all of the old valves with modern ones. Then they tested the lines to see where leaks were. (They didn't do the test before replacing the valves since Columbia Gas had specified that the valves had to be updated. So they went ahead and replaced all of the valves first.) Also we decided they should cap/disconnect (not sure of the right word) lines leading to a 50+ year old grill in the back yard that hadn't been used in many years, and also a line to the fireplace that also hadn't been used in decades. The fireplace burns wood, and the gas line was intended to help fires start. A repair was made in a line in the crawl space. When no other leaks could be found, but a leak still did exist, it was determined that it was in the pipe that was embedded in the concrete slab garage floor. When technicians had been here to service the furnace in the past, they had said that the gas pipe buried in the concrete couldn't be installed that way today. It's not allowed. Ace said that elements in the concrete could contribute to decay of the metal pipe, and that the pipe had no protective covering. They noted that our water pipes are also embedded in the concrete. It wasn't possible to know how much leaked gas escaped under the floor and also possibly into the ground from the old outdoor grill. Ace returned on Tuesday to replace the old gas lines. The line embedded in the concrete was disconnected and left in the concrete. A new line was installed running on top of the concrete floor. Additional new piping was connected to the water heater and furnace in the garage, and also in the crawl space to connect to the oven and cooktop. After the work was completed, Columbia Gas was called for an inspection and to turn the gas back on. The earliest they would come was Friday. So the gas was turned off for a whole week. Luckily it wasn't winter when we would need the furnace. But we were without hot water for a week. Ace said that it is possible to call plumbers for repair and not involve the gas company. The plumbers would then turn the gas back on without the need to wait days for the gas company. But since I didn't know that, and I had called the gas company, we had to accept their inspection date. Regarding the oven being slow to reach a baking temperature, Ace suspected that the oven had a separate problem unrelated to the gas leak. But it seemed a coincidence that the oven was slow when we noticed a smell. However, after all of the gas line repairs, the oven is still slow. It was turned on for 20 minutes and had only crept up to 145 degrees. I was unsure how to grade Ace's price since I didn't compare it to others. I hadn't yet found other plumbers who do gas line work, and since Ace had come out and started some work on Monday, I decided they could do the additional work on Tuesday. They didn't prepare any paperwork to list each item replaced. The bill was a total of parts and labor, so I had no line items for each. They said that the parts were less than $400, so the remaining $650 must have been labor costs. They were here for about a half day on both days. Ace employees were very pleasant, informative and appeared confident in their work. I would recommend them to others. I was pleased that they could start the work on Monday, but I had no idea yet that the gas company wouldn't be back until Friday. UPDATE AFTER OVEN REPAIR: A technician repaired our oven by replacing the igniter. He said it was possible that all we needed was the oven igniter and none of the other gas line work. He suspects that many homes have gas leaks, most of which are tiny and harmless, yet always detected by Columbia Gas. Because I called Columbia Gas, we had to do everything to meet their inspections.

I could not ask for better service. Ace plumbing came in evaluated the plumbing issue made recommendation and replaced the kitchen faucet all within a couple of hours .. Excellent service and staff .. Very professional...

I called Josh about our shower issue on Monday and he was able to come by and look at it that day. He looked over the repair in detail and then provided a very clear and understandable description on how he would fix it. We talked over some potential issues and then he took a few minutes to write up a proposal and quote. Josh scheduled the job for Wednesday morning. On Wednesday they were on time and ready to go. Josh brought a crew of 2 with him but stayed to ensure the tricky part of removing the old fixtures was complete. After the job was done, they cleaned up and checked to make sure we were happy. Josh then called later that day to make sure we were satisfied. We were very impressed with the quality and attention to detail that ACE offered.

ACE Plumbing (as described above) did a very professional job and completed their work a day ahead of their estimated time. Not only did they do the repairs, but also tracted down and purchased for us the MOEN fixtures we had originally ordered but did not receive when the villas were built. These they purchased after discussing with us the types now available and the price range we wanted to be in. They then installed them and completely corrected our water pressure problem.

They were prompt on the service day, and called to let me know when they would arrive. The job took less than an hour overall. They were careful and clean--they wore booties and completely cleaned up the work area after they were done. They figured the Angie's List discount without my having to ask for it--I had told the owner I found them through the List. Today, the owner called to insure that I was happy with the job. I'll certainly use them again.

I need to replace some pipes and looked them on on here and called they and they came out and gave be a price that i could live with and even show me the parts they would use and the cost was broke down in steps. We set a date to do the work ( less than 24 hrs it was done ) Great job !

Was able and willing to come the same day, but came the next day ay my request. He arrive on time. He called that day and gave the specific time. He had to cut a access hole in the ajoining bedroom closet as the builder didn't put an access way in. We knew this before we called. When turning off the main water valve, it was corroded and leaking so that was done too. the city was replacing the water meter in the next couple weeks and that would have required another plumbing call so we had it done at the same time. plumbing costs are high but I don't think he is higher than others. We were given a 10% discount for Annie's list. he called a day or too later to confirm the satisfaction of his work.

Last weekend I was cleaning the drain in the powder room sink and poked a hole in the trap. After a trip to the store for needed parts I found the last connection would not budge. I checked with the list and called Ace Plumbing following the holliday weekend. I was told I would be contacted later that evening,. and was. The next day I was told I would be called a half huor before the service man would arrive and he was right on time. He assesed the problem and even told me a valve I thought needed replaeing was in working order. The work was done in a short time and was done cleanly and courteously.

The job was scheduled the next day. He arrived on time and again was very courteous and polite. First he put down a dropcloth to protect my new floor and proceeded to replace the toilet. He promptly continued the job by replacing the garbage disposal. He was very efficient with his time and cleaned up everything when he was done. He also removed and disposed of the old equipment for me. That was something I hadnt thought about and was pleasantly surprised. His work is impeccible, throrough and neat. I will use Ace Plumbing again and I will recommend them to friends and family.

It was a great experience. The service person, Josh, arrived promptly at the scheduled appointment time. He was very professional and considerate of my house and my time. He put on booties over his work shoes to ensure he did not track any dirt through the house. He explained in detail of the work he would be doing as well as the expected cost for the work. The total job time was approximately 3 hours. When he left my home, there were no signs of any work having been done, expect I now have a new hot water heater and no more leaking water lines. I would definitely recommend ACE Plumbing for your next plumbing job. Way to go ACE Plumbing!

Josh and his assistant were completely helpful and on time. They were so thorough that I asked if they had time to fix a few other things while they were here. They stuck to their quoted priced, and cleaned up when they were through. Will definetly use them again if the need arises.

I called to set up an appointment for an estimate. estimate was accomplished the next day. Worked accomplished the following day. Communication with plumber was excellent.

It went great. He came out and unclogged the toilet. It has been a problem for a long time. He suggested a new one. He said he would be here the next day. I knew I needed a new one and he replaced the old one. He showed me what he was doing as he replaced it.

I called Ace Plumbling becuase I noticed that my sewer stack in the basement bathroom had stuff running down it. When they came out it was quickly determined that the pipe was leeking sewage and needed to be repaired asap. While they were at my home I had them look at everything else and determine that my valves on the hot water tank were damaged pretty bad and you could see it and I couldnt believe that I hadnt noticed it sooner. Also my gas stove hook-up was done wrong and they found I had a small gas leak. I was really lucky that my house didnt catch on-fire. They took care of the gas leak asap and got me on the scheduled for the rest of the plumbing the following week, The guys who came out were on-time and very clean cut looking and took care of the clean-up afterwards. I was trilled with the work that was done and I have recommended them to a friend since. Thank you!! Thank you!!

Our sump pump failed and our water back up (fortunately) was keeping up with incoming water. I called Ace Plumbing they promptly came out and removed the failed pump and installed a new one. We are very please with the quality of the new pump they installed it is much quieter than our old pump and very efficient. Their serviceman was very courteous, neat and polite to answer all question/concerns we had about our sump system. I would highly recommend them.

Mike was great. Showed up on time. Very knowledgeable about situation. Good advice on how to next proceed. Hauled away old sink and cleaned area where sink was located which was a nice, unexpected service. Job was done quickly with minimal interruption of water use.

They got here, gave us some good advice, and got the work done. We were pleased with the work.

They are very friendly. They get the job done without any problems. They are nice and neat when they come into my house. I would use them again in the future.
