They were great! Arrived exactly when they said they would be here, we walked through the house and I showed them what I wanted done, Josh gave me a price, and they went to work. They were finished with everything by the afternoon. The work is well done and solid, they really pay attention to details. They cleaned up everything, no mess anywhere. In fact, they only way you would know they were here is because one of them cleaned out 15 years of cobwebs from the basement bathroom ( thanks Josh!).

He did a real good job. He seemed honest and open. He did some teaching. He was reliable and came did what he was supposed to do.

Ace Plumbing, LLC were excellent above and beyond. They helped fix a water spigot outside that they didn't even know they were going to repair (with no charge). They were very timely and very professional. The quality of their work was just great.

Josh was called to fix a bathtub that had been draining slowly and was now not draining at all. He was able to respond within 30 minutes due to a slow time in his day. Upon looking at the situation, he pointed out an area in the basement pipes that was causing the need to have the bathtub snaked on a yearly basis. This area had a number of bends and elbows and was showing signs of rust and weakness that if not corrected soon would be much worse in the future. On 03/27/13, he snaked the bathtub and correctd that. On 04/03/13, he came back and replaced the pipes in the basement. He also did his best to correct a problem with the overlay we had on top of our old tub that was accumulating water in between the two due to improper caulking. I considered Josh extremely professional...on time, explained fully the current problem and what might/could occur in the future, and the pricing seemed reasonable. The pricing above is for the total job.

There was a small problem with their installation of the primary pump. Josh responded right away and worked hard to resolve the problem the same day. Customer satisfaction is obviously very important to Josh and we plan on calling him whenever we need any plumbing work done.

The overall experience was very positive. Josh and all the employees from Ace were all very professional and performed fine work. The project took a few unanticipated obstacles, but Josh was understanding and worked around our schedule to still complete the project in time.

Overall it was a very good visit and I would definitely use them again in the future!

Wonderful experience. Very nice to deal with a company like Ace. It restores your idea that there are good people in this world. I will definitely call him again for any plumbing issues the house has.

I called Ace around 10:30 this morning and explained the problem, and they came around 12:45 this afternoon and cleared the drains, double checking their work and then running the snake (or whatever) between the two drains. The two young men then cleaned up the area, made sure it was dry under the sink, and even wiped the two sinks out when I told them it was OK, I'd be disinfecting them. I was very pleased with their work.

I called Ace Plumbing as soon as I woke up that Wednesday morning, and by early afternoon they were at my house. The kitchen sink had been draining slowly and then completely stopped draining, which is what prompted the call. My house is technically not in the area that they usually cover, but the man I spoke with on the phone told me that they would be out that way so it would not be a problem. This was very appreciated. He gave me a time frame of 12:00 - 1:30 pm. Two men showed up a little after noon (they called first, just as promised) and got right to work. The only reason that they received a B on professionalism was because they did not wear protective booties over their shoes. This is just a minor detail in the grand scheme of things since I have mostly all wood floors so cleanup was easy, but it would have been nice. A short time later, they told me that they had unclogged the sink and handed me the bill. Overall, I am very happy with the work that was done and we will definitely be calling them for our future plumbing issues.

I was satisfied. They came out right away and did a good job. They were professional. They solved my problem. The price was a little high, but I needed to get the job done so I had to pay for it.

Josh, not only provides excellent service, but he also provides great advice in regards to how my overall systems are functioning and what proactive steps can be taken to prevent costly problems. Bottom line: Good price, friendly service, fixed everything, bad cleanup. The jobs were eventually completed to my satisfaction. The original quote was to replace an aging sump and install a water backup. We had also received a quote to replace the master shower control/valve that was leaking. The technicians were supposed to be at the house by 9am, but arrived closer to 10am. While I typically expect contractors to be late it is always nice when they stick to the time frame they gave me. There were two techs. They began by disassembling the sump in the basement. They asked me if they could use some extra carpet squares to place dirty parts on. Some of the parts did not end up on the squares as there are was dirt all over the carpet. A drop cloth would have been nice for them to bring. After getting to the point were they were going to shut off the water to the house they discovered that the house side valve was not working. I told them to replace it since the water was off anyway. One tech worked on the valve while the other started cutting a hole in the bathroom for the shower control/valve replacement. Drywall, caulk, and misc bits of the control were everywhere. Again no drop cloth. The new shutoff valve was installed and they started work on the sump and shower control/valve at the same time. It took longer for the sump so I mentioned a couple of things to the tech upstairs such as one sink not draining correctly and that the plastic water line to the fridge always made the ice cubes taste bad. He was able to pull a rather disgusting hair ball out of the sink without charging me and I decided to have him run a new copper line to the fridge for a reasonable fee. The sump install continued in the basement. There were issues with the backup leaking. The techs left and got a replacement sump as they believed the one they had was broken. After returning they finished the water sump backup install and attempted to install a plastic access panel on the wall behind the shower so that the valve could be serviced again without cutting into the wall. These types of panels apparently get "glued" into place. Not my idea of a sturdy panel. The tech could not get the panel to seat properly and decided to caulk the gaps to the wall as I said I was going to paint. Remember to never fix problems with caulk! All the work was completed by 2pm. I went through and started inspecting the jobs and cleaning up the messes. I discovered that the backup water powered sump was in fact leaking again! I called the techs on their cell# and they came right back. However, I heard the driver yell "Ahhh!" in the background when the tech on the phone said the water backup sump was leaking again. Not very professional. Turns out they had too much tension on the water line and had to rerun the last two feet. That was probably the issue with the original sump. I also noticed after 24 hours that the caulking job was done badly. There are gaps that are now showing. I will probably just fix that myself. The techs were not good on clean up. They left a variety of debris all over my house from drywall bits, dirt, and the old refrigerator line (in the middle of my basement with drop ceiling tiles still open). The copper line which I was excited to have fixed to get rid of the plastic taste is now producing ice cubes that smell like industrial solvents. I'm assuming that will go away, but may need to have the techs come back if it does not.

We had an excellent experience with ACE Plumbing! They immediately returned our phone call and came out to look at our problem. They only repaired what was necessary and explained to us why we did not need repairs on other areas. One of our parts was still under warranty, they ordered the part and came back out to immediately finish the job when the part arrived. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend their service.

We know absolutely nothing about plumbing and we just bought our new home that needed some immediate work. Our friends recommended we call Ace Plumbing and we researched them through this site and BBB - they had great reviews. Ace Plumbing sat down and reviewed our home inspection documents with us and helped create a plan that addressed our top priorities. So far, they have stripped and rebuilt an entire bathroom, replaced the sump pump (plus installed a back up), installed new appliances (washer, dryer, refrigerator and dish washer) and fixed the kitchen faucet. We couldn't be happier with the work that Ace Plumbing did. They knew we had a tight budget (new home owners) and I feel like the work we received was way more than what it cost us. As soon as spring gets here, we're looking forward to having Ace Plumbing replace the entire upstairs bathroom, install a reverse osmosis system and install the garbage disposal. Highly recommend this group.

Great...I called ACE Plumbing late Sunday evening and they were able to schedule my job for Monday. When he arrived, he was very professional. He made certain that he protected the work area in the kitchen and explained in detail what needed to be done. Another great job by ACE Plumbing. We've used his plumbing services in the past and plan to continue to do so for any future needs.

Ace was prompt and very professional he inspected our ten year old hot water tank and said we did not need a replacement at this time. He also inspected our water recirculating system and said it needed to be inspected. He replaced our shower valve and cleaned out the pipes. We were very satisfied and would highly recommend Ace Plumbing.

My wife and I were absolutely pleased with every aspect of this experience. It was very refreshing to have a professional job done by a very honest and sincere person as Josh. He arrived at exactly the time he promised, and performed the service in a very timely manner. He explained exactly what he was going to do and gave us a very fair and accurate estimate (and at a very reasonable cost). Called ACE around 10:00 AM, they came quickly about 1hr 45 mins after my call. They tested both the primary and backup sump pumps, The backup was OK, they replaced the primary sump pump. They took the time to explain to my wife and then me what was wrong, our alternatives and then replaced the primary sump pump, tested everything and left. Great service!!

Josh got back to us right away after leaving a message with him. He provided an estimate the next day, and completed the work one day later (this was not an emergency). Very nice and professional, attention to detail - he cared about the work and was very friendly. Price was about as expected. I would recommend Ace Plumbing without hesitation.

Josh Barfield was professional, efficient and helpful handling our plumbing service. My husband called about our dripping shower head. He sent Josh a picture of the shower unit hardware, gave us a free estimate, and scheduled an appointment within the next couple of weeks. Josh put on shoe covers the moment he walked into our house. He was able to get to the point of the problem and even showed my husband how to remove and replace the mixing valve cartridge. Josh brought all the necessary parts needed based on the picture he was sent prior to the appointment. Josh was very good at explaining how the unit worked and completed the job in less than an hour.
