I hired 2 men and a truck with a 3rd man. I had to schedule out a week then when Saturday came they couldn't move my safe and called for a fourth man. They still couldn't move it and ended up leaving. I called Pete that day and he moved it the next day for cheaper than 2 men and a truck was charging me. When Pete and his helper came they were professional and had the safe moved with only 2 people in about 15 minutes. And I think Pete said he was 72 years old. Omg. They were amazing. Definitely will hire him again when it's time.

Everything went great. Pete picked the safe up from the store and moved it straight into my basement. No issues and a great price. I will definitely use him again in the future.

The team was great at communications their arrival time and took great care to keep any damage from happening to the safe and the property. Very impressed with their equipment and knowledge and super strong backs.

Things went great. These are good guys, very professional, prompt, and they know what they're doing. They have the right equipment and experience to do the job right, and believe me... when you're moving a safe that weighs as much as a small car, you can't use a refrigerator dolly and a few buddies. Totally fair prices for how much hard, skilled labor this requires. I WOULD NOT LET ANYONE ELSE MOVE MY SAFE... seriously, they're REALLY good.

I purchased a 700 lb. gun safe which was approximately 72" tall, 40 " across and 24" deep at Tractor Supply Co. in Hebron, OH. I needed to have it delivered to my home, about 20 miles away. The company TSC normally used refused to move this safe because of it's size, so I had to search out a mover. I checked several options through Angie's List, but found the movers with the best reputations would charge as much as $400.00 and require 3 people. Buckeye Outdoors, a large sporting goods store in the area told me they used a company called Pete's Safe and Vault Moving, LLC in Tipp City. I was concerned, since Tipp City is north of Dayton, a good distance away from Newark. Nevertheless, I called and got Pete Clark, the owner. I explained the safe needed to be picked up at TSC and taken to my house, in the country, southeast of Newark. It would be going up two steps into the house, and moved to a back bedroom. What I forgot to mention was that I had a long, steep gravel driveway. I was concerned about the distance and was told it would be no problem. Pete said he had several other safes to deliver in the area, and he would add me to the list. The cost would be $175.00. Especially after the other estimates I got, I figured, he was missing something, Nope, that was the estimate. I was also really worried about the weather, since we were due for (and got) several inches of snow, as well as sleet and freezing rain. I had about 36 hours after the storms passed for the roads to clear, The day before delivery I called to confirm the delivery and Pete asked if it would work to reschedule it for the next Sunday. I told him I really couldn't, since I had already paid to have the driveway plowed and salted. He said he would be there the next day. They called me the day of delivery and gave me half an hour warning so I could meet them at the store. We met, and there was only one person. What? For a 700 lb. safe? Well, the safe was loaded into his box truck, which already held at least 3 other safes, and he followed me to my house. It took a few tries to make it up the driveway, then he went to work unloading the safe, removing the pallet, taking it down the sidewalk, down two steps, then up two more to get it into the house. His equipment was amazing. I can't say it was effortless, but is sure looked that way. He continued to the bedroom, set the safe exactly where I wanted it, on a rubber pad I had in place. He set up the electrical outlet for me, demonstrated how to reset the combination on the safe, then made sure there was no mess before leaving. There wasn't a scratch on the safe or on my wood floors. And yes, the charge was only $175.00. Pete's serves Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati and has gone as far as Zanesville. I rarely make recommendations but I would recommend Pete's to anyone.

The experience went very well. Pete returned calls promptly, let me know that he was picking up the safe from the trucking company dock and when to expect him. I called Pete before ordering my safe to see if the safe I wanted could be put in the basement. Unfortunately, the my stairs to the basement would not allow the safe I wanted to be put there. Pete did say, that the safe I was looking at would not cause any problems if placed on the first floor based on his 20 year experience in delivering safes.
