Description of Work: Howard Heating & Cooling was brought in on a subcontractor basis to remove sheet metal duct for a floor joist termite damage repair, and provided a proposal for new duct work and a high-efficiency gas furnace to replace the 20-year-old working medium-efficiency gas furnace. We sought three other proposals and Howard was not the highest but was the second highest. We ended up going with another contractor because of their advice that a high-efficiency gas furnace would not pay for the higher cost within 20 years, and the existing ductwork could be reused without replacement.

+ -1 moreThey actually inspected our house when we bought it. They were very professional and good. I had them come out when our furnace had to be replaced. They were the best of the group. The checked and replaced our furnace and air conditioner. They helped us to get all the rebates and were wonderful people. They were very personable. The owner came out personally and looked over the furnace and made sure that everything was the way his worker had described. The workers were very good too. They are the kind of people whom you can invite to your house and feel comfortable.
