Eric arrived on time, was professional, friendly and courteous. He immediately got to work - testing to see exactly what the problem was and then made recommendations, The faucet was leaking and flooding the garden. He rebuilt the existing hose bib. The job took less than an hour. It works great! Very satisfied with his work. He also took a look at a shower we are having problems with and gave us some recommendations for a future project. I will use them again in a heartbeat! They are a smaller home town company and take pride in their work!

Our generator did not start for the weekly "test". It is a whole house generator. I called Ed's promptly and one of their electricians came right out to assess the problem. The display panel was showing low oil pressure. He went to the trouble of going to the store for me and getting the right synthetic oil to add in the generator. It started right up with no further issues. I have used Ed's faithfully the past two years since my builder recommended them. I have had them add a sump pump alarm with text messaging in case of failure, a backup ac/dc sump pump in the overflow pit, install platinum surge protectors on two circuit breaker boxes, add a new 220amp. outlet for the backup sump pump. They also have installed auto on/off outside lights and replaced our humidistat system in our indoor pool room (due to tornado damage). I used their plumbing department in the fall of 2014 to disinfect our well. We have taken out a contract plan with them to do the annual maintenance on our generator. I have also used them for other smaller issues. I know most of the guys in the electrical and plumbing department and they are all great ! They are all very friendly, well mannered and always explain everything to the customer. They are the only company I will use for our electrical and plumbing needs. I can always count on them when I need help as my husband works overseas, and that means a lot to me. While other companies have given me the run around and are not dependable, not so with Ed's. I will remain their faithful customer as long as I live in the area, Great work guys!!!

It went great. We moved to the area in August and have used them 8 times so far. We've used them for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. It's great to have the one stop shop with we'll trained staff. They are the most professional group we've dealt with. We are definitely a return customer.

They are one of the only businesses that can take care of everything you need including plumbing, heating, electrical, and more. Their contractors are specialized in only one of those fields, so they always send the right person over. They cover their feet before they come into the house so nothing gets dirty. They don't mind if you watch them as they do their work. They are very knowledgeable and can answer any of my questions. The way they talk to their customers is excellent. Once a week, they have a get together with their employees to go over how to give great customer service. They are completely honest and don't try to upsell you on things you don't need. They are also very accommodating. I would highly recommend them and will continue using them in the future!

All went very well. They provided us with space heaters until the next day when they had the part. Bravo!

They provided an auxiliary AC unit while ours was being ordered. They provided prompt service and did an excellent job.....I would recommend them for HVAC replacements.

I was looking for a high efficiency fireplace to replace my existing fireplace in Springboro Ohio. We called on Ed?s in Tipp City. We have been doing business with them for our heating, air conditioning and electrical needs over the past 20 years at our prior residence north of Dayton. We were pleased to learn Ed?s operations extended to our newer location just south of Springboro. When we had Ed?s check out our heat pump I mentioned our desire to replace the fireplace with a more efficient one. We were pleased to hear Ed?s could install a fireplace for us. They sent JL out came and he measured the space and recommended a Kozy Heat Fireplace. I did my own research and concluded this was the highest rated zero clearance woodburning fureplace available. JL?s crew came out and installed one the new fireplace for us. As always, they did a great job installing the fireplace and flu liner it in a timely manner, leaving no trace of debris behind, and displaying a friendly and caring attitude from start to finish. They provided excellent advise in operating the fireplace. As a plus, when they were on the roof installing the flu liner they inspected the area and identified necessary caulking needed around the vents. One of the areas already had a slow drip leak to the ceiling below, and I had not yet identified the source of the leak. I was able to fix these with about $20 in materials. We are very happy with the fireplace, the nice display of burning wood, the heat it provides, and the fireplace efficiency.

I have been turning to them for my handyman needs for three years now. They are professional, prompt, competent in their work, respectful of my home and quick!

While Ed's was here installing our new furnace and central air, they discovered that our electric service was not up to date. We only had 60 amp service with an old fuse box panel. They did not offer to update it for us....just told us they recommended getting an estimate to upgrade our electric service. This really impressed me, instead of just saying well we can do that for you for this amount of money $$. They just let us know that it needed to be upgraded and advised us to get an estimate. Since they were here however, I called their office and asked if someone could come out and give us that estimate. They came out that same day and provided us with a very reasonable estimate and explained in detail what we needed done and why. Shane was outstanding! We did decide to go with them and they were at our home the next day! They were very committed to getting the job done on time as promised. At one time we had six Ed's Heating and Cooling vans here! Great service!

They were here promptly at 8:30 am. They were respectful of our floor and placed drop cloths over it so that it did not get dirty. They were friendly and professional. With the estimate they gave us, we had five different options and pricing to choose from. They explained in detail about each of those options. They did an outstanding job! We love our new furnace and central air unit! We will continue to use them for any of our needs in the future and highly recommend them to others.

Furnace repair, HORRIBLE, guy turned off gas then checked inside. Then forgot he turned it off and said it was broken. Said I need a new gas valve, heat exchanger, vent pipe, and over $1500! Threw him out of my house! Called another company, fixed the fan, $300 and has worked great ever since!! Only problem is after Lynn's fixed it without screwing me, they merged with EDs!

Arrived 1/2 hour ahead of schedule. Two very personable, professional, technicians. Quickly located and fixed problem.

No show. Left work early to make sure I was home during the 2 hour window I was quoted. 25 minutes past 2 hour window. No call. No show.

The two plumbers were polite, clean and did a very good job. They even wore cotton cover shoe covers so not to soil the rugs or floor.

For the last three years, we were using carbon filters in the hood to suppress cooking smells but it was not working very well. My wife continuously unhappy about smells getting into clothes upstairs. Fortunately, the hood had option to install external exhaust. I contacted Ed after reading reviews on Angie's list. They sent the estimator the very next day and we had our re installed exhaust working perfectly by the end of the week. The estimator came on time and discussed our requirement in details. I was very pleased with his proposal and estimate. Ed's two person team came three days later and spent about 5 to 6 hours working on the project. They were punctual, quick and polite. I was very pleased with the results. My only regret is that we should have done it sooner.

+Arrived on time. Installers were very professional. They removed old water heater, installed an 18" riser platform, installed and plumbed new gas water heater. Cleaned up as they went and did not leave any mess after work was accomplished. Installation looked great. Water heater works flawlessly. Definitely use in the future and would recommend to anyone.

After a negative experience with our home-warranty provider and a disreputable company that they sent out, we called Ed's because we had used them successfully in the past. It took a couple of days for them to make it out here, but that's understandable because of the spate of cold-related incidents in the area. We were given a 2-hour window, and Jimmie, the repairman, called about half an hour early to ask if he could come out a bit earlier since he was available. Sure! He soon arrived and got to work getting into that tiny crawlspace. He and my husband spent a couple of hours down there, replacing, sanding, and repairing the elbow in question. He did state, contrary to the last contractor, that the boiler pipe in question did not disconnect due to freezing temps, which we were confident of ourselves. I just wish this company would work with American Home Shield, but I can certainly understand why they don't. Anyway, Jimmie was extremely nice and very professional. We will certainly be contacting Ed's for future repairs and recommending them to others. We feel their prices are quite reasonable as well.

Everything went wonderful. The service was quick and did not have to wait. I would highly recommend them to others.

I called to get an estimate for connecting a range and dryer to the propane system already in the house. There were propane lines in the basement near both locations, but not running the last few feet to the new appliances. They reviewed the existing lines and told me that I needed all new lines due to the size of the existing lines. The house when we bought it was using LP only for the hot water heater and the furnace. We agreed to the new lines and reluctantly to the $2,440 cost. They sent two individuals who worked all day installing the new lines. At about 6:00 they finished up with the stove and tested it by turning it on. The flames were very high with lots of yellow in them. I had never worked with a gas/propane stove so I wasn't aware that this was bad. After a few cases of 3 foot flames when igniting the stove, I started doing some research. It turns out that they did not even consider the fact that the stove from the factory is set up for natural gas. There are different orifices that need to be installed for LP gas. They were the experts, but it took me doing the research to find out what was wrong and have them come back to fix. To their credit they did indeed come back to fix the stove. The dryer on the other hand did not come with a conversion kit. I ordered one and contacted Ed's to install it as well. They refused saying they did not like doing that work. The fact that the professionals at Ed's heating and cooling installed LP gas to appliances that were not properly converted and did not tell us of the danger is extremely irresponsible. I used both appliances before learning how dangerous it really was. We are lucky that we didn't burn the house down!

They were very fast and efficient. We had a complicated problem and they were able to resolve it easily.

The service was great, everything he did was very good. We were very impressed by how professional, efficient, and thorough the work was.
