Description of Work: Needed our tank less whole house water heater repaired. System was troubleshot using manufacturer's tech support, properly diagnosed and efficiently repaired. That was 3 weeks ago and continues to work like a new one.

Description of Work: Changed 48" T-12 fluorescent light tubes in kitchen light fixture. We provided the light tubes. Homeowner could not extract old, failed tubes from fixture. Electrician from Ed's did the job and put in new ones.

Several days more techs. would show-up to help as their work on other jobs concluded -- all the while, any questions were answered in professional, helpful manner. Upon conclusion, sys. was checked-out to spec. & my satisfaction. I would highly recommend "ED'S" to any homeowner or business shopping for upgrade on HVAC sys.
Description of Work: Replaced original, existing HVAC system with high efficiency American Std. 95% efficient, 2 stage, variable speed furnace & 15 SEER AC.

 + -1 moreVery professional. Rep came out on time to provide an estimate. Estimate was competitive with other estimates. Representative was honest about the need to not replace one component saving me about $200. Installation was fast, accurate and well done. All old components and materials were hauled off. Any dirt was cleaned up. Installers showed me all of their work, showed me the general components, what they do and how to do proper regular maintenance. Installers were actual employees. Responsiveness to follow up maintenance has been good. Was disappointed that connecting the emergency heat was not included in the original estimate and that it would cost substantially more. I expected it to be part of the installation. Would also like to receive phone reminders of future maintenance checkups.

 + -1 moreFrom now on, they will do all of my heating and air work. They are totally professional from the first time you call them. They are also good with follow ups. They are great people and I highly recommend them. I have had my air conditioner serviced in the past by them routinely and they have always done good. They do not just look at the thing and say they are done. The will tear the thing apart, vacuum, clean and reassemble. They are very efficient and very professional. As far as pricing, well, you get what you pay for. There was a lot of work involved and I think I got what I paid for. They was also quick. It took one full day and maybe and hour the next day to complete. They would not leave until they was satisfied. I tell ya, it is picture perfect.
Description of Work: I had the 80000 BTU gas furnace replaced by Eds. They modified all the ductwork, re-piped the humidifier and installed a new furnace that went from 29 inches to 44 inches.

Description of Work: WE WERE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH OUR FURNACE AND THEY FOUND OUT THAT OUR HEAT EXCHANGER WAS CRACKED. THEY THEN DISCONNECTED IT FROM THE GAS AND THE ELECTRICITY, AS IT WAS NOT SAFE TO USE IN THAT CONDITION.
