Great, great great!! Cathy has the eye for decorating that's for sure and her husband, Chuck, who completes and organizes the hard work, is great also. My husband and I bought new living room furniture last year and the colors were just blah. I'm in a wheelchair and can't get out much so I called them to help and I couldn't be happier, she is wonderful and very pleasant to work with. When she first came to my house she gave some suggestions and I have to say I wasn't on board. Next visit was samples of drapery, chair, rug and pillow material for the great room, vanity, vanity top and floor material for the bathroom and carpet samples and I still have to say I still wasn't sure. She is so patient and understanding. She brought more drapery samples and I fell in love with the mix of original samples and new. The bathroom, looks great. I was worried at first but turned out wonderful. Not happy with the profile edge on the vanity. I expected an edge that would not be so obvious that it was laminate and more like granite like I had seen at Lowe's and online. It was my fault because I just assumed instead of asking questions. I have never used an interior designer before and wasn't familiar with how things worked. Anyway, I still love it and it still looks wonderful. Now the surprise, I love that she ask we leave while she moves everything around and decorates, love, love, love it!! The great room looks WONDERFUL, I cannot express how much I love it. Everything coordinates beautifully. I will post before and after pictures if I can figure out how. She still needs to come out and finish decorating and arrange the furniture in the guest room using what I have on hand as my budget, unfortunately, is tapped out, but I know I will love it, she works wonders. We had some problems along the way, but everything worked out great. One surprise was I didn't expect to be charged for her shopping. She failed to mention that in the contract. Again, I had never done anything like this and didn't ask. If you hire her, and I would highly recommend it, just ask lots of questions, you will not be disappointed - guaranteed. I will be contacting her again as soon as my budget allows and I can't wait. I posted this by accident. I went in to update some things and was distracted by the phone. The job is not complete yet so I will update on the way things went after it's finished which will hopefully be soon. The above review was written several weeks ago.

I purchased my countertops through Menards. Chuck Caston was one of the contractors that Menards offers when you purchase through them. I did contact more than one of their contractors. But Chuck Caston seemed more professional and accurate with his measurements. Although he was the most expensive contractor of those we interviewed, we chose him because he offered to deliver with his services and would dispose of any materials we were no longer needing. We did have an issue with our countertop being damaged by the store. I was glad to have Chuck there to let us know what had happened and how to get it fixed. Once our countertops were re-made he was able to get us in quickly. Chuck had a partner with him to help him install the items. It all went rather smoothly until the plumbing didn't match the new sink. Chuck went to a nearby hardware store for the parts. He tried to do a quick fix. After he left I noticed it leaking. I called him. He did come out to fix the leak and quot;the right wayand quot;. I also noticed that one of the countertop edges had been scratched. He resolved both of those problems in the second visit and only charges me for materials that day. I had to have him out for a third time for leaking. I was not charged this time. He tightened some areas. So far all has been fine. Overall, I did pay a higher price than was quoted. I wish he would have and quot;done it rightand quot; the first day with the plumbing under the sink. Instead of having me pay for two trips to the hardware store when he was and quot;trying to make it work with what I had from the last sinkand quot;. Using the diamond sander on the countertops made a mess of gritty sand in the house that I had to clean up. Honestly though, I was comfortable having Chuck in my home. He did a nice job. He was easy to contact and discuss any concerns I had. I would recommend him. I would just advise the potential new client to set aside some extra cash for those times when things don't go as planned.
