The contract and estimate did not match up at all, contract had very very small print that contradicted our verbal agreement and it was to his advantage. Did not show up when he was to, and would not refund the 50% deposit. DID NOT coordinate or pay AEP Ohio Electric Co. for the underground wire charge, and it was part of the estimate/costs. he was to drill holes in floor joist to run new wire through and did not, we have all kinds of wire going every where. He DID NOT MARK the electric box breakers to match what room or appliances it went to, Did not run correct wire load to stove and had to pay another electrician to do so when he would not return to fix his error. He told us we HAD to have a certain electric wire for electric dryer due to code and Tiffin Ohio has no code and does not require the wire he stated and charged us twice what the going rate was at that time. He mounted new electric box on old ugly wood , He was to put electric box in back corner of our basement and did not, it was to be close to the meter outside to save us some money and stay with safety rules. He put the new box approx. 30-40 ft from the electrical entrance into the home. Should of been equal to or less than 15ft for the costs to be lower as per agreement. .One day he pulls up to our home and I saw him so I could not figure out why he was here, he was not to be here that day. I went to the bedroom window and caught him messing with our AC unit. When we went to turn on AC did not work, we were told someone had removed a part that should not of been missing and it just does not fall off the unit ans the unit worked when we went through home inspection. He is the only person to touch the AC unit prior to the Heat/AC provider to our home to see why it was not working. He was NEVER hired to work on our AC unit.!!!! Where did the part go? It took special tools to remove the part. I have called him to come back and fix some of his errors, major error with stove wiring to new electric box. Lucky we did not have a fire. he would not return call when msg. left having issues with his work and safety was of concern. When I confronted him he had his lawyer send me a letter stating verbal agreement does not have to match small print on contract. He also says he is a Christian and uses that to manipulate and get the job!! A true Christian does not have to tell others they are Christian, it shows.
Description of Work: He was to relocate electric box to back corner of basement near the wire entrance into the home from the electric pole outside. He was hired to upgrade the electric box in the home to breakers and increase 100amps to 200 amps. he was to put put the electric wires through floor joist by drilling through them vs attaching wire to the bottom of them. He was hired to run a certain type of electric wire to dryer, he said code had changed. He asked to put a small pump on furnace to remove water to a drain across the room vs a hose doing the job. He was to coordinate with AEP Ohio for digging and burying the electric wire to our home. Estimate did not match work to be done on the contract where he collected 50%v up front \ He was to coordinate with AEP OHIO for the underground wire from the pole to the home entrance.

What he didn't tell us was that he purchased the water furnace system without a warranty and charged us with a warranty price. This enabled him to charge us for all repairs. When he would come in to fix things, he would change switches that would guarantee a service call the next season. He has a very low level of integrity in his business conduct. He also treated me very differently than he treated my husband. He would go into our house without letting me know he was here.
Description of Work: Installed a geothermal system in our house. And then serviced it.
