water softeners
+ -1 moreHe adjusted a timer, and put some red out in the one toilet bowl. We know we have high iron amounts in the water, but use the recommended salt and continue to have a problem. Some people I know tell me they need to update our softner, but Culligan insists even though it's older it's operating just fine. It's a contracted service so it doesn't cost me anything to have them keep coming out, so I guess I will just keep asking questions until the answer is what I think it should be. Their salt cost quite a bit more than everywhere else, this month I bought some cheaper stuff and the results seem the same, so I am happy I will be saving money on that end of things.
Description of Work: As part of my contract, they came out to check my water softner. We keep having the water turn iron colored in the toilets.
