Did exactly what we agreed on.

Ryan and his crew worked very hard for two days to remove two large trees out of our front yard. They also trimmed a maple tree in our back yard that was hanging over the house. Very efficient and professional group of guys. Highly recommend Ryan's business.

They were professional and friendly, careful of my flowers, and did a great job of cleaning up afterward. They did an expert job of trimming my overgrown cherry tree and did it for a fair price. I would highly recommend.

Quick, priced right, and flexible scheduling.

We had, what I considered, a tricky tree because it was taller than our 3-story house, located right on road, and on-top of electrical wires. The expertise that Ryan’s team showed was amazing! They were directing traffic, keeping debris out of the road, and every branch and log that fell landed in the exact spot they wanted! The teams’ confidence put me at ease and they took such care during and after to clean-up. I would 100% recommend this professional and efficient team!

Ryan Jewel did not do what we contracted for. He was to cut 9 trees and removed them. He left 5 cut trees on my property and thought he removed all 9 trees. He removed only 4 trees. I have called numerous times to rectify this situation, but his phone message system is always full and he is not picking up his phone. I do not recommend his company, Precision Tree Expert, at all and the HomeAdvisor bears some responsibility for not betting the business thoroughly.

Short story: be aware of this scam business. Donâ t pay them before they finish the job otherwise they will evaporate and never pick up your call or return your message. Long story: I hired Ryan Jewell and his team from Precision Tree Experts LLC a few month ago after getting a quote through homeadvisor.com, and that job went ok. So a couple weeks ago, I called him and ask them to do another job. This was about removing a mid-size willow tree and grinding down the stump. They came to cut down the tree and left a 3-feet stump. Ryan said they could not get the stump grinder today and would like to do it another day and ask me to pay 92% of the cost beforehand. Usually I would not be that silly to pay them before they finish the job because I heard so many stories of contractors getting the money and never coming back. To let me trust him, he pretended to ask me to refer my friends and other businesses from Athens area. He said Athens is where his company is based. He said most of his business came from Columbus and Lancaster areas and he would love to be close to hometown without driving long distance to those areas. I thought he would not screw up his hometown people by taking the money and running away. Apparently I was wrong. He did not show up at the scheduled time to remove the stump, and he did not pick up my calls and did not reply to my messages thereafter. My lessen here: donâ t pay contractors before they finish the job! Ryan Jewell and his company is just another scam contractor we heard many times before.

The work was done correctly. Workers were polite and professional.

They did a great job and we able to complete the project within one day. I will use them for all my tree trimming needs.

Precision Tree did a wonderful job taking down our 43 year old Silver Maple tree. They were very professional and showed up on time as promised even though it was only in the teens they spent 6 hours out in the cold. We still need to have the stump removed which they will be coming back to do. I would definitely recommend Precision Tree Service.

I gave him a chance to say no, I can not do it for this price. Instead, he said he would do it. He cheapens his work, and did not give me a chance by telling me ahead of time about his conditions as he waited until he got here. I had already told another company I did not want their services because I thought Precision Tree were giving me as good of a deal.

Ryan and crew did a great job removing number of old overgrown shrubs and several trees. They got the job done ahead of schedule and did a great job—cleaned up thoroughly as well. Really affordable and great service. I’ll definitely hire them again.

The work that was done was good. Price seemed fair, but they arrived hours late both mornings and with no crew. We decided not to have 3 trees removed, but the final bill was not decreased for the decrease in work (a $1000 difference). The work was done, but paying for work not done left a bed feeling about the whole experience.

Had Ryan and his crew take down 2 fully mature Maple trees and multiple large bushes for a very reasonable price. Did a great job doing everything that was asked. Only reason for a less than perfect rating is it took longer than expected. I would definitely use them again and I would recommend them for someone else's project.

This is a recommendation with a BUT. Ryan took down a large dead Blue Spruce with incredible precision--there was a lot of potential for damage but if it did not come down exactly where he laid it. He also took out some bushes and a tree within a tree that was damaging my other pine. He did everything I asked, exactly as I requested for a VERY reasonable price. The problem came when he and his crew could not finish the haul away and clean up. He did not come back when promised, and it was nearly 3 weeks before he got back to haul away the debris. That is the reason for a less-than-perfect review.
