Description of Work: I broke the spigot off the outside faucet. I had to shut water off to whole house. 4 other companies couldn't fit me in. Dave was sent over after his last appt and fixed it right up.

Description of Work: They replaced a sill cock on an outside faucet. The charged me 421.00 for it. I saw the same sillcock at a home improvement store for 25.00.

 + -1 moreI contacted J&J on a Saturday. They promptly called me back and stated they would be out at 10am Monday morning. I got a call Monday morning at 10am stating they needed to schedule a time with me. I informed them they already set the time up for 10am and that I needed to go to work at 11:30am. I was then told they'd be there at 10:45am. At 10:50am they weren't there yet so I called again and was told they'd be there at 11:30am, at which time I canceled my appointment.
Description of Work: I did not allow them to do any work.

 + -1 moreGreat company and people to work with. Work was performed at cost of original estimate. Very professional and knowledgeable. Did leave a marred place on wall.
Description of Work: Were called in to fix leaking toilet installed by Homeworkz. Toilet flange was installed below floor level instead of above floor level. Wax seal could not seal. Homeworkz had also caulked around base of toilet so leaking would not initially be evident. John the plumber and Charles their carpenter did an excellent job reinstalling the toilet. They leveled and re-tiled the floor, remounted and sealed the flange, properly seated and sealed the toilet. Why couldn't Laszlo have done that?

 + -1 moreThe plumber arrived, took a look at what needed to be done. He said it was easy and started to get his equipment, until I stopped him and asked about the quote. He then told me $425, because that was the only sump pump he had and the $259 deal was a piece of junk and wouldn't put it in! I hesitated, because that was a jump in price. I told him I wanted to gather some more quotes. He then sprung a $49.95 service fee on me...which was never disclosed! I did not pay and was told by the Operations Manager Jerry, that they would invoice me anyway...NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR FAIR AND ETHICAL BUSINESS CONDUCT. STAY AWAY!!!
Description of Work: Called and asked for a quote to replace a sump pump. I was told someone would need to come and to give me an accurate quote, but the price starts at $259, but was dependent upon my "needs". I scheduled an appointment for the next day and inquired that if I was OK with the quote, would they be able to complete the work? I was told yes they would be able to complete the work because the plumber carries 4 different sump pumps with him.

Description of Work: I had a number of small things done, and when they got done adding up my bill it was 800 bucks.

 + -1 moreTHEY HAVE AN AD THAT SAYS THEY ARE A MEMBER OF THE BBB, BUT THEY ARE NOT!
Description of Work: FIXED A DRIP IN ELBOW OF A WATER PIPE. BUT WE HAD TWO DRIPS AFTER THEY WERE DONE. THEY REPLACED SOME PIPING FOR US IN OUR HOME. THE CONTRACT STATED THAT THE PIPING WOULD BE THE SAME TYPE OF PIPING THAT THEY CUT. THEY BASICALLY JUST REPLACED IT WITH A RUBBER HOSE AND CLAMP. WE WANTED A REFUND FOR THE DIFFERENCE, BUT THEY WOULD NOT PROVIDE THAT.
