This went well.

The bid was about $2000 more than another company. He was just not as creative with the materials as the other company. As I recall the gentleman who came was not incredibly professional and that turned us off completely. There was something wrong.

They did an excellent job. I would recommend them to others.

They did a fine job with the project. I was not home when they came out to look at the property. The left the estimate in the door and I called them back about the project. They did a good job.

He had a good rating on Angieslist and that’s why I went with him. I asked him to add 3 gates and put a 16 foot privacy fence put up as well. He was on time and did the work all by himself. He also had a sprained ankle but he kept going and completed the job. I was impressed with his work. The original estimate was much higher than what I could afford. He was helpful, worked with me and put up a 2 years strategy and split the work. So he did half the work and will complete the job next year when I have the money.

It was a very good experience, I had confidence that they seemed to know what they were doing, it was good to see that they worthy workmen. I felt price was very reasonable.

Outstanding job! Fence was installed evenly along sloping property and looks great. Performed the work exactly as we wanted at a lower price than initial estimate.

They did an excellent job on the installation of the new fence, however they do not provide written (only verbal) estimates and they started the work before I got home from running errands without my go-ahead on the project. I received an invoice several weeks later. The installers were very nice and the project went smoothly.

We need a fence in our back yard. I called Fence Enterprises to schedule an estimate, based on Angie's List recommendation, and spoke with the owner. I gave him detailed directions to my home in Aurora, Ohio, including cross Streets and home phone, and set the appointment up for 9/26/07 at 11 AM, one week after our conversation. I took off time from work to be present for the estimate, but one hour before the appointment. The owner called and told us that he wasn't coming and didn't do work in Aurora! On the phone, the owner didn't hesitate to schedule the estimate when I told him it was in Aurora. There are other fence companies, including Auburn Fence, that I could have called. The owner is dishonest. I believe something came up at the last minute that led him to change his mind. This is shabby business. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Competitive price (compared with three other Angie's list providers). Quick response to request for estimate. Actual cost came in at the original estimate. Scheduled work to meet my time schedule and installed fence in one day - as scheduled. Great work - good business ethics and profession manner.

DON RETURNED MY CALL TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR AN ESTIMATE THE DAY AFTER I LEFT A MESSAGE, AND SET THE APPOINTMENT FOR 6 DAYS LATER. I CHOSE HIS COMPANY TO DO THE WORK BECAUSE HIS ESTIMATE WAS BETTER THAN OTHERS I HAD CHECKED WITH, AND HIS SCHEDULING TIME TO GET IT DONE WAS ABOUT THE SAME. HE SET THE POSTS FOR THE FENCE 13 DAYS AFTER THE ESTIMATE WAS GIVEN, AND RETURNED 7 DAYS LATER TO FINISH THE SIDES. THE CREW OF 3-4 MEN WAS VERY POLITE AND RESPECTFUL. THEY WORKED VERY HARD TO GET THE JOB DONE, IN SPITE OF VERY HOT WEATHER. THE MATERIALS USED WERE OF GOOD QUALITY, AND THE FINISHED JOB LOOKS GOOD. I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE HAD THEM RETURN TO FINISH THE JOB QUICKER THAN 7 DAYS AFTER BEGINNING IT, OR AT LEAST TO HAVE BEEN TOLD A MORE EXACT TIME FOR WHEN THEY WOULD RETURN. I HAD BEEN TOLD ''A COUPLE DAYS'', WHICH TO ME MEANT 2 OR 3 DAYS. I CALLED DON ON THE 6TH DAY, AND HE ASSURED ME THAT THEY WOULD BE THERE THE FOLLOWING DAY TO FINISH THE JOB.

SUPER PLEASED. THE ONLY CONTRACTOR WHO'S DONE EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO, WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO IT. GREAT QUALITY AND SERVICE.

DON STOPPED BY THE DAY I CALLED TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE. WHEN THE PRODUCT WAS IN, HE ARRIVED ON TIME WITH ANOTHER WORKER. BOTH DID A FINE JOB AND CLEANED UP AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETED. THE ONLY MISTAKE I MADE WAS NOT GIVING HIM SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS ON GATE PLACEMENT - BUT THAT WAS MY FAULT NOT HIS. THIS COMPANY WAS VERY COMPETITIVE ON AN EXPENSIVE JOB.
