Two Men And A Truck

Neighbor had hired them to move in. What don't understand why the didn't just park at the road to unload? I say that because the pulled into the drive front first and to avoid the house drove into my yard with the ramp out they were unloading at the sidewalk 5-10ft from the road!? I wake up as they are finishing and notice this, they had drove into my yard to park their truck leaving deep muddy tire tracks. I confronted the passenger of truck #07 as they were leaving to ask what they were going to do? Atleast level it out.... He told me I'd have to contact the office he wasn't going to do anything, as they drove away the passenger (skinny white guy with a boney looking face) held up both hands with his middle fingers up . I contacted the office and was told I'd be contacted back next day before 10:30am. Still have not heard from them.

It did not go well. To their credit, they were early by about 1/2 hour. However, they were gorillas with my belongings. They scooted my mattress and box springs along the floor of the apartment hallway instead of carrying it. When I called to arrange the move, I was told by the lady on the phone that the movers had "all the straps" and everything. They did not use a strap when they moved my mattress and box. I have an antique secretary that they obviously did not strap because the drop down desk part was broken when they brought it up stairs. A pin had fallen out of it and there was a gouge where it was forced out of the hole. One of the movers found the pin on the floor of the moving van. These guys are pretty slick. One of the fellows mentioned that they only had one more move after mine so they could get off early so you feel guilty holding them up for anything. Then they hustle you up to sign the papers stating the everything is in good order. I supposed the damage to my secretary repairable so I didn't make a fuss about it but then discovered that the damage was worse than I first noticed. The price was right and they were prompt but I wouldn't let them move my belongings again.

The first day they were scheduled, they no showed and no called us. They were on time the next time we scheduled. They were inexperienced and they weren’t 100% satisfactory. They were pleasant and helpful when they were here. There were some issues packing the truck, and did not fit it in one trip which added to the cost. Some of our items were damaged.
