+ 5 moreThis was a massive remodel with lots of subcontractors and people involved. There were initially some delays and communication issues, but overall, it was a good experience. All of the subcontractors were professional and trustworthy, their work was amazing, and the contractor and foreman were very responsive to any of our concerns. There was a final cleaning that was a little disappointing, but overall we were very happy with the project get and love the final result. The expected date of completion did get pushed back almost a month. Also, had a couple issues with being short material, but this was remedied quickly.
Description of Work: Moved walls to create laundry room, pantry, walk in closet, and open floor plan with pillars. All new flooring, doors, and trim. Installed new appliances and painted.

When they vented the bathrooms fans through the attic to the outside one of their workers also fixed the attic screens which at one side of the house had come loose and some birds made a nest. They did not charge extra for this. The workers are always friendly, they clean up after themselves and the work preformed is excellent.
Description of Work: Installed venting for bathroom fans to the outside. Also did some exterior work on another home in 2013.

Description of Work: I contacted them for an estimate on a shed and they scheduled a visit. Mike came out and we discussed what I wanted. The price is high because of the 16'x 20' shed I want and it isn't the normal structure. We haven't negotiated what will be done yet but he has been very good to work with.

They also invoiced in 4 parts, and had a good price relative to other bidders but did not and quot;buyand quot; the job. Their subs were high quality.

+ 1 moreMike and Scott from Total Quality were very punctual and responsive. They were a joy to work with as they were so enthusiastic with the outcome of the project. A minor glitch with the shower glass (not their fault) was resolved very quickly and to my satisfaction. They were always eager to please and work around my schedule. I am thrilled with the outcome and would absolutely recommend all involved in this project.
Description of Work: Removed part of a 12 foot wall between tub and shower. Expanded shower size, replaced faucets. Built soffit and framed around shower. Another vendor - another review (Rick's Tile) re-tiled tub and shower, rebuilt shower pan and seat. Splendor installed frameless glass and door.

+ 0 moreThey were good, but a little more than what I wanted to pay. My interaction with them was fine and there weren't any problems. I just had more bids out. I would recommend getting a price from them because they are good to deal with. They got right back to me.
Description of Work: I got a quote from Total Quality Construction on doing my driveway and deck. It was about $2400 for the deck and $4800 for the driveway.

+ 0 moreScott, the owner, very personable, answered all my questions, and knowledgeable (told me that he is a carpenter by trade - measure twice, cut once). The counter fit perfectly -- no big gaps near the stove, etc. Did have a problem as one of the outlets shorted out while taking the laminate off the wall. Scott responded immediately and the problem was fixed.
Description of Work: Took off the laminate kitchen countertop and the laminate off the walls under the cabinets. Installed new laminate countertop.

Description of Work: Scotts team renovated my kitchen added a bedroom with full bathroom a second garage and a deck. The workmanship was great and the house looks like it was originally built the way it looks now.

+ -1 moreSince I never received another estimate and they have not responded to my email asking what the status is on the new estimate, I would rate the entire process as an D. The initial appointment was on time, the representative was friendly, I did not receive the type of estimate I was looking for, and when I asked for a new estimate that would take into consideration my budget, I never heard back from them.
Description of Work: I called Total Quality Construction to receive a an estimate on building a addition to our house for my mother (think in-law-suite). The initial appointment at my house, occurred on time, the representative was helpful, and knowledgeable. I was told that after a week I would get an initial estimate. I asked that the estimate be made in line item so I can see where the money is going A week came and got an estimate that was roughly $12,000 dollars over my budget. Worst yet, the line item estimate gave general costs of materials without starting what type of materials were being used. For example, instead of telling the quantity and type of lumber and roofing being used, I was just giving a line item stating roofing and a price. After discussing it with my mother and wife, after a couple of weeks and other estimates received, I emailed the company back saying that it was over budget, however if there was some way that we can get this project done for the budget I had or give an opinion on what our budget could get us, I would listen to them. I received an email back stating that they would look into it, and I have never heard anything back.

+ 1 moreI spent $3500 on that job. The job went very well. They are very honest, hardworking and reliable. I was never afraid to leave them at home when going to work. They cleaned up after themselves and they were here when they said they would. I can’t say enough of how professional they were.
