Mr Bomar came to our home to estimate interior and exterior paint work and we spent 30 minutes going over the details .He called the next day and gave estimate of $1,900 over the phone.We said bring contract and we will proceed.He showed up on a monday with a contract that had $1,900 on it but there were no details on it.He asked if I would show him what needs to be done one more time and I agreed.As I began pointing out in each room what needed done he began suggesting that I was now adding things to the list.Are you kidding me???He gives me a price,fails to itemize the work and wants me to go over everything again and now hes accusing me of adding items??We got through it.I gave him $850.00.He said he would start at 9 am the next day but he came at 1:00.He then asks me once again to go over the details and I became angry and told him that He was not a professional and asked for my $850.00 back.He said he spent it so I was now on the hook with this moron.He worked 3 days and came at 1:00 each day and then he disappeared for 5 days.He said he was not coming back because I added work to the contract.I asked him to specify but he could not.I then informed him that he had a legal obligation to perform the work on the contract,nothing more and nothing less but it did not matter.He left having completed roughly 12 percent of the work on the contract.I opened a case against him via the BBB and managed to get $312.00 returned after 4 months.
