They came out and there were two things I wanted them to do. One there was a light for a chandelier that does not work. They claimed that they could not find anything wrong with it; but it still doesn’t work. They mentioned that now that I am using new lighbulbs, that I probably needed a light bulb that fit the connection. Since then, I have purchased another kind of light bulb and it still doesn’t work. They didn’t give me any other recommendations or brand to purchase. I bought the deal for 2 hours, but they were only here for about 40 minutes total.

I was not happy with the work they did. They installed a plug outlet. They took care of some wires that were hanging around the house. They put in a white outlet, when I had all ivory. He tried to cut a hole in a cabinet and he didn’t have the right tool to do it. Just one electrician came out and I did have to pay a bit more, because they went a little over the 2 hours.

We had a very good experience with them. They were professional, timely and didn't leave a mess. They did the work they said they would do and some extra work that we had them do. They had all the work done that day. They had all the proper gadgets and equipment. They left once to go pick up a part, but besides that, they were all stocked up. It was a major job and they did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend them.

During an Angie's special last year this firm came and did a whole house electrical inspection..I hadn't started on their recommendations until I planned to have more insulation blown into the attic. I figured that installing the wired in detectors would best be done before the insulation was installed. A technician was scheduled, arrived promptly, worked hard, and did a very good job. He used equipment to remove the dust made while making holes in our ceiling. All the work was done neatly and everything cleaned up afterwards. We intend to complete the recommendations, in the near future. Cousino is a very professional company and we trust their work.

Troy answered the phone on the second ring. I explained the issues with the house to him in detail and sent him the inspectors report via email. He had a technician over at the house in a couple hours to inspect it and give me a quote. Troy called back later that day with a price and I oked the work. By the end of the following day all of the work was completed. Very impressive. Good quality work. I will use them again for sure. Thanks for the great experience.

They came and diagnosed the problem without overcharging me. They worked to schedule the job with the tenant who was living in the unit that required the work. Very professional and also fairly priced. Troy was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks guys,

Use this service at my house and had two people come in and were very prompt and worked efficiently.... but this time it was a bad experience with this company.....the first time set a nice impression but this time didn't!!! Felt was over priced for services rendered. Main reason I gave a lower grade is the person that came out was very very slow in working... felt this person was very tired and unenthusiastic about work performance & very insufficient.

Great. The electrician is knowledgable, polite and price conscious.

Nothing good or bad stood out about their services. It was pretty run of the mill.

I called Cousino Electric the afternoon of May 29th to see if they were available any time soon to wire a pool heater and salt cell system since the pool company that installed them couldn't do the wiring. I was told that they might be able to come out the next day, but more likely it would be Monday or Tuesday. Around 10 a.m. the next morning, Kyle was here and getting right to work. He pointed out that the wiring that was in the pool house was old and not necessarily safe, which we had an idea of prior to this (it was thirty years old). He gave us an estimate of what it would cost to redo that wiring, repair a wire that had been cut when the gas line for the heater was being installed, and to wire up the heater and salt cell. It seemed reasonable, so we agreed, and he got to work. Since he needed parts, he took a lunch break and came back when another employee arrived with the parts, and both of them got right to work. As Kyle was working on all this, he pointed out other issues with our electric panel in the garage and the house, some of which were fire hazards, and recommended fixing them as well. This we agreed to, since we have six young children and would prefer not to have any fires in the house. As a result of these additional fixes, and the extensive rewiring that need to be done outside, both Kyle and the other employee were here until 8 p.m. Needless to say, the final price was almost double of the initial estimate, but the work that was done was worth it, and the peace of mind about unsafe wiring issues was double worth it. This is the second time we have used Cousino Electric, and we will most definitely be using them for all our other electrical issues as they arise. In addition, we would highly recommend them to others. The only reason I gave a B mark for price was that it was a big chunk of change, and we have no real way of comparing that total with similar work (and time) of other companies, but like I said previously, we were very pleased and satisfied with the work done, and will use the company again.

The technician arrived a bit later than expected, but everything turned out well for the most part. Scheduling the service was quick, the company sent someone out shortly after I called, and the technician did a good job on all the projects. Furthermore, there weren't any messes left behind.

We called for an appt. on the 14th and had a visit scheduled for the 16th. They showed up within 30 min of the scheduled visit, and changed out 5 ceiling light fixtures. All work was completed within 2 hours, and our home was left as clean as when he arrived. All old fixtures and debris were hauled away. All new ones were tested before he left. Very pleased with service and punctuality.

The contractor arrived on time. He did a good job and was knowledgeable. My only problem with the company was the cost. I usually get a written estimate listing the cost of material and labor. I thought that this job was small enough it would not be necessary. Before he started I asked for a verbal estimate of the cost. He was not able to give pricing, so he went to his van and called Troy Cousino. It was in the $300 range. I also thought the job would take about two hours, however the contractor took about 4 hours. The invoice amount was $570 before the senior discount.

After speaking with the city electrical inspector, the situation is that the outlets installed were not GFCI but were AFCI outlets which, per a big box store here in Toledo are $30 each. So the charges for the parts were not out of line. Apparently they installed the AFCI (arc fault protectors) to meet suggested codes that may soon become required codes.

The inspection (by Kyle) and report were provided promptly. The report was professional and thorough. Itemized cost estimates were provided for completing remedial work on the problems, but there was no hard sell or pressure. I called to ask questions, and Troy Cousino took the time to provide the answers I needed and was friendly . Still deciding what work to have done, but would not hesitate to consider this firm for the job.

I am very happy with Cousino Electric. They were extremely friendly and very professional. They worked with my schedule and were right on time. I paid $99 for a 2 hour deal that they offered through Angie's list, but it didn't take him 2 hours to fix my outlet and I didn't have anything else for him to do. I don't know how much it would have cost me for the actual service of replacing my outlet. I do know this...I will be using Cousino Electric for any future electrical problems with my house. I couldn't be happier unless they replaced my outlet for free. ;-)

This was our first experience with Angie's List and I've been telling my co-workers what a wonderful experience it's been. We had called another company, they promised to have the tech call, after 5 days I called back, only to wait another 2 days before he called to tell us that it'd be affter Easter before he could get to us. My husband and I were thrilled with the quick response from Cousino Electric. The electrician was very professional and completed both jobs in just under 2 hours. I had purchased a deal pkg for 2 hours at $99.00. He did suggest that we allow him to install a sturdier box to support the ceiling fan and to keep it from wobbling. We had a wobble problem with the old one and was happy to have him suggest this. I can hardly wait to move onto our next project and work from Angie's List. Thank you, The O'Reilly's

It was great. We were quite satisfied with it.

The visit was very professional. Information was complete. Workers were polite and knowledgeable. Suggestions were very good. We intend to go on with the upgrades when the weather breaks.

From their Operations Mgr. Tom, to their owner Troy, and to the electrician Kyle who came to my house, All of them were professional. Kyle worked diligently and was very knowledgeable. He did a lot of stuff in those two hours and I highly recommend their service. John

The work was done quickly and cleanly. My husband was home, so he took care of having the repair man in, and if he's not happy I'll hear about it forever, but ,,,wheeee...he's happy! When I went downstairs it was clean. Thank you, provider!

The young man that came in was very polite, explained what he was going to do, told me what was wrong (and what was right) with my wiring and I was extremely happy about not having to rewire everything. He replaced the electrical outlets with newer ones that are safe for little ones and fixed the light switch. He even checked my electrical box to be sure it was safe or needed to be replaced. I would recommend this company to all who need electrical work done. I had purchased the "big deal" for 99.00 so I had 2 hours of work done for 135.00 total.

They did ok as for as evaluating various electrical stuff. It took long time to get final report and estimate of cost. I will get other estimates before deciding on their recommendations.
