Description of Work: I hired this company to install 11 windows on a home.

Description of Work: Price was for concrete patio and driveway. Put in patio - dug up asphalt driveway and sidewalk.

Description of Work: This man is a COMPLETE CROOK. He is a fast talking swindler and consumate liar. He gave me a low estimate for a complete roof job in June, 2012. He stated that the price was low because he did not have any work scheduled and his crew was idle. However, he did not start the job for 2 1/2 weeks!! As soon as he began the tear off, he stated that the roof had leaked and that there was major damage to the rafters. The rafters were rotten, the insulation was wet and there was mold everywhere. However, he had the solution. He was going to support all of the rafters with 2x4s, put additional bracing perpendicular to the rafters all the way across the roof in two rows, spray a sealer to contain the mold and remove the old "wet" insulation and install new. All for only $2,000.00 more. He then started the job and suddenly had the new roofing sheeting on. Quickly. There was no old insulation in the dumpster, no new insulation, no new 2x4s and no scraps of cut wood. He said he brought the new wood at night and took the old insulation home and burned it. (Right). The dumpster he said was only for shingles to be recycled and no other materials. However, as the job progressed all sorts of materials, wood, metal, plastic and shingles were in the dumpster. Just a convenient lie to cover his lies. The new sheeting and rubber roof were put on quickly for a good reason. The work on supporting the rafters, the cross braces perpendicular to the rafters, removing the "wet" insulation and installing the "new" insulation were never done!! Why? Because NONE of this was necessary. The rafters are rock solid and did not need any new supports. The insulation was not wet at all. Most of the sheeting is very solid with only a few bad spots. THIS is why the roof was covered up quickly: to hide the work that he didn't do and tried to collect an extra $2,000.00 for. This "extra" work was not necessary at all. In his haste this swindler simply put the new sheeting over the old sheeting, being too lazy and crooked to remove the bad sections and replace them, or to tear off the entire old sheeting and replace it with new. He did not put ice guard on the roof as specified in the contract and necessitated by building code. He did not put new eaves on the house as specified in the contract. The work that he did do was very sloppy. Because of the poor work and the lies about the "extra" work that was necessary and not done, I did not pay him the remaining half for the job. He is hopping mad and has threatened to garnish my wages. That's ok. To do that he has to go to court and win to get a court order. I took pictures of the entire project as it was being done and therefore have complete proof of all that I have written. He is in breach of contract and I am very happy to go to court and expose this fraudulent person to the judge with the FACTS. This man is a fast talking swindler that has an answer for everything. Do not be fooled by his "low" price. I was and very much regret it. AVOID THIS MAN LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!
