Superior Asphalt Sealing

Telephone conversations with the owner, Darin, and his son, Dustin, were pleasant and informative. We agreed on a date and they arrived as promised. They did a great job and offered suggested to keep it looking good. I will definitely use them again.

Honest mistake? We requested a quote for sealing, crack filling. He provided a quote for sealing and stated he doesn't fill cracks. As such we decided not to use his services and never agreed to his quote or authorized him the go ahead and do the job. On 4/17/14 he leaves us a phone message that he will be out to seal our driveway on 4/19 and to leave a check if we are not going to be home. We called, leaving a message that we had not agreed to use his services and that we were gong with another company. I sure hope he does not show up on Saturday. Did he get us confused with another customer who had given him the go ahead? What would have happened if we had missed his phone message? I rated the company a C as I have concerns even if it was an honest mistake. Per a phone message from Darin he did get us mixed up with another customer, same first name and last letter.

He did a great job explaining what was going on with my drive way. I had chips from a previous job, whatever he did fixed it. Even though he warned me it could happen again I appreciated the job he did and felt like he actually educated me on why it happened.

Darin personally sealed the driveway, supported by an assistant. They properly prepped the driveway, were detailed and were professional. The sealcoat material was said to commercial grade, and to this layman it appeared to be good quality. The initial quoted price was $350, and Darin provided an Angie's List discount of $30 to reduce it to $320. He said he could bill me, and I could send in a payment, but I paid him upon completion of the service. I'm pleased with Darin's service and will use him again if I have the need and opportunity!

Service was excellent.! Job was done well, on time, for an excellent price!

He called us when he wasn't able to come because of the weather and rescheduled. He gave us a time frame for our rescheduled date and made it very convenient to leave payment if we weren't going to home.

Darin is very knowledgable. So far so good! Darin will be back in Spring to further assist in ?bringing our driveway? back to life. We had some driveway cracks and he is helping ?mend? those:)

Called to ask for quote. Company response was quick. Company stated that they could service my area however it would probably be better to find a more local company as travel and gas/mileage would be a huge part of the cost. Very thankful for a honest company where money doesn't always talk. Thank you!!

I was pleased, I felt like I was using a company that really knew what they were doing. The owner came out to do the quote when he said he would and the driveway was done early within the two week window that he promised. I had a great conversation with the owner prior to them doing the job. He was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and truly educated me about why sealing helps extend the life of a driveway. I have been sealing my driveway for years and really never knew the science behind it. We also talked about driveway repairs and why driveways start to breakdown. This was all also very helpful information. The driveway looks great. I will use them again.

We received a flyer from this company (our entire neighborhood has blacktop driveways) and after seeing their great reviews we decided to give them a try. We are very happy we did. The day they came out to perform the service was beautiful -- but then the sky opened up and it poured down rain. They came out a few weeks later to touch up a few spots that the rain had washed away. They did not want to reseal the entire driveway because the spots that came out nice could crack or peel if they were resealed. We are very happy and we look forward to working with them next summer.

The job was done quickly and well. Looks great - actually like new. Cost was more than we anticipated, but given the quality of materials and the need to do 2 coats, it was reasonable. We were able to walk on the drive within 12 hours and could drive on it after 48 hours. Was a very user-friendly experience.

They were on time and did the work as we spoke about. They were efficient and neat no problems!! The driveway looks great and we would highly recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

It isn't often that I can totally endorse a service company. However, in the case of Superior Asphalt Sealing, I find exception. Darin Carson was prompt with his estimate, flexible in his scheduling to accommodate four families, professional and efficient in the application of the sealant, and considerate in his follow-up. The driveway looks like new. They did a quality job. And they were nice, too :) In short, I would highly recommend this company and would certainly call on them in the future with more work.

My call was returned quickly and we were able to agree on a price for the work based on last year's job. Even though I waited later in the summer than usual to schedule the work, they were able to fit me in within a few days of the call. They called the day before and said they would be out the next day. Arrived first thing in the morning and did another great job of sealing the driveway. They use top quality products and do not leave any kind of mess behind. Very friendly people to work with and I will continue to use them yearly.

Called for an estimate and had a return call the same day to tell me they would call back with an estimate within 48 hrs. Most competitive price with high quality products out of the three estimates I obtained. Was able to schedule in about 2 weeks during a relatively busy part of their season. Team showed up during my window and was professional. Two young men sealed the driveway, paying close attention to detail not making any unnecessary messes. Before starting, the driveway was cleared of debris and grass trimmed. It has only been a day since they sealed, but everything looks great and seems to be of high quality. Darin (the owner?) is the person I talked to on the phone. He is professional and direct, with not trying to sell extra gimmics. I would highly recommend to others.

Darin and Dustin are very professional. They call to confirm when they will be at your house. They also call to reschedule if weather is going to be a problem. They clean the driveway before sealing it. We have used them for several years and are always happy with their work.

It took a few weeks to get it done due to many days with rain putting them behind. But, once they got here, they took time to prepare the drive edges and blow off any debris. Then they sealed the driveway.

They did not call me back. I feel they could have at least gave me a call declining the work.

I called Superior Asphalt on July 1, 2013 and left a message asking them to provide a quote to reseal the asphalt driveway at my home. Per the company's voice mail greeting, I gave them my name, phone number and home address, which I repeated a second time. On July 2, a representative from Superior Asphalt called me at home and left a message asking me to verify my home address because he was having trouble finding my home. I called Superior Asphalt back on July 2 as requested. When I began to give the representative my home address, he stopped me and said that he has found our home and had left a written quote to reseal my asphalt driveway. Immediately after this phone call, I looked for the quote in my mailbox, front door and around the front yard; however, I did not find a quote. Therefore, I called Superior Asphalt back a second time on July 2 and left a message telling them that I did not find the quote that that they may have gone to the wrong address and I again included my correct home address on the voice message. Since then, no one has returned my phone call or come to my home to provide the quote as I requested. UPDATE: Owner called back, offered to do the driveway at no charge. Driveway done very well.

We were very pleased with Darin and his company. He scheduled our appointment promptly (we had been rescheduled by another company 3 times because of rain), and arrived at our house the day he had agreed. The work was carefully done, and the price was reasonable. We will be using Superior for years to come.

They were very polite and everyone who came did a good job explaining what they would be doing. Just did an overall excellent job. They cleaned up so well that you couldn't even tell they were there. My driveway looks great.
