It didn't go.

They did not respond to my Angie’s List message. Would not drive 20 minutes from Sunbury to Ashley indicating it was too far. Gave my $1,000 worth of business for this job to another plumber.

Absolutely great. Left a voicemail and within 4 hours they were here and fixed the issue.

Called them and left a message, but never heard back from them.

I called Sunbury Plumbing around 8:45am on a weekday. I asked the lady that answered the phone how quickly they were scheduling since I had water leaking on my floor. She said she had no idea... nobody had come into the office to talk to her. She had no idea what was going on. She asked for my name and number and someone would call me back. Nobody ever did.

It was fine. The price was fine as well. They did a good job.

Keith apologized for the delay in getting the seals and the finished the repair quickly and professionally.

The valve to the hot water tank failed when he did the work. He left not checking this and had to come back out to fix it. They tried to charge me for the service call the second time. It was resolved 2 months later after I contacted them numerous times.

They're very good. It was over $1000, they're not cheap, but it was a lot of tank and they did quality work.

It was a positive experience. They were timely and efficient in the job. The job was done correctly which was unbelievable and it is not what I find very often. I hired somebody through another company to put a water heater in and that was a nightmare. I don't remember what company came out to do it though. I would use Sunbury again in the future.

We called Sunbury Plumbing and said the leak they had inspected (not actually fixed) was back. They said they would come out that day before 5:00 and would call before they came. We waited and at mid-afternoon called the company and asked when they would be out. We were told before 5:00 for sure. No call was returned by the company ever. No one came out. Just a near $200.00 bill was received after that. We contracted another company to fix the leak which actually called for replacement of a valve. We are amazed the company never returned calls and never seemed to care about this at all. A simple call back to us one way or the other regarding when they would or would not come out would have been professional courtesy.

Sunbury came the same day I called to provide an estimate for a new hot water heater, one with a forced vent arrangement because I could no longer use the old gas flue. We discussed several models that would suit my needs. Installation was a day or two later. The plumber was careful, thorough, and prompt. No problems.

This was and still is a terrible experience. Company finally (maybe) fixed inside furnace, but stated heat pump needed major part replaced and would fix it and see if it would be covered under warranty. After not hearing anything for nearly a week, repeated calls to company resulted in finding the person who stated they would repair the pump was out of state and would not be back anytime soon. I was told to find out who installed the heat pump! This was not how the repair person left the service repair with me. In this entire process I had to initiate nearly every call to find out what was going on until a head person was alerted I was upset. I have not been billed for service so far and question how this company could even send a bill after this ordeal.

They are sometimes good and sometimes not so good.

Someone that had used them recommended them to me. They came the same day. I had found a water heater online that had better ratings and the fellow was actually able to find one for me and put it in at a price that was better than the one that he was recommending. I had no problems with that. He did a very good job. He came on time and called in advance. I knew what the prices were and it came in pretty much what I expected. They cleaned up after themselves and didn’t complain about working in my basement. He was in and out before I even saw him. They were very professional and didn’t try to sell me anything. When he found out what I wanted, he went out and got it.

They have done lots of things for us like fixing the toilet, hot water tank, etc. They have always done a good job. We began to deal with them as they are a local company. Their price was reasonable.

I was very happy with their work. They were fair on price and I would recommend them.

I am still waiting after 60 days for any response to my on site visit and expected quote. This has been typical and is very unprofessional. This company knows how to reach me day or night but I hear nothing unless I call and then I am promised I will be called back and it never happens! Their prices are very reasonable, but the service delivery of any call from them never occurs. Sad.

They have been very good company to work with. They have been in business of almost 60 years. I would recommend them to others.

When I called about the repair, I was told it would be the middle of the following week before they could come out. (This was on a Friday.) They promised to call the next week to schedule, but never did.

Quote: This was the most difficult part. Recommend finding the unit(s) you think is best and then have the company owner appraise the size and style of the unit. For whatever reason, there was zero sales pitch and it was difficult to figure out what unit the company based an estimate on. I had to have the owner come out and redo a quote by a crew that simply recommended a unit while they happened to be on site removing the old air conditioner. They recommended a new furnace after the fact. Installation: Great work and crew...on time and did a tremendous amount of removal and installation within two days. Left some gaps in walls where pipes came in...but over superb work for the price. Had to have the crew back the next day since the furnace was not running right and they had not installed exit pipes right. After Installation: I had concerns about the loudness of the heat pump and a sounds the furnace was making after installation. Still waiting for return calls.

The original quote was for $800, but the final bill came back at least double that. They came in and were trying to find the pipes and spent probably 3/4 of the first day digging in the wrong spot. If they'd used the equipment necessary like they finally did, the price would have stayed as it was quoted. They ended charging by the hour and are billing us for extra work done based on their mistakes. We are still discussing this with them and it seems they will work with us on the price.

Work itself was done very well. We had difficulty finding a plumbing company to provide the expansion tank. Del-Co Water requested the tanks due to upgrades in the water system. Most companies we called would not return our calls or didn't understand what we were requesting. Sunbury Plumbing knew exactly what we needed and provided it at a very reasonable price. Our only problem was having them schedule the service.

They came out twice and tried to fix it. I called a third a time, and told the receptionist that the faucet was still not fixed. She told me that they were out on "a big plumbing job", and could not get to me. Last week I called to have them come out to fix that faucet, a drip in the kitchen sink and drain in the bathtub, and I was told they'd call. It's been a week and I still haven't heard anything.

VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CURTEOUS. THEY WERE ALL VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY COMPLETED WORK IN STATED TIME AND STAYED WITHIN MY BUDGET.
