Everything went fine. They showed up when they said they would. Completed the job as they said they would all in one day. Clean up after job was great..

Tim Newman did a great job. They showed up early and completed the job in one day including clean up of all the material that came off off the roof. The job was slightly over budget due to poor support wood they had to replace. the gutters were checked and Ok'd and the flashing was fixed. I highly recommend Tim Newman for roofing.

Tim, the owner, spent a lot of time with us when he came out to give us an estimate. He answered all of our questions and didn't make us feel rushed. We were sold on selecting Tim due to his honesty, very reasonable quote and customer service. He assisted us with selecting the color of shingles which we are so pleased with. It is beautiful and matches the house colors perfectly. Tim followed through with everything he promised. We had some chimney work needing done and Tim suggested we have that done first. We adjusted his schedule so we could have this work done first. He had a crew of 10 work on our house and were done in 1 day. They did a wonderful job. The workers were very respectful of our property and did a great job cleaning up when they were finished. I think this is the first time we have ever used a contractor and not had any issues. I was so impressed with Tim's work and have shared his company with many family and friends. I just can't say enough about him. Tim is very professional, honest, was attentive to our concerns and did an exceptional job. There aren't many businesses like his around. Kudos to Tim Newman Roofing!!

Tim Newman came to our house and inspected the roof. He told us that we could probably get away with waiting another year before replacing our roof. He did tell us that we should contact someone about replacing some of our cedar siding that was cupping, split, or missing. We decided to have the roof replaced now since we were having some of the siding replaced. Tim got us a quote within a few days. We contacted some other roofing companies and got estimates. Tim Newman Roofing has done several roof replacements in out neighborhood which is why we called them first. They worked with the people who replaced our siding to coordinate the work. The crew was amazing on how quickly they performed the work. Everything was very precisely done. Our production manager, Alex, kept us informed every step of the way. A couple of our screen doors were damaged during the tear out but Alex had then quickly repaired. He also said that he thought we should have a couple of diverters put in steep corners by our gutters so that the rain would not over run the gutters. These were provided at no extra cost. They tore off both layers of shingles and ended up replacing several areas of decking that had mildewed due to the bathroom vent exiting into the attic and not outside. The crew corrected this problem by venting the bathroom vent outside of the roof. They need a little extra time to finish the roof so the crew came out on Saturday and finished up. They left a very clean work area each day and picked up all nails and other debris before they left. We would definitely use Tim Newman Roofing in the future.

Arrived on time and had a very professional demeanor. Inspected roof and gutter system, including 3 skylights for leaks, cracked seals, etc. Reviewed some steps the homeowner had taken to resolve problem. Provided excellent report of findings (no current problems) - did not charge for time spent or expertise shared. We were very impressed and will call Tim Newman Roofing in the future for any roof/gutter issues.

I called to have to get an estimate and Aaron came out a few days later on August 30. He gave me the estimate and stated they could come out the following week to do the repair. We waited a week to schedule the appointment. Initially I was on the call it could be a few weeks, and when I noted that I was told it would be a week, the rep told me they needed to contact Aaron in the even it was something that needed to be done sooner. A call was returned and they did come out a week later on September 12 to do the work. Aaron was professional and did a good job. I appreciated the quick response.

His team arrived right on time the day the roof was scheduled, got to work right away. The foreman Aaron was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable, and was in contact with the owner throughout the job. Their team of roofers carefully tarped all around the house and all roofing debris was cleaned up including nails: once they were finished cleaning, it was totally impossible to see that they had even been there. I have extensive landscaping in the front yard and none of it was damaged at all. The crew worked hard all day and were finished right around 5 pm, on the same day. Our new roof looks great and we have many compliments from the neighborhood. Also, during the tear off our gutters fell off because the area where the gutters attach had rotted through and Tim's team nailed them all back on for us. Im glad I chose their company not only because the job went so smoothly, but I felt comfortable with Tim, he explained everything and answered all of my questions, and is friendly and professional. They were a pleasure to work with from the scheduling of the estimate, the estimate itself, and the roofing job, and proved to have a high level of integrity. We will be hiring them again in future, to replace our gutters as well. I highly recommend them due to their integrity and honesty, and excellent quality work.

The job was a two day job. Overall it was a great experience. The crew worked into the evening the first night and did not allow enough time for a good cleanup. I expressed this to Alex and Tim. Tim apologized that it should have been cleaned up better. The final cleanup was good and no problems. I did not like the color of the drip edge and expressed to Alex. I had house paint and Alex and another crew member painted the drip edge to match the house taking care not to get paint on the new shingles. Above and beyond the call. I am very pleased with the job Newman Roofing did and would highly reccomend them to all.

Great comunication and follow through. Tim and his project manger Alex kept me informed throughout the entire process. We worked through a few challenges with my install without any additional costs. The dormer installation is awesome. A true transformation for our house.

Tim Newman Roofing is awesome! Even though this was not a big job for them, it was a real pain for me. My roof was leaking and i needed it fixed right away. They understood my dilemma and could not have performed any better. They were prompt. professional and even had a great price! Our gutters weren't draining right and Tim's repair crew leader, Alex, came out and did a complete walk around with me to assess the problems. No pressure, very professional. Even returned to the site to put on a couple guards that they didn't have on their truck when they did the repairs. This is the second time we have used Tim Newman (first was for our roof) and both have been great experiences. Would highly recommend these guys...very trustworthy!

My experience with Tim Newman Roofing went well from beginning to end. After my initial phone call, Tim was prompt in setting up a time and coming to give me an estimate. He indicated it would be 2-3 weeks before they would get to my job and I was pleasantly surprised when they got to my job ahead of that projected date. The 7 man crew arrived on Monday at approximately 7:30 A.M. and worked a long day (on a very hot day). The next day a smaller crew of two returned and worked around 3 hours to finish the job and clean up. Tim came the following day to check the job and gauge my satisfaction.

The roofers arrived promptly at the time specified and immediately started on the roof. They completed tear off, installation and clean up in 6 hours. Everything was done exactly as promised. We are extremely happy with the work performed.

Tim and his team did a great job on the roof. They took just two days to completely replace the roof (and we have a lot of roof) and enhance the gutters with leaf protection. I felt that Tim was open and honest about the process and when we got competitive bids his was right in the ballpark (and cheaper than Able, who was surprisingly expensive and proposed using non-standard materials).

We scheduled an appointment with Tim, and he provided us with an initial estimate. Upon visiting our home and seeing the additional issues and work that would be required he submitted an updated estimate. We received another, comparable estimate for the work, but we were very impressed with Tim, his honesty, and his recommendations to make improvements that would be both aesthetic and functional. He immediately noticed issues that the other company did not mention, and he did his very best to make sure that there were not surprises along the way. Our house is old, and some of the work done on it in the past was pretty bad, so there usually are some surprises, but Tim really did his best to mitigate them and let us know before accepting his bid what we could expect in terms of the cost and work involved. Once we accepted the bid and Tim received the required permits, the work began. We live in a ranch style house, so there was a lot of square footage to address. The roofing component of the project too approximately three days to complete. Tim's crew worked non-stop, and they were extremely polite. We were very impressed with the carpentry skills of some of the crew members. They were able to straighten out sloping areas along our roof line and re-nailed all of the old planks that were still in good condition. We were very pleased with the completed roof and the shingles that Tim helped us select. We had a basic idea of the color that we wanted, but Tim made some suggestions that helped us to decide. Once the roof was completed, a different crew came to add soffit ventilation and replace the soffits, the trim fascia, and the gutters. They did a very good job. Finally, a mason came and replaced the stone on our chimney with a Pennsylvania ledge stone. Tim suggested this particular stone and gave us the company's information. We were sold the minute we saw it and are even happier now that it is installed. Tim and his crew were very responsive to our questions and kept us in the loop as far as the status of the project and the work they were doing. Based on the condition of our roof we knew that this was going to be a costly and extensive project. We wanted a company that was reliable and would do the job right. We felt comfortable with our decision to hire Tim and as the project progressed we knew that we had made the right choice. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family. Furthermore, we will not hesitate to use their services in the future.

I am impressed with this company. They responded to the house, looked at the problem and was able to have it fixed within a short period of time.

The owner provided an estimate and took the time to discuss the process in detail. He also followed up with a phone call to answer any questions. The job foreman was aware of all the details discussed with the owner and kept us informed on progress. The crew was on time and efficient.

The organization I work for needed to replace the roofs on 2 of our buildings. I called 3 of Angie's List A rated roofing companies for quotes.All were responsive and professional. Tim's price was a little more competitive. He came in to meet with us and was able to work with our open hours (open to the public from 9-9 during the week) so no patrons/staff would encounter roofing debris. Each building was done in a day. Our staff/maintenance are very pleased with the process and the clean up.Tim called after each job to let me know how things went and to make sure we were happy with the install.I will use Tim Newman Roofing again.

He did excellent. Good products and service. Cleans up after himself. He actually did it for less than I thought. He was a very honest worker.

Tim's crew did a great job. They showed up early and worked late on consecutive days. They answered my questions and were polite and professional. They cleaned up afterwards. The new roof looks great. Tim called on the first day to advise me on a change that really improved the look of the roof. There were also a few hidden issues with the roof that Tim identified for me and helped me to resolve. His crew overlooked one or two small items but Tim came out and took care of them the next day. I received three quotes for the job. Tim's was competitive - not the lowest, but in the range of the other two. I'd use him again in a heartbeat.

It was great. It was fabulous. Part of the price was paid by insurance. We would absolutely use him again.

Tim is committed to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship! His crew is very professional and even worked late because of a sudden change in the next day's forecast. Tim was apologetic to have them working into the evening, but we were relieved that he wasn't going to leave until the exposed roof was done properly. While Tim's quote wasn't the cheapest, his was straightforward (as opposed to another company which I later found out from the salesman was a negotiation tactic, not actual price.) We did experience a small leak under the chimney flashing about a month after the job was completed. The unexpected heavy rainfall during the roofing process had prevented the flashing adhesive from sealing our chimny's facade. Tim took full responsibility and extra precautions to ensure it can't happen again. I fully endorse Tim and his company as honest, reliable and skilled!

I selected him from Angie's List because he had good ratings. I would definitely use them again.

He came out, walked our very steep roof and checked it out. He then called and gave me a very detailed verbal report of what he found. It helped us a lot in determining where we went with our insurance, etc. He was extremely professional and helpful even knowing he wasn't likely to get a roofing job from us. We were happy with the roofing company we selected and felt we were too far down the process to make a change but would very definitely recommend Tim to others.
