Tim and his crew did a great job for us. We had 5 roofing contractors look at our roof. Tims price was very competitive and was the only one to offered numerous (we called with alot of questions) times to stop out and place a nice size sample of the shingles (2 seperate colors on our roof). Not nailed but just laid them there, it really helped us to decide, nice to see them in different lights of the day, and larger than a normal sample. The crew was a hard working, polite, NON-SMOKING and singing at 5:00 on a 90degree day, talk about a work ethic. Wilbur was the crew leader an did a great job building a cricket in a difficult spot and the flashing around the chimneys. Cleanup was thorough. It has been 3 weeks, the roof looks great and will for years to come. One thing I will mention, numerous companies send out a salesman to sell you a roof and then disappear never to be seen again. Seems like just another person that needs to be paid and is just selling. Tim was genuinely interested in helping us make the right decisions and everything he said he would do he did and then some. Nice to deal with the owner.

Tim Newman Roofing replaced our entire roof due to wind damage from a storm as well as repaired the roof on an addition that was improperly installed years ago and was sagging as a result. Tim worked with our insurance company on the roof replacement due to wind damage and worked within our insurance payment budget. He also came in well under budget - almost half the originally estimated cost- for the reframing of the roof over an addition that was improperly put on years ago. I chose Tim Newman Roofing because it is a local, family owned company- the quality of the job didn't depend on the crew that was assigned to your job like in large roofing companies- Tim knows all the crew personally and makes sure that you receive a quality job and that you are satisfied. I liked the personal aspect of this company- we didn't feel like just another number. The crew arrived early, worked quickly and did a quality job. There were pop-up storms all day- one fairly severe one that came through while the roof over our back porch was torn off. Even though they tarped the roof, it still leaked a little onto our back screened-in porch. Tim took care of it and sent out a crew within a few days to repaint the interior ceiling and it looks better than it did before! The crew did an excellent job cleaning up- we can't even tell they were there and haven't found one nail since they left. The roof looks great, the price was fair and we felt like we were dealing with an honest company that didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need- unlike a few other roofing companies who provided estimates. I would definitely recommend Tim Newman and his crew and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

The total experience was exceptional - the office staff was knowledgeable, very positive and efficient: the estimator and Alex, the service technician, did excellent work. They were both neat in appearance and Alex not only cleaned up his work, but he also cleaned the stained chimney. We would definitley use them for any roofing work we might need.

I contacted Tim Newman Roofing on a Friday to have a shingle replaced and have an inspection of the condition of my roof. I was scheduled for the following Monday. Alex arrived a few minutes early, was very polite, and communicated well. Prior to going up on the roof, he told me what he would look for to determine the condition (loose shingles, nail pops, seals around pipes and the chimney). He took pictures of the areas he had examined. He showed me the pictures of what he had found and told what he was needed. Some of them had minor problems (nail pops), but he felt the condition of the roof was good for its age and should last as much as 6 more years. He replaced a missing shingle (which I supplied) and sealed a couple spots, took care of some nail pops. He also took pictures of my gutters to show that they were clean. I appreciate the fact that a roofer would tell me that my 13-year-old roof was in good condition. I have no doubt that some roofing companies would recommend a new roof, even when it's not yet needed.

Their prices were reasonable and their work was good. They also showed up on time.

I didn't want to use a subcontractor for this work of replacing my gutter. Fortunately, the subcontractor's telephone number was long distance. I did not want to deal with someone outside the local area so did not pursue calling the subcontractor. I do not feel that this company should be listed under "gutter repair" or "gutter replacement" since they do not perform the work directly.

I received an estimate and they were willing to the job the same day since severe storms were moving in. They were professional and courteous and completed the job fast.

Tim is terrific to deal with. For several years prior to having his company install the new roof I had him out for inspections and minor repairs. He told me each time, "you have a couple of years left" and never pressured us into a roof too soon. We got quotes from him and two others, including one big local advertiser. Tim's quotes were very competitive and his understanding of what we wanted far exceeded the others. His crew did a terrific job, taking just 2 days (and mostly complete the first) - a surprise since it was such a big job. We're delighted with the work they performed.

The seven-member crew showed up on time and had tools and materials needed to begin the work. The workers were polite and performed efficiently. They were able to compete the roofing and gutter replacement within an 11-hour day. They also carefully covered all plants and bushes, and used a metal detector to pick up stray nails, etc. I was very impressed with the quality of all work and the care they took in doing this job. Actually, I've never experienced this level of service from a roofing contractor. As a homeowner and rental property owner, I've seen the gamet of workmanship and quality, and I'm very happy to say that Tim Newman Roofing has been the best!

Company was very responsive and punctual when we requested an estimate from them. We went with a different company for our roof replacement based on the price for the overall job.

Everything was great from the return call to the actual soil pipe repair. Repairman explained everything he did and even noticed some nails pulled up on shingles which he nailed back down. Looked at the furnace chimney which needed caulking in a few places, but otherwise the furnace chimney was in good shape.

They did a good job but it was a little pricey.

Both times I have called, only an answering machine available so I left a message to call me with the problem and the phone number to call. I have not heard from the company yet. Will not call someone three times for service. Moving on to the next contractor. Update: I did receive a follow-up call from Tim. I assume this was an aberration however the problem is being handled by another contractor.

Crew arrived and completed estimate on a timely basis

Awesome experience! Tim came out for the estimate and was very helpful in navigating the insurance process. Price was fair, work was top notch and the team was punctual and cleaned up well after the job. In addition to replacing the roof on our house, the crew replaced some missing shingles on my detached garage...for free! Tim takes no money until the job is complete and you are satisfied with the work. The bank sent the check directly to Tim and had overpaid by $500. Tim promptly sent a refund for the overpayment. I would highly recommend Tim Newman Roofing for any roofing needs.

Tim Newman Roofing showed up to reshingle the roof on the house and the garage. The weather was a bit chilly, but the employees kept moving along. We not only had shingles removed and replaced. We also had vents replaced, boards replaced, and the ridge vent installed which helps with ventilation. All in all we are very pleased with the work done and we get compliments on the roof from neighbors. Tim Newman was very helpful with the experience from the first meeting to all the way thru to the work being completed. Would highly recommend using them for your roofing needs. Phyllis Magers

Tim responded to our call the next day to schedule a time for an estimate . He performed the repair within a week of the estimate. Tim arrived on time and was very professional . He was very knowledgeable and thorough. We would definitely recommend Tim to anyone looking for a honest roofer with excellent skills.

Alex arrived on the agreed time. The color of the drip line did not match the gutters But decided to go with the white just to get it done.Alex installed the drip line and it did not look very good but I was hopeful that it would take care of the situation for 3-5 years until I had to replace the roof. It took less than an hour to do the work and with the 42 feet of drip line the price of $750 seemed high to me. Alex assured me that this would take care of the problem, solving both the problem of the water backing up and the leaking gutter. It did take care of the water backing up under the roof but did not take care of the water leaking behind the gutter. I called Alex and he said maybe I needed a wider gutter but to call the office and speak to Tim. I called Tim and he said I probably needed a splash guard and to call a gutter guy. I was just blown off. They advertise they do gutters. So wouldn't they be a "gutter guy". Tim Newman contacted me and was very sincere and professional in handling of my complaint. I was impressed by his dedication to customer service and honesty. This matter has been resolved and I would recommend this company and will contact them in the future for my roofing needs .I have changed my original rating based on my conversation and meeting of Mr. Newman to reflect his prompt response and resolution of this problem.

Alex patiently and carefully hunted for the source of the leak which was very difficult to find. He was spot on. After he was done, there was no leak any more. While he was at it, he also noticed and addressed a few more issues with our roof. The original metallic thing between the chimney and the roof (I don't know what it is called) wasn't installed properly. Perhaps because of that, we had a crack on our wall next to the fireplace. The crack used to get larger in the spring and close in the summer. After Alex fixed the metallic thing, the crack is no longer so noticeable.

Overall, the process went great. Tim was responsive and had great follow-up.

We only have excellent things to say about this company. The entire job was completed within 1.5 days with excellent cleanup. Alex was our project manager and was great. Tim, the owner of the company, was very involved and inspected our roof twice to make sure the job was to our satisfation and his. We highly recommend this roofing company to anyone. This company is very honest and trustworthy company.

Tim and his foreman did an excellent job in discussing our needs and his recommendations, quoting the project and then following up before, during, and after the project o ensure everything was done correctly and to our satisfaction. The roof looks great and the installation is very good.
