Despite uncooperative weather and other uncontrollable obstacles, the job was finished and with outstanding results. The best service provider I've ever worked with. Very responsive, honest, integrity, always worked hard but with sense of humor. Solved some tough problems and the outcome exceeded my expectations though they were high. All who see it are impressed too.

Matt and his crew were extremely knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process. During the installation Matt identified several problems with the pool floor, the previous liner and even our pool lights. I found Matt to be very conscientious and his attention to detail was awesome. The liner looks beautiful. I recommend Matt without reservation for all of your inground swimming pool needs.

They never returned my phone calls.

Matt strung me along for weeks and eventually decided he didn't want to do the job since I dared have the audacity of trying to get a day and time set in stone.

At the beginning of the summer, they opened our pool and were super helpful. A part on the pump was broken & they came back the next day to replace it. Now at the end of the summer, we have been trying to get ahold of someone to repair our safety cover and close our pool. It has been over three weeks of trying to contact someone to get them out here with no response. Very disappointing because they were kind and we were prepared to go with this company for all of our pool needs, but cannot wait around forever to get someone to respond.

During the busiest time of the year Matt promised us that he could install a new liner and have our pool up and running in less than a month. This was 3-4 weeks quicker than any other company we contacted was able to promise. Matt took the time to take me to 3 clients homes so that I could see his work and also to help me select my liner design. All 3 pool owners had nothing but rave reviews for Matt and his wife Rhonda. Not only did Matt and Rhonda do an excellent job, but they beat their promised date. Our pool is gorgeous! Matt answers his own phone promptly and also immediately responds to text. Matt and Rhonda will be doing our weekly maintainance from now on! Could not recommend more highly!

The job was performed on 6/8/16 and included unexpected replacement of one of the underwater lights. Unfortunately, over the summer the new liner experienced several small tears near the retention bead. The liner was replaced without question or hassle at no charge today (9/21/16). Both the knowledge and honesty of Nautilus are incomparable. Their pricing is in line with the market and they are exceptionally responsive. We are not often impressed with service providers, but Nautilus is a happy exception! We hope that they will take care of our pool for many years to come.

Poorly. I left a message a week ago and never got a call back. I know it's the busy season, but come on.

They were wonderful. Our pump died. We contacted them. They were friendly and helpful on the phone and came out quickly and thought they knew what was wrong with the pump. Came back out with a diagnostic tool to verify. Helped us to find a new motor/pump and then came back out to install it. After getting into it, they found the wiring was done incorrectly by the original company and they fixed that as well. These guys were great. Prompt, hardworking and gave us advice that helped us save money. We will use them again for sure

I contacted Nautilus Pools for an estimate on a new pool liner because they were top rated on Angie's List. I enjoyed my interaction with Matt when he came out to do the estimate. He was very knowledgeable about pool liners, systems, heaters, etc. I liked the fact that he and his wife, Rhonda own the company and complete all the work. Their price was reasonable and their work was excellent. I'm astonished at what the two of them can accomplish after having multiple workers sent out by other pool companies that can't do half the work. My new liner is beautiful and very well done. My pool heater went out shortly after having the liner installed and I had them install my new heater. Even though it was the busiest time of the year for them, they made time to come out and installed my heater within a couple of days and it works perfectly. I love the fact that when I call Nautilus Pools I talk to the person who is going to come out to do the work and it is scheduled right then. There's no calling and leaving a message for the service department and waiting for a service manager to call me back. I've had my pool for 21 years and dealt with many pool companies over that time. Nautilus Pools is by far the best pool company I have had out to my home. I highly recommend them for any work on your pool.

Matt & Rhonda were great to work with. Matt is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the pool industry. We purchased a new liner and salt system for our ten year old pool. We also thought we needed to replace our auto cover but Matt serviced it and we should be able to get several more years out of it saving us several thousand dollars for the time being. Every time I called Matt with questions he never acted as if I was bothering him, no question to dumb and was always quick to respond.

We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Matt and Nautilus Pools. Great price, top notch work, amazing follow up.. we will only use Nautilus for any future pool needs.

Matt is awesome! We are 2 NYC natives that just moved into a house with a beautiful in-ground pool. Needless to say, we had NO idea how to take care of a pool or what do to for winter. Matt was wonderful, he walked me though everything and gave me a lot of different options. He was great at explaining each one and the pros and cons. We went with the best option he recommended to keep our Great Danes from possibly falling into the pool! He did a great job! It looks wonderful and it was actually less then the original quote. Come Spring when we have to re-open the pool he will open it back up and walk us though how to maintain it. I feel so much better about being a new pool owner with Matt on our side! He'll be the only one allowed to touch that pool! :-)

I called and spoke with Matt. He said the repair would be simple. He gave me some advice which was useful. He spoke as if the repair was something he could do and was willing to do. Never did I receive communication that he couldn't/wouldn't do the job. He simply did not return any calls or texts beyond the first of each. I was encouraged to believe that Nautilus would be able to provide me a service, however, that never happened, nor was I given any notion that I should pursue other contractors. I understand how a highly-rated contractor can get busy, and be delayed in responding, but a non-response leaves the customer-in-need wondering, waiting, and worrying. Unfortunately, good contractors blemish their performance by this type of non-response. I must stress that at all times I was patient and courteous. I would like to use Nautilus for future services, because Matt knows his craft, but I would be cautious because of the lack of response.

We recently bought our house and started out with a pool that had not been used for at least two years. When we removed the cover, there was about half a pool of disgusting water and sludge. The fiberglass around the edge was distressed and the plaster bottom was stained. We thought it was pretty hopeless ...based on estimates for repairs provided when we purchased this house, we were expecting that repairs would be in excess of 10,000--more than we really were prepared to pay. We decided to get another estimate since the pool was a major feature of the back of the house that would have to be addressed in some way in the long run -- for resale if nothing else. Matt and Rhonda were great. Matt was an expert who thoroughly answered the hundreds of questions we had about the repair and operating costs. They came out between other jobs to analyze the pool. Matt assured us, after inspecting the pool and equipment, that we had options other than replacing everything. He listed the options available for repairs and a cost/benefit analysis. We decided on getting a liner that would immediately address the issues with the interior of the pool. They came on some very stormy afternoons and worked in the pouring rain to drain and clean the pool. They measured for and ordered the liner. They came back on several afternoons to prep for the installation. He found that our main drain was not working and provided estimates for replacing ($$$) but assured us that our pool could be operated without it so he removed and covered it .He determined that our ladders were actually oversized and would rub on the liner possibly tearing it. Instead of replacing them ,he jack-hammered around them and then re-plastered so there would be sufficient clearance. As he pointed out, this saved the expense of removing and re-installing new ladders and also saved possibly having to replace our cover that was custom fitted to the existing ladders . He arranged with a provided to deliver water on the day that the liner was installed. Once the pool was filled with water, he tested the equipment and discovered that the pump was not working. He bought and installed the pump the next day. With that working, the return worked, circulating the water to the skimmer adequately to keep it clean. While the drain and ladder work and pump replacement all added to the time Matt and Rhonda spent working here, we were only charged the additional approx. $200 for the new pump over what was originally estimated. Since we knew nothing about running a pool , Matt provided "pool school" and walked us step by step through the testing ,cleaning and maintenance of it. Matt has remained available to answer our questions. It was so exciting to see the pool completed. It went from being an eyesore to a beautiful feature. We have enjoyed it and have used it almost every sunny day since it was done. While we did not buy this house because of the pool, it is now a source of much pleasure and definitely a selling feature for the future. We thank and recommend Matt and Rhonda for their knowledge, work ethic and thoroughness. They were both professional and pleasant to work with. The only down side is that they are the company--there are no other employees-- so if they are delayed on another project, yours is also delayed. This added a few days to our project but they were definitely worth the wait. Highly recommended.

He helped earlier replace the liner for my pool. I would definitely use Nautilus Pools more when I have additional stuff I mean the guy everything he quote out and schedulelizes good. He did what we said we want to do. He is always on time and he completed the job on time. He was able to give me some discounts because I was on Angie's list that was good.

We drained our pool in preparation for painting it. It seemed like a good time to have it inspected so we could identify any issues that needed to be addressed before it was refilled. I found Nautilus Pools on Angie's list and decided to give them a try. I sent them an email using the messaging service provided by Angie's list. The company owner, Matt, sent me a quick and very comprehensive reply. He offered the soonest date he had, given how busy they were, and included a wealth of information on how to properly prep the pool for painting. When he came to the house to inspect the pool, he was pleasant and professional. He answered all our questions and offered to answer any additional ones that came to mind in the future. An excellent service provider. Highly recommended.

How did it go? Swimmingly. Truly the BEST experience we have had with any local pool company since we bought our house in 2005. I called Nautilus and one other pool company in March of 2014 to get information about replacing the vinyl liner in our 18' x 36' in-ground pool. I spoke to Matt, the company owner, on the first call. He spent 20 minutes answering my questions in-depth and even offering information about questions I didn't know I had. Matt offered an appointment to come look at our pool to give us an estimate as soon as the ice had melted off the cover. The other pool company said "we'll send you a catalog and an estimate." Just the fact that Nautilus was willing to come to my house to make the estimate was evidence to us that the company provides personal service. Liner prices were reasonable. The other pool company's estimate included a charge for trucking in water rather than filling the pool from the tap but Nautilus said that they feel that's an unnecessary expense for the homeowner. We accepted the estimate and set a date for the installation. Matt and Rhonda were here on the day the promised and explained what problems needed to be fixed with the vermiculite. Due to high ground water levels they couldn't replace the liner on the same day. Matt offered suggestions for landscaping to assist with water runoff in the future. They came back a few days later and did the liner install once the ground water had receded. Installation was completed in a few hours. The next day he came back and removed the vacuum and hauled away the old liner. Fired up the pump and heater- fixed an issue with the pump motor not working right. The light bulb was burned out in the deep-end light so he set a time to come back to replace that. He has made himself available to us to answer our questions after the installation and provided practical information about water chemical levels. He didn't give me a hard time about buying chemicals at discount stores rather than through his store like every other pool company I've worked with. Basically, he respected us as customers and at no point in this process did I ever feel that my inexperience and ignorance of how the pool works was something Nautilus took advantage of. That is a first for us in the years we've been using different pool services Will definitely use Nautilus for future pool needs. If I could give this an A+++ rating I would. ~Melissa Caldwell~

Everything went great. It took a little longer than normal for the trim pieces to come in ("shipping damage delay") and for the adjustment of the side walls ("tool acquisition delay"). Otherwise, worked with me to get the liner in while I replaced the deckboards. I plan on using them again for pool cover anchor installation and plumbing repair/upgrade.

Thye gave me an estimate but I probably won't be building at the new site until my exsiting home sells.

Matt came right when scheduled and worked quickly and efficiently. He is always polite and helpful about what next steps I should take to get the pool chemistry in line after opening. I appreciate all of his experience and knowledge.

Matt responded quickly to our service call when we had an issue with our chlorine generator which was not producing chlorine. It turned out the cell was bad and needed replaced. Fortunately, the system was just inside the warranty. Matt facilitated the replacement of the cell with the manufacturer and then came over to replace the cell as soon as the shipment arrived.
