I AM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH WATER COMING THROUGH THE WINDOWS AND DAMAGING THE WOOD. I CONTACTED THE COMPANY WHO CAME AND SAID "YES, THERE IS A PROBLEM". THEN, WHEN HE GOT BACK TO THE COMPANY, HE CALLED BACK TO TELL ME IT WAS THE HUMIDITY IN MY HOUSE CAUSING THE PROBLEM. I HAD THE HUMIDITY CHECKED, AND IT WAS AT 32%. I JUST WOULD LIKE MY WINDOWS FIXED. NOW THAT IT IS WINTER AND THE COLD AIR IS COMING IN THE WINDOWS CONTINUE TO LEAK AND THE WINDOWS DRIP AND LEAVE PUDDLES OF WATER; DAMAGING THE TRIM. ANOTHER INSPECTOR IS TO COME AND I STILL HAVE HEARD NOTHING. I HAVE A LIFETIME WRITTEN TRANSFERABLE WARRANTY. I AM GOING TO NEED ALL NEW WINDOWS. THE COMPANY IS NOT WILLING TO STAND BY ANY OF THE WORK OR DAMAGES. I WAS TOLD IF THE COMPANY DID REPLACE THE WINDOWS I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE INSTALLATION AND THEY WOULD JUST DROP OF THE WINDOWS.( TOLD THIS WHEN THEY GAVE AN EXCUSE OF THE HUMIDITY). I CAN'T FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB BECAUSE THE COMPANY IS BASED OUT OF CANTON, OH.
Description of Work: PURCHASED WINDOWS. IT TOOK THE COMPANY A MONTH TO COME AND INSPECT. I HAD MY HOME INSPECTED FOR HUMIDITY AND IT IS FINE.

Windows were ordered by our authorized dealer in Indianapolis who sold them to their customer, a contractor who also installed them. Ongoing complaints from consumer have resulted in numerous trips by multiple parties of the contractor, authorized dealer and factory reps to the consumer's home for inspection and the results have always been the same. Installation is excellent and there is no water or air leakage from the outside. In-home humidity is causing moisture to form on cooler surfaces because of the tight seal of the windows. Consumer has been provided with recommended solutions and warranty is intact.
