Sorriento's Sewer Drain and Jet Cleaning Service

Description of Work: First off, I would like to say that I HAD really liked this company in the past. This was a family business and the Father was GREAT, really, really liked him. He was very kind and courteous and he was compassionate enough to give me a discount on several different occasions because I am a single Mom. That meant the world to me! The Father's name was Mike and he had SO much integrity. When your main drain is clogged they unclog it. Well on July 23, 2014, I realized that my laundry room drain was backed up. I called Sorriento's and it sounded like the son was taking my call. They were not able to come until the next day. We couldn't flush the toilet or run ANY water in the house without it causing the water to rise in our laundry room, but hey, I got it, they have a full schedule. Nothing I could do but pray and wait. So over night the water goes down but started to rise again when we run water. They arrive the next day. I only see the son. He is calling me sweetie and hon or honey or something like that. If the Father had called me "hon" I wouldn't have cared because he was just so sweet, but coming from the son (Mike Jr???) it just seemed creepy, condescending and it p***** me off each time he did it. I couldn't help wonder where the Dad was and I was starting to think he was ill. I soon found out that he had passed away suddenly approximately 1 month before. I felt terrible!!!!! I was so sad. So the son snaked my laundry room drain and completely cleared any blockage. And I was so afraid that the back-up was from my kitchen drain that I had him snake that too. But the son was really of no help in telling me what the problem was or what I should or shouldn't do. I think he just wanted me to know what I wanted done, tell him to do it or not and collect his money and get the heck out of there. So I figured he was still grieving and my drain was clear and working so everything was good. Right? Wrong!!! Less than 1 month later the SAME drain was ALL backed up again and seemed even worse!!!! How could that be???? I called Sorriento's on August 16, 2014 with an Emergency and he told me he couldn't come out until the next day. It was a Saturday, late afternoon and he had a wedding to go to. Again, I understood that he had plans but he was SO unhelpful! Didn't offer anyone for me to call to get immediate help. I was not happy. And I asked if there would be no charge if he came back out because he was there less than a month ago and he implied that he would charge me again. It depended on what he needed to do. WHAT!?!?!? So I told him no to coming out the next day and that I was going to try to find someone that could come out that night. It didn't happen. But the next day I did have Mr. Rooter come out and ON THE PHONE they tell me that since my house is SO old, built in 1958, that is was not adviced to have my main drains "snaked out" EVER because they can destroy the pipes that are buried under/in my basement floor. OMG!!!! That is exactly what Sorriento's DID! Mr. Rooter came and used high powered jet water pressure to unclog my drain and then they put a camera down the drains in my basement floor and the pipe in one part of the floor was still intact but the section of pipe that the Sorriento SON had just cleaned was completely bottomed out. The bottom of that pipe was GONE! Completely destroyed! Now I will have to pay to have my basement floor dug up and the pipes need replaced. Thanks a lot Sorriento's Sewer and Drain Cleaning Service, LLC!!! Thanks for the $8,000 bill that I now have looming over my head that I cannot pay AND more pipe pieces continue to cause clogs so I have had to have Mr. Rooter come back out to clear it. But I have a warranty now and it is covered. Anyway, don't use Sorriento's ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE AN OLDER HOME!!!! It will just cost you more in the long run. The Dad was Great and may he rest in peace but the son is a jerk and only looks out for himself, not what's best for the customer. Thanks! (And also, I don't know about the "jet service" in the name. It is not listed that way on my bill and there was no mention on using a jet when my work needed done. Maybe they have upgraded to avoid ruining other people's pipes too???)
