lawn mower repair
 + -1 moreMy daughter and I brought in Toro lawnmower on Saturday to have cable replaced (at that point Mike was condascending) was told - would look at it on Monday and call me - on Monday I called late in the day - was told by Mike needs cable would be Wednesday or Thursday - Mike calls back a few minutes later and informs me cable is on backorder and would not have until following Monday (this would be one and a half weeks he would have my mower). I asked if there were any other places to get the "backorder" cable and was informed - no. I was then quoted $98.00 to replace the cable. I informed Mike I felt he was ripping me off and taking advantage of me and that I was not happy with his service, that one and a half weeks is unacceptable to have my lawnmower to replace a basic cable. This is a very common toro recycler lawnmower - nothing fancy - parts are easy to get. I then called another repair shop, was told he did not have cable in stock would get it the following day. The cable on my mower will be replaced tomorrow and the cost will be less than $50.00.
Description of Work: Nothing - was supposed to replace cable on lawnmower - I ended up picking up my mower and taking to another repair shop.

 + -1 moreThey do a good job for a fair price. They are very nice people there. I have never had a problem with them with regard to quality. They take me right away when I call them. The car was ready when they said it would be. Their professionalism was very good. They happen to be right around the corner from where I work, but they have always been good and done excellent work.
Description of Work: I use Weber & Son Service Repair, Inc. for auto service. On my last visit there, the engine light was on in my car and they took care of it. They had to flush out my fuel pump, because the car had over 80,000 miles on it. I have been using them for probably 30 years. Whenever my tire is out of warranty, I go to them.

 + 0 moreWe have been using them for approximately 20 years. They are very responsive; they get the cars in and out very quickly. They are professional and they know what they are doing. They can work on domestic and foreign cars equally well. They also work on lawnmowers and snow blowers. When you bring your car in to be serviced, they will drop you off at home while the car is being worked on and then come and get you when it is finished.
Description of Work: We were there last for regular car maintenance.

 + -1 moreTHIS COMPANY IS ONE OF THE FEW IN THE IMMEDIATE AREA THAT CAN WORK INDOORS ON AN IMMENSE RV. A VEHICLE OWNER WHO NEEDS HIS/HER WHEELS BACK VERY FAST SHOULD CONSIDER THIS COMPANY, SINCE THEY HAD OUR REPAIR JOB COMPLETED IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS.
Description of Work: OUR 1994 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN HAD INCREASING TROUBLE STARTING OVER A NUMBER OF WEEKS AND WE WERE CONCERNED IT WOULD LEAVE US STRANDED. A CAR-WISE FRIEND CONFIRMED OUR SUSPICIONS THAT THE STARTER WAS ABOUT TO FAIL, AS THE BATTERY WAS NEW. WE TOOK THE VAN TO WEBER & SON LATE ON A WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. THEY REPLACED THE STARTER AND RETURNED THE VAN TO US IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON THE NEXT DAY. NO STARTER TROUBLE SINCE THEN. THERE WAS A 5% DISCOUNT FOR BEING MEMBERS OF AAA.
