The Deck Doctor House Medic & Painting Too

Terry and his crew were awesome. Our deck was severely weathered and needed some TLC. We hired the Deck Doctors to replace some boards and bring the deck back to life. We normally wash and stain our own deck, but the difference is night and day when you have professionals do it. The crews mostly worked when we weren't home, but I met them and they were very friendly and professional. They moved furniture off the deck and moved everything a few feet away from all structures. They were able to replace several warped boards, even though our canopy was attached to them. On painting day, they taped and masked everything around up to six feet, and sprayed two coats of solid stain. The color is so consistent from the spray technique, even in little nooks and crannies. They got the latices and every bit of wood, so the deck looks amazing. You can see some before and after pictures below. They don't do justice to how much better the deck looks. Very well. Terry came to give us an estimate and when the weather dried up the workers arrived by 9 a.m. (about 10 days later). They power washed the deck. A couple days later, they came back to replace the railing boards. The next sunny day they came back to sand and paint the deck, railing and lattice work under the deck. They carefully taped plastic sheeting on the walls of the house and over the air conditioning condenser. They were very efficient and were finished in 4. Hours. They cleaned up thoroughly and quietly. We took the plastic down ourselves the next day after the paint on deck floor dried sufficiently. Overalll, we were very happy with the respect they showed us and the quality of their work.

I had two wooden decks. He cleaned and sealed them both. One was a opaque seal and one a stain. There was a little overspray on my grass and some plants, but otherwise everything was neat and tidy. They moved and covered some furniture and a car that we couldn't move out of the way. I thought it was a great deal for the money

Project was done within I believe 10 days. The employees who did the job were excellent. Took their time and taped off everything being careful to not damage any of our landscaping. Highly satisfied

I was very happy with Protect A Deck. I asked them to refinish my deck at the beginning of Spring. Terry came right out to look at the deck and even offered to help me move my grill off of the deck. He told me that he would probably be out sometime in the next week to refinish it. He did refinish it that week and it looks great. I'm very happy with the service that I received.

Both the carpentry work and the painting staining work were performed in a very professional manner. We were impressed that they used appropriate required safety care. Bottom line, excellant work at a fair price.

Everything went okay overall. My deck was power washed first, then sprayed the next week. I was not at home either time. I could not tell that my deck was painted with anything. I called and they sent someone else out to paint it. Looked much better the second time around. I see one spot that was missed, but not a big issue. I would higher then again. They sent someone out without any issues.
