Safehouse Solutions

Safehouse Solutions did extensive work on my entire home from which they had to remove drywall from the ceilings and walls. They did a poor job of covering my belongings (see pictures). Things had to be moved multiple times but should have been recovered. They did not cover floors properly either (see pictures). The workers worked only a few hours a day (even though I left the house vacant for them). Neither Nancy or Michael were aware of the lack of progress until I informed them. This was near the deadline for my project. I was never given a estimate from the painter. Nancy only told me how much he was charging but never gave me a written estimate. The texture to my ceilings was not the correct one I requested. When they removed shelves and pictures from walls they did not keep the screws with the items for rehanging. Two of the bedroom ceilings are horribly redone (picture). Nancy told me "that's the best they could do with the texture" and then told me if I wanted it fixed properly I would need a drop ceiling and that would be an additional cost to me. I had a contractor out to evaluate and he stated it could be fixed. Nancy than denied saying she ever said that to me. I had many questions and concerns which she was supposed to address with me but would not. Nancy often contradicts herself. Both Michael and Nancy talk over you when you have concerns. Her painters painted over dust on walls and doors. The paint in one of the rooms has oil streaks in it from not being stirred prior to painting. Also a month later the paint in one room is beginning to chip. The team was supposed to place all furniture back to the original spot/room but they failed to do that in my living and dining rooms. They left several sheets of drywall in my home for days and drywall mud/sand and paint in my garage for 3 weeks. She sent me a bill even though these items were still in my garage. How could my bill have been accurate when all the product was at my house. I never got any compensation for storing these items for her or even an apology for the inconvenience. Nancy does not accept accountability for the mistakes that her team has made. She just keeps sending you a reminder to pay the bill. I also got headaches, frustration and felt most of my concerns were ignored by Safehouse solutions.

First contact in late August 2021. They said it would take 3-4 days to demo and get rid of any mold. 3 days turned into a couple months. This entire time we have no sink, no dishwasher, and the kitchen was sealed. Couldn't use the kitchen. Next was repairing everything. Which includes fixing about a 12' by 5' section of hardwood floor, reinstalling cabinets, reinstall counters, sink, dishwasher (they weren't damaged, the floor expanded pushing the cabinets up and splitting the counter at a seam). We went days and days and days with no contact. My wife would occasionally check in. It seemed to us they were trying as hard as possible to get as much out of the insurance company as possible, instead of getting the project done. Eventually in about the middle of this January, they said they would no longer work with us because we were trying to micromanage them. Again, first contact was in August. They are literally halfway done in January. Thats 5 full months to fix, what I think any handy man could fix in a week. We built our house in 90 days. We still cannot use our kitchen. Now we have to start from scratch because they abandoned the project. Our insurance contact assumed the job was complete a couple times. He couldn't believe how long it was taking. In fact, he eventually closed the claim. We had to reopen the claim in order to get someone else to complete the job. Run

This company is very professional and responsive to your needs. I feel such a great relief to have Safehouse Solutions take care of my bathroom. This company stepped in and fixed problems that the previous company did incorrectly. Mike Daddario safely and correctly removed the mold caused by a leak in my bathroom. Nancy Sharber not only coordinated the project , she kept me informed at all times and she handled the paperwork for my insurance company to release payment. I highly recommend this company.

They were amazing. I’ve used them in the past as well in a previous home and their service is top-notch! They were efficient and professional and their #1 concern was the safety of my family. I recommend them to everyone I know!

I can't say enough wonderful things about SafeHouse Solutions and the people that work there! We had some water/moisture damage and mold in our basement. Nancy and Mike were so wonderful to work with assessing what needed to be done and scheduling. Their knowledge and expertise was clear with their explanations and answering all my questions. Ruben and Tommy did the tear our and cleaning, and tried to save as much as possible of our finished basement, only removing what was absolutely necessary and cleaning what was salvageable. I felt very comfortable having them in my home, and I know the job was done right. I would not hesitate to hire them again!!

After air tests were done on all 3 levels of the home, black mold was found in all samples! I highly recommend SafeHouse Solutions to anyone who suspects a home has a mold issue. Again, they saved my buyer thousands of dollars by identifying there was black mold throughout the home.
