ROCK BOTTOM LAWN AND LANDSCAPING

All went well until we needed to have our paver walkway repaired. We have been PATIENTLY waiting for THREE YEARS for them to repair it. We have got nothing but excuses as to why they could not come out to do the repair. I even went so far as to attend the Home and Garden Show so that I could once again express our displeasure in person this past year. Seeing that there was no response to repeated requests, I called yesterday to voice my displeasure, and informed them that I would indeed be leaving terrible reviews wherever I can should I not receive a callback yesterday, hence this review! Just wish there was a No Star review available. I recall an old saying about excuses, "they are like ***holes, everyone has one, and they ALL STINK" TLK

They put a couple of drains in the yard in a couple of places. They turn most of our mulching area into rocks. They transplanted some area. They put some extra birch on the edges of the driveway or in the driveway rather. I thought they would get here quicker than what they did. Once they said they were coming, they called and they came and got the job done. I guess in the city you can't start work before 8 o'clock and they were here at 8.

I met with Eric from Rock bottom four separate times to discuss what we needed done and since this was a redo I stressed how we wanted it done right. He kept saying how bad the lawn was and how they would do such a better job, and that it would be guaranteed! The day of the work I was home and was able to watch what was done. I also had remind him of things we talk about that he seemed to have forgotten. They kept stressing that the lawn would need a year to come in and that they would come by time to time to monitor and to make adjustments. I had to call multiple time at which Eric told me that it was to be taken care of by their fertilizer company. I kept telling them, Rock bottom and the fertilizer company, that we had a lot of bare spots and that the lawn need to be reseeded. They claimed it was a bug/fungus issue and that it was not their problem. Funny because both our neighbors had lawns done around the same time as ours, both of those lawns look great ours looks like crap. We have huge bare spots and the lawn isn't very smooth when cutting with the lawn mower. We called and complained only to be told that they would come out and reseed if we pay for it again. I thought it was guaranteed? Thats when he said it was a bad summer for Fungus and insects and not responsible for that. Funny we had multiple people come out for estimates Rock Bottom was one of the highest. I went with them because Eric seemed to tell a good story. Don't be fooled.

The installation, quality and landscaping of my patio was very good. Subsequent followups to repair some cracking and to clean and seal the patio have been terrible. Many calls since the fall of 2012 have not been returned. When I do get a call back, promise dates for quotes have not been met.

.They got the job done well and actually got it done before expected.

As I said abov,e they did a very good job and were very reliable.

He does excellent work. He is very to the point. He is very efficient and responsive. He is very kind and thorough. He seeks to do a professional job and is very cost effective.
