We contacted and hired Paul because of his great Angie's List reviews and we found Pride Remodeling to be every bit as good as their reputation. What a great bunch of guys! We were very impressed with Paul and his crew. Eric (Paul's right hand man) and George (the electrical subcontractor) were great. They are meticulous, neat, professional, and honest. The house was cleaned up at the end of each day and we had absolutely no concerns about leaving them to work alone in the house. They do the job right, pay attention to detail, and are easy to work with. They communicate well, are prompt, courteous, and kept us informed of everything. Paul is great at offering creative and cost effective solutions when problems arise. He was able to accommodate all our "while you are here" requests which included renovating the half bath and laundry room. We are very happy with the results of our remodel and will definitely use Pride Remodeling for any future projects. It was a pleasure working with Paul, Eric, and George.

Everything went very well. They did superior work. They were very honest. After the job was started and they saw ways they could improve their work, they did this with no extra charge to us. They were very friendly and showed excellent workmanship from beginning to end. I would highly recommend them. They are the kind of workers that you don't see very often.

So far I have been very happy with them. They have been very good and very conscientious. They have addressed any problems I've had and the quality of work is excellent. I have an old house so it requires all new wiring and plumbing. I don't have anything to compare their prices to, but I think they are probably fair.

I liked everything about them. He built a shower in the basement since we were going to be out of a shower for awhile. He did a nice job and was attentive to our needs. He completed the job in a reasonable amount of time. All around they did a good job and we were happy with them.

He came down and looked at it as soon as possible after I had had a robbery. The prices seemed fair. He was very clean and efficient. He did good workmanship. He was punctual. The job he did was really good. He cleaned up after himself.

Pride Remodeling was wonderful and I was very happy with the job. It was a pleasure working with them. Despite some delays with the building department they still finished ahead of schedule and I was very pleased with the work.

Initial contact and quote was easy. Our needs were understood and met. No outlandish or out-of-our-budget suggestions were made, contractor did just what we asked him to do. Unfortunately, there was a delay between the initial agreement and when the work started due to several reasons. Because of the delay, some details had to be repeated, explained and drawn out, because it seemed that he never wrote anything down. Once work started, the process was very smooth. Staff was prompt, hardworking, respectful, friendly, neat and left the house each day clean and clutter free. Work was done on some very cold and snowy days in January, but they always took care to wipe the floor and cover surfaces. I asked for a few "while you're here, could you look at this" which they took care of as their schedule allowed. Several nice touches were done unasked for, like spray painting register covers and wiping down cabinets to refinish them. My only complaint was that there was not enough communication between the agreement to move forward with the project and the start of the project. Just a simple call with scheduling estimate would have been nice to receive.

We were very pleased with Paul and the job Pride Remodeling did. They were prompt, professional and cleaned up thoroughly each day. The quality of their work was excellent. There were some unexpected developments that they was able to handle (e.g., changing slope of ceiling to meet marble sheet). Paul subcontracted to a licensed plumber and electrician who also did excellent jobs. They weren't the cheapest, but they did the job on schedule and with few surprises. Overall we were very satisfied and recommend Paul and Pride Remodeling highly.

Vinny and Paul were very professional! This is the second time I have used them. They were well mannered, punctual, and professional. Vinny knowledge of paint is unmatched. He is very helpful when it comes to picking out colors too. They were great again and I have already rescheduled them to do more work after the holidays!

Erik, the carpenter, came to do the estimate April 30. There were parts of the job he did not have knowledge about. He took pictures to show those who would understand what to do. I needed to repair the walls of an attached garage, replace the man door, replace a planter box that was part of a sunroom wall, and level a sandstone slab at the rear of the garage. After a month of not receiving an estimate I called the company. I was told they were behind because Erik was ill, but I would be hearing from them. I still haven't heard from them. Of course I selected another contractor.

We were very satisfied with Paul (owner) and Eric's work. They were professional and promptly returned all phone calls. They cleaned up really well at the end of each day. Having never been through a kitchen remodel, I had a lot of questions and they were very good at explaining everything and offering advice. They worked well around our 2 golden retrievers. They even threw in some extras that weren't part of the contract, like replacing some trim around the windows. I am really happy with my new kitchen. They did a great job! I would recommend Pride Remodeling to anyone.

I needed design help, but Pride seemed to want me to know exactly what I wanted to do. The person who came out said he didn't do design work and didn't use his own kitchen much. Instead, he wanted to pin me down on details about cabinet and countertop materials. He asked me to see a colleague at a cabinet store for design help, but this colleague would not be coming to my house to see the kitchen. Despite my misgivings, I called the colleague at the cabinet store for an appointment, but he took several days to return my call. I decided not to use this company.

They arrived on time; they were in 5 people, which was great since we have small children and needed the work done fast. They moved all the furniture, electrical outlets cover plates and when they finished they put everything back. I also asked them to touch up the powder room (additional work), they had no problem and did a great job. The painting looks great overall, they only missed a few spot in the kitchen ceiling.

Great! I use only A-rated contractors from Angie's List for a reason. Took a bit longer than expected due to delays in receiving the vanity, but that wasn't a major problem.

Pride remodeling did a great job. In some cases, they really had to go the extra mile to get the job done (for example: they needed to remove the old concrete steps leading up to where the door used to be, turns out, they had been poured as a solid block of concrete. They wound up working days and getting equipment from various colleagues to try to remove that step. They did manage it eventually, which, I think, can only be attributed to their persistence). The quality of their work was excellent. For example, to get the moulding around the window and door just right, they examined moulding around our other windows and doors and matched them (we live in a house that was built in 1928).

Paul's professionalism, attention to detail and creativity was outstanding. He helped with the design and provided guidance based on his extensive experience. Most challenging was Pride's ability to match (wood and color) and replace part of the hardwood flooring in the room. While we received some quotes that were a bit lower, we were comfortable with Paul's estimate and truly "get what you pay for". Overall, we are very satisfied with Pride's quality and professionalism.

It was pretty good, they came in a timely fashion, and he has been very good and he has been very reliable, he has shown up when he said he would.

The job couldn't have gone more smoothly from the estimate, scheduling, preparing for work to be done to completion. Paul, his partner Vinnie, and their crews are great people and very professional. They did a quality job. Both Paul & Vinnie came out to look at the job and advised/gave suggestions on how to proceed with my top of the stairs hallway (leave paneling, remove and drywall or paint over). They said it would take appx. 3 - 4 days and they completed it in 3. They answered my questions along the way and the crews totally cleaned up when the job was finished. And as a judge of their character and professionalism they even came back out after the job was completed to repair a wall/baseboard that was damaged when the carpet installers put in my new carpeting (last step in my upstairs project) and DID NOT charge me. They did a fantastic job and I would recommend them to others.

I spoke with Vinnie to set up an appointment to get an estimate. He never showed up on Friday. He called Monday to apologize and we re-scheduled for Tuesday. He arrived on time and took the information he needed. He said I would have an estimate in approximately three days. I received the estimate nine days later. The estimate was quite a bit more than the company I chose to do the same work.
