I contacted Pride Remodeling as I found them on Angie's List. I sent an email to the company briefly describing the scope of the project. Paul contacted me shortly thereafter and set up an appointment for his estimator, Paul Glover, to come and look at the project and give me an estimate. Paul met me at the appointed time and went over all details of the project with me. He measured and took photos, checked the existing drain line, etc. We discussed everything that had to be done including what I would purchase. About a week later, he sent me an estimate. I thought the price was fair (I had gotten another estimate that was quite a bit higher) so I agreed to have them do the work. He brought me a contract to sign and I paid the down payment. He also gave me an approximate date as to when the work would start. Paul Glover worked with me quite a bit over the next 3 weeks to determine the best size for the shower stall. The work began on the day scheduled and continued until the project was complete. The plumbing was subcontracted out and they had to come twice, once to dig up the floor and move the drain line, install the shower stall, and run new piping for the shower faucet and then later after the flooring was in to install the vanity and faucet and toilet. There were a couple of minor glitches along the way, but Paul, the owner, was very responsive and everything was taken care of immediately. I was very pleased with the final result and there is now a very nice new bathroom in the basement.
Description of Work: I needed to have a basement bathroom replaced. I had demolished the bathroom down to the studs. The contractor's portion of the project included some new framing, installing a fiberglass shower stall, moving an existing drain for the shower and vanity, installing a vanity/sink and toilet (I purchased these items) and hanging drywall on the inside and outside walls. I was to do all finishing work, i.e., taping drywall, painting, install new flooring.

Out of the four or so estimates we got from contractors we selected based on reviews on Angie?s List for the complete kitchen remodel (including cabinets, counters and appliances, excluding floor), Paul?s estimate seemed the most reasonable. In addition, we were impressed by Paul?s significant experience in remodeling and the confidence and reassurance he displayed when discussing such a large project with us. He returned calls promptly and answered all our questions. Paul had recommended two different places for cabinets, and in the end we went with Imperial Kitchen. Mark at Imperial was very friendly and helpful, and he even assisted us with selecting the granite for the counter even though we were purchasing the granite from Rock Solid Works (based on Paul?s recommendation). We are very happy with the choice we made on the granite (ubaTuba, green), which by the way looks amazing in our new kitchen! We are glad we didn?t go for the more expensive kind of granite, thinking it would be better quality. Once scheduled, the work went smoothly and the cabinets were in place and the appliances almost in place by the middle of 4th week. They cleaned up very well at the end of the day and always tried to be least disruptive, since we had to go about our activities and had to do our cooking in the utility room adjacent to the kitchen. Paul, Eric and George (the electrician) were all very nice throughout. Initially we weren?t planning on having under cabinet lighting, but George convinced us it was a good idea to get it and we are glad we decided to have LED under cabinet lights installed! They look fantastic! We had a couple of weeks of wait for the counter. Maybe a better coordination among the contractors could have avoided that long wait. But Paul had hooked up the new gas cooktop temporarily so we could use it while we were waiting for the granite. With the work finished, we are quite happy with our new kitchen, and really like the cabinets and the counter! There were a couple of things that we had issues with, though we don?t consider them major: -The initial deposit required was almost a third of the project estimate, which I thought was a bit unusual. -Paul seemed adamant about us getting the sink and faucet from a specific store, though we found the exact same selections (i.e. same model number) at much lower price at Lowes?. He said he had bad experience with the sink and faucet purchased at big box stores, usually they were cheaply made, and that he would not be responsible if they ?broke? during or after installation. We were a bit surprised by this, but decided to stick with the products we picked out at Lowes (I had even called the manufacturer ? Kohler ? to confirm that these would not be lower quality compared to buying the same model number at a specialty store). When Paul?s plumber tried to install the sink and faucet, he noticed that the hot water connecting pipe on the faucet did not have any threads! But I just had to exchange the faucet at Lowes? and the plumber promised to come back to install the replacement faucet. However, Paul said I might have to pay the Plumber for the extra visit, which again I found a bit odd, since on a project worth more than $20K, I would have thought this should not incur extra cost. In the end, the plumber was nice enough not to charge us extra. -The electrical work cost more than the original estimate, but I understood the explanation which was that in old homes often it is hard to know the extent of ?electrical prep? required until the ?guts? of the system are exposed during the actual remodel. We also had some problems with the cabinet ? the shelves for the wider cabinets were warped/bent, one of the drawers ?settled? or ?collapsed? apparently because the original hardware used was inadequate, while another drawer had a problem with the ?soft close? mechanism. It took a long time before Imperial could schedule visits to fix all the issues, though these were minor inconveniences and didn?t really affect our overall impression of the service and quality from Imperial, or our enjoyment of the new kitchen.

I am glad customer is happy with kitchen. But let me clarify a few points for future customers and past customers who understood the makings of a remodel. In regards to countertop granite tops are measured ,manufactored and installed after base cabinets are installed to allow for accurate measurements and walls being out of square. On third down imagine if someone asked you to purchase a large ticket item and they said they require 1/3 down would you not go back to that person to get money to put down. Every where you go all stores require money down for protection. I learned the hard way when I first went into business and ordered for a job and customer backed out two months after signing contract. In regards to sink and faucet customer saw first hand the quality control of big box stores. It was one time for him but many times for me. I have no problem with fixtures purchased at a true plumbing supply which is why I buy there we were lucky Lowes had another in stock and did not have to wait. And as for quality of fixtures you can find one faucet plastic with chrome plating vs brass and chrome plating but called have the same name. Pride remodeling has always looked out for the best intrest of the customer and will continue to do so.

My walk-in shower was installed in the summer of 2008. I have been very happy with it. The shower head fixture came loose. Paul returned my calls promptly and the repair was made in a reasonable period of time. His employee Eric made the repair and was very pleasant and efficient. I don't think this will come loose again. He did a good job. I highly recommend Pride Remodeling. I sure wish I had them do the kitchen which was done before i knew of Pride Remodeling.

The top things I can say about Pride Remodeling is that they do exactly what they say they are going to do, are punctual, and clean up after themselves everyday. They quality of the work was good and the price was reasonable compared to other estimates I got. There was good communication on things and it was very easy to reach Paul. Erik was working with Paul the entire time and was friendly and professional. He cleaned up every day. They sub out electric and plumbing and I have been happy with this work. My only recommendation would be to have a very good idea of what you want when you hire them. Paul sticks to what you tell him to do. I found this to be good but some may be looking for more insight or thoughts about what to do. We plan on using them again in the future and were very happy with the experience.
Description of Work: Pride remodeling did an update of our first and second floor bathroom. First floor - installed new lighting, finished ceiling, removed and replaced tile, faucet, drain, and refinished tub. Second floor - removal of tub, tile, cabinets, toilet. Installed new tile in shower and floor, new stand up shower and faucet, new toilet, new cabinets, sink, added second sink, granite counter top, new lighting.

Even though Paul ran into several last minute requests on my part ("Can you tile around the sink for a backsplash?") and MANY problems due to the shoddy workmanship of the original builders ( the heat duct was too close to the toilet base and was melting the wax seal, for example), he just shrugged, executed his spontaneous, clever solutions to still finish in two and half weeks- several days before his estimated deadline. Actually, he would have finished in two, but because I wanted the deluxe recessed shower area and the last minute back splash, he ran out of tile. To look at his handiwork, however, you would think he and his equally polite and professional team had spent an extra month. I could not be more pleased with the results. In fact, I rush all my visitors straight to the bathroom just to see their jaws drop. They always ask, "WHO did the work?" I told Paul, I had always struggled to recall the name of his company, but now that I've been struttin' around my house for the past few months, I can easily remember to call PRIDE remodeling for my kitchen remodel! PROS: 1. Quality of work and professionalism; 2. Neatness - The area was cleaned up each and every day before I got home from work. 3. commitment -When you are his project, ONLY you are his project, so he shows up every day until the work is done. (This, alone, makes him number one in my book!) CONS: I got nuttin'. PRICE; Paul's pricing is fair, but if you're lookin' for the cheapest guy around, go somewhere else. You can't expect to get prime rib at McRib prices.
Description of Work: Paul gutted our small, dated, ugly bathroom and transformed into an elegant, classy art deco showpiece: He installed a shower with 4 by 8 subway tiles and blue deco glass tile trim. One wall, when opened, uncovered a cavernous space, so Paul custom built a recessed shampoo area that was 1 1/2'w x 1'h X 1'd. He changed out the corroded plumbing, installed a QUIET exhaust fan, an art deco mirror, new vanity, and black, solid surface countertop. In addition, he installed a Memoirs toilet and laid hexagonal tile and a marble threshold. This project also included recessed lighting and the installation of grounded outlets.

It was a complete remodel. Everything was done on schedule. There were no surprises and the clean up everyday was spotless. He went down to the studs and replaced the tile, new cabinetry, new fixtures and new toilet. I didn't have to worry about them being in the house, and they were very effecient. Everything was done on time and was exactly as he promised. He communicated well and was very responsive. It was wonderful. I love my new bathroom.

This bathroom remodel was the second time I have asked Pride/Paul to do work in my house. My first experience was one year ago when Paul replaced all the windows in my house and that went very well. During this bathroom remodel, again I am extremely happy with the work. It is easy to see that Paul and Eric have a lot of experience with working on older homes. They knew how to incorporate current construction methods into an older home and knew how to deal with the oddities of an old house. Also, they are very detailed in their work. When I look at the finished work, I don't see anything that they missed. The entire project took two weeks. During demo of the existing bathroom and throughout the entire build, Paul and Eric did a great job at keeping dust and dirt to a minimum. They always were willing to answer my questions and were very good about keeping me updated on the progress. The subcontractors that Paul uses for power and plumbing did a good job too. Paul handled permits and inspections with the city. I had nothing to worry about or to manage during the project as Paul handled all of it. Now that the work is completed, I wish I would have had it done a long time ago. They took what was one of the least attractive rooms in my house and turned it into something that I will be happy to show to others.
Description of Work: I own a home built in the mid 1950s where the primary bathroom had never been remodeled. I needed a remodel which included a complete tear out and replacement of everything, e.g. floor tile, wall tile, power, plumbing. Paul will meet with you initially to determine what work you need completed. He then will put you in contact with a bathroom and tile supplier. Paul did have his electrician meet with me separately to work out what need to be done from a power standpoint After you have made your selections, Paul will create an overall estimate for the job. It was a relatively straight forward process.

The process went very smoothly, and Paul and his assistants worked very hard for many hours every day. They were cheerful even when complications arose with the tear-down. They were perfectionists, and the lovely results show this to be true. Paul worked with us every step of the way, and made sure to get our approval with each decision, no matter how small. Each day, at the end of their work, Paul and his workers tidied everything up, and at the end of the job both bathrooms were gleaming. He was very easy to work with, and we would definitely recommend him to others.
Description of Work: Paul replaced a very old (ca. 1920) shower, and renovated the entire shower space, in our master bathroom. He also removed an old bathtub in a second bathroom and replaced it with a very attractive glass-enclosed shower area. Both jobs required new ceramic tiles and tiling work, installation of shower base, enclosures, doors, etc., as well as new fixtures (faucets, shower heads, soap dishes, etc) and plumbing work. Finally, Paul arranged for debris to be hauled away. The job was quite complicated and arduous because of the quirks in our old house, as well as the fact that the tear-down revealed what I think was a thick wall of solid cement behind the old tiles, which had to be removed.

In a nut shell, SUPER SERVICE, OUTSTANDING WORKMANSHIP! Paul and Eric are a dynamic duo. They are both hard workers. You can be confident they will be doing what they've been hired to do without looking over their shoulders. Paul always kept us informed about what was happening with every aspect of the remodel. He always returned phone calls promptly. For both Paul and Eric, they listened to every concern and request and responded in a professional and helpful manner. We recommend Pride Remodeling without reservation and plan to use them again.
Description of Work: Pride Remodeling tore out the old shower and jacuzzi, steamed off the wallpaper from the 14 foot wall, painted walls, painted ceiling and skylight, subfloor, tiled floor, built closet where old shower was, tiled new shower enclosure, and on and on. To be honest, they did so many things, big and little, that its hard for me to list them all.

Paul and Vinny were great right from the start. Pleasant, prompt, professional. The painting was done first. There were a couple of items not finished properly, but when I contacted them Vinny and Paul about it, they responded very quickly. One of the painters used my hand towel as a shop rag, but Vinny offered to replace it. In the end, the paint work was beautiful. Paul's work on the counter and bathroom tile was outstanding.

The painters usually come in after we have completed with the remodeling. My neighbor works in retail and brings home a few times a year bags of rejected towels and clothing we use for rags we laugh about how some are better than our own bath towels. The painter thought the towel was one of mine seeing the house was vacant and cleared out already. It was a simple mistake and happy customer will still consider using us in the future and loved our work.

It went very well. They were prompt and clean. They were careful of the existing fixtures and walls. They returned later to install some grab bars that were delayed and to regrout an area that didn't dry quite right. We were having trouble wth our front door lock and they took the time to replace the lock for us. We liked their work so much that I'm having them quote my master bath and hope to Paul again.
Description of Work: Paul completed a two bathroom remodel for my mother. He was flexible with putting the estimate together and flexible with the work once he got on site. We added some tile work, needed a light fixture moved and the water damage in the shower was much worse than we expected. Paul and his co-worker Eric handled all the details very well. He integrated the remodel to the existing tile work in one bathroom better than we hoped and came out to install a vanity early because we were having granite installed by another company.

We had a terrible experience with this contractor. Paul gave us an estimate for a kitchen remodel, which contained very little details and had some inaccurate things in it from what we had discussed when we met. The price that he quoted was OK so I did not even discuss that item (pricing) with him. I discussed the inaccurate items with Paul and the missing details and we verbally agreed over the phone what changes needed to be made to the estimate, in order to make it correct. I told Paul that I would markup his estimate with the details we discussed and agreed upon and fax it back to him (which I did) and he would then revise his estimate containing the details and send me a final copy. Over a couple weeks went by without me receiving the final estimate back from him so I called him about the whereabouts of it. He told me that he agreed with the added information in my marked up estimate, that he had been too busy to send me the final estimate but that he would do so in about a week or so. Finally, he sent me the revised estimate that didn't contain the details we discussed and agreed to but rather it contained numerous new errors and new, higher pricing which had never, ever been discussed or mentioned before. His unexplained and new price increases totaled about $800 (over (about a 14% increase), when you factor in that he took out the cabinet and countertop allowances he had put in his original estimate. I emailed Paul and asked him about the reason for all of his new, higher pricing that had never been mentioned to me and about other errors in his new estimate and told him that I wanted to discuss these new issues with him. Paul called me back and left me a voicemail that said that his pricing went up because his costs, such as his (own) labor and the price of gas went up so that was the reason for the increased pricing. That's a lot of gas and labor money for a 2-3 day job. He also said that he didn't appreciate me asking about his higher estimate costs and that he had plenty of other work so that he didn't need this job if I didn't like his new, higher pricing. I've dealt with many contractors and estimates over the years but I don't recall someone acting so unprofessional before.
Description of Work: No services were performed by this contractor. He just gave us an estimate for a kitchen remodel.

What customer failed to mention was I quoted the kitchen May of 2010 and did not hear back till this year. He asked me to revise quote with changes and eliminated my electrical price which included patching of holes made by my electrician and said he had someone to do electric. I revised quote as soon as I could seeing he contacted at a busy time of the season. Everyone knows prices do not stay the same from year to year. He called back and told me it was too much as he said it went up 13% which is what most suppliers increase their pricing if not higher. He also tried bulling me into lowering price and left recorded message telling me we will see about that when he gets back in town. I replyed back saying that was my final price and he was able to get other quotes if he wanted.

I contacted Paul off Angie's list with a simple remodeling job request, letting him know we had materials, and our budget, which was researched prior to contacting Paul. What i received back was a rude and snarky response, not once, but twice. Creepy. - In response to Paul: About 40% of your response is untrue. i said we'd be supplying materials, prepping the bathroom and doing the painting. Yes - we'd like the job to come in at 2K. It's a 8X5 bathroom and all we really need is tile and a vanity -which we purchased. At no point did i mention drywall or cement board as this is intact. I said we'd like to have the work done in the next month...not a must. I also may have mentioned we had a plumber, but maybe you didn't let me get that far. What i experienced from you was assumption and awful attitude...which i did not get from other Angie's list members....now i'm getting erroneous and misleading reporting. You used the term impossible twice in your two sentence initial reply and yes, when someone in customer service does that without asking the appropriate questions, you are sticking your foot in your mouth. To come back and argue with a potential customer 3 times in email and have to be told not to contact me again? Well i guess you thought my job wasn't important enough...i guess you'll miss out on the 10K job i'm doing this year. in 30 years - i guess you haven't learned that. Pride Construction indeed...drop some of it...30 years of experience doesn't enable you to give bad service, period. response to Paul pt 2: Interesting that you change your facts after repeated complaints. the next time you think of doctoring up customers' requests to make yourself look better, and the next to you think of repeatedly emaling potential customers with rude emails instead of helpful emails, i hope you'll remember this interaction. best of luck.

"Customer's report does not reflect what he asked for in his first e-mail. He asked for a bath remodel consisting of flooring, vanity install, area fixtures, shower walls, tub re-glaze, shower fixtures install, molding, possible shut-off valves; everything but toilet and tub. Also said they would do some of the prep work, painting and possibly buy the materials and their budget was two thousand dollars. They also said they would like it done next month. I replied by saying I was booked for the next month and with doing all that work and supplying materials it was next to impossible. If you figure permits, EPA guidelines seeing he has a 1958 year home, as he also had in first e-mail. With permits and EPA procedures there is already $400 to $500 for job and if you add even $200 to each above item let alone any drywall work and cement board which customer said he did not ask for but is required for installation of tile for any wet areas. What I saw as trying to inform a potential customer as being careful of making any hasty decisions and protect them from an inexperienced contractor was seen as being rude, which my 30 plus years of experience and five consecutive years of Super Service Awards would reflect. I have sent all e-mail conversations I had with customer to Angie's List to show exactly what transpired, and is available for anyone to review but know Angie's List members will consider my ratings based on customers I have actually done work for and will continue to look out for the best interests of all my customers." -Paul Ziemski

This is the first time I have used them. We had already expended a lot of money for work. It was very painful to think that we would have to spend more money to fix the error. We had heard so many good things from Angie's List members about this provider. That was the context of their work. Everything turned out well. They were able to fix the problem. The bulk of the fee was really labor. It took a lot of time and a lot of detail. They ordered a piece to have installed to replace the faulty build, and I went to the showcase. I spoke with their rep, and they spoke highly of this contractor, saying they had worked with them for 30 years and that I wouldn't be disappointed. That was really great.
Description of Work: They had to fix a bad bathroom remodeling job. They had to uninstall and deconstruct a shower curb. We had a glass enclosure, and the curb was installed inproperly. It was rotted, and it was a mess. They had to take the glass down, rip out the curb, reinstall the curb, and put the glass door back up.

The remodel went very well. This was my first remodel, and I learned it can all take longer than you think. Once they got started, they worked very quickly and efficiently. Everyone was so nice, and a pleasure to work with. At the end of everyday they cleaned up so well.
Description of Work: They remolded my kitchen.

Bathroom came out exactly as I wanted, very pleased. Only issue with end result is the hot and cold water in shower are opposite then marked. Paul's attention to detail with the marble molding in the shower was well done. He also did extra's such as removing a stain from a candle on the bathtub I never could make any dent in, and removed the ceiling exhaust fan to take home to clean and paint. Eric, Paul's assistant, was sure the job was cleaned up each night before leaving and many other tasks on the project. So why not a higher rating? Paul completed his work on 12/23 but the glass walls were still needed to complete the job. After 2.5 weeks I had not heard anything on the status of the glass walls, called Paul who then inquired on the order. Found that the manufacturer was waiting for confirmation from the distributor to process the order. From there it was another 2 weeks before the job was finally done. So on 1/21 I finally had a shower in the bathroom. My complaint is as the general contractor for this work and the person contracted for the glass walls, Paul never called on status, never followed up during the 2 weeks after the delay was known. The walls were installed by manufacturer so I had no contact until Paul called for final payment. So, in conclusion, the work is excellent! If you are in a hurry you should inquire how many jobs are in front of yours. Signed contract on 10/9 and job was started on 12/13, completed on 1/21. Paul has plumber and electrician he works with so no problem with those subcontractors but left it to me to provide updates on other subcontractor.
Description of Work: Remodeling bathroom. Removed small surround shower, accent wall (36"), cabinet and vanity. Replaced with cultured granite on interior shower walls and floor, glass door and panel on outside shower walls, built seat in shower, replaced vanity, counter top, and cabinet. Moved electrical outlet and replaced with 2 outlets, replaced vanity lighting. Drywall, painted ceiling and walls, fixed grout on floor tiles as needed.

I am so sorry for delay on shower door .Before I completed work I had to do I had shower door installer measure and was told it would be done in 6 days . My supplyier where I obtain my fixtures Welker Mckee handels installation of custom shower doors and glass walls. We usually install the doors but in this case the door would be waranted by them if they install. Sales rep from supply house house was on vacation and never received fax confirmation sign off to release door. When six days were up I called and found no one covered for my rep and door was not released. I called immediately to inform her. On calling for final payment I did that after I found out they already installed door without calling me while I was following up with them when time was up on second promise of installation was up. I did by no means leave it up to customer to follow up. In reply to when I signed to when I completed it took six and one half weeks for material in. I take all jobs in order as I sign them. If I call customer before and they tell me to hold of because things have come up and material is not in for next job we cannot wait we go to another job that is ready. Sometimes it is a longer job which delays us. I am glad customer said she would go with us again. But surprised with the grade she gave me especially when I asked if she would please give me a report. All I can say when you have to rely on other people in this line of work from suppliers to city rules and regulations you can only do your best and hope they will to.

I pulled two layers of wall paper from my livivg room, dining room and hall. Only to find that it had been glued over paint and plaster. It was a mess that I could not fix and with the holidays coming I was pressed for time.Pride came out said that they could fix it,the painter came out and told us what needed to be done.Within a couple of weeks the work began, they scrapped and primed the walls. They then put a skim coat on let that dry and came back and sanded.Made sure all the holes were patched and put two coats of paint on and did the bathroom. From where the rooms were to how they turned out was amazing, the painters did a beautiful job. What most impressed me was the clean up,with all the sanding that took place was the house was back to new.If I had a complaint at all it was they were a little slow with getting back to me with estimates and when they could start. However overall I was very pleased with their work, and would use them again without hesitation.

On a scale of 1-10, Pride Remodeling is a 12. I hesitate to reveal how pleased we are with Paul's work, in that we now want Paul to handle many other projects (gutting two rooms - building patio - he does it all), and I don't want to have to wait in line. However, to be honest, I can't think of another contractor more worth the wait. 1. Paul's workmanship is excellent. You would SWEAR the new door frames came with the house. 2. When he takes you on, you are his only project. He stays with you until the project is complete. 3. He cleans up COMPLETELY at the end of each day. 4. Paul completed this project in just two and a half days - AND he apologized it took so long (we lost power one morning while he was working) 5. Paul has a good eye. He was working with several doors that had various colors running through it when he chose the color for the casings. When I put his newly stained casings beside the one downstairs door (which was refinished in brown oak rather than maple like the other five doors) I was upset. It didn't match Paul agreed. In fact, he had ALREADY contacted his painter to match the casings to the downstairs door, but he encouraged me to let him hang the upstairs casings and see them in place before deciding if we needed to go with a different color. "What was he thinking?" I thought to myself. He was right. I NEVER would have chosen the color he chose for the casings, but his choice blended with the doors, both brightening and warming the upstairs hallway.Looking back, I don't know if I am more impressed with his eye or his patience with me. 6. Paul is honest. He garners so much respect from his employees, for his workmanship, his professionalism, and above all,his integrity. We gave him a key to the house and didn't think twice about it. More, while I could have found a cheaper contractor (hence, the "good" for price) I know he is not gouging us. You get what you pay for.
Description of Work: After our dog destroyed every interior door in our house, we found old wooden doors to replace them. The doors were exactly what we needed, but two inched short, so Paul from Pride Remodeling performed the following: took out the damaged doors, frames and casings built six door frames hung drywall hung six doors stained casings to match hardware made and stained baseboards for foyer

Contractor himself is very professional and worked to provide a quality job in a timely manner. He was very responsive to our concerns, and went the extra mile when small misunderstandings arose. Not all of his workers were as good, however. We experienced some frustrations with plumbing. However, overall we were very satisfied with the quality, costs, and timeliness of the jobs.

He responded very quickly and well, but when he came out he just looked around and we never heard back from him for a quote or anything. I called him and he finally emailed a quote back, which was much higher than what we expected.
Description of Work: He came out to give an estimate for drywall repair due to a leak in our kitchen that went down to the basement.

Response from Pride Remodeling Co Inc
We never even met customer she had a man meet me there to go over things that she wanted done.Pride remodeling came out to look at not only drywall repair in basement but also kitchen flooring, cabinet repair, baseboard, electrical, plumbing some siding, and was asked while I was there could I give him a rough estimate on a shower added to basement. I called a few times to see if she had a chance to pick out material choices. She said she did not have the chance yet but if I can break it down with allowances. So I did and never heard back till I found this report. How can I give an accurate estimate or have customer say It was too high when she has nothing to base it on.With so many estimates out there we have to decide what customer shows the most interest it getting work done. We try to please everyone we can but I helps to get a little feed back from the customer.
