Ohio Garage Interiors - Strongsville

We met Scott at the NARI home improvement show. Super nice, not pushy. Informative. Answered every question. There were plenty of floor colors to choose. We were able to make an informed decision. The material was more of a polymer type of coating. There was a minor problem with the installation as it appears a section was not drying properly. They immediately sent someone out to look at the issue and took corrective action. They made no excuses, they fixed the issue, reapplied the sealant and it was perfect. Not all jobs go perfectly, the measure of a contractor is how they respond to such situations. The response was perfect. They listened, examined, confirmed the issue and took appropriate and timely action.

The concrete floor in my 2-car garage was extremely pitted and ugly. I did considerable research on the internet for possible solutions and I decided on the 2 coating system offered by Ohio Garage Interiors. I selected Ohio Garage interiors from Angie's list and called for an estimate. Scott came out at the agreed time and he made the measurements and we discussed the details of the installation and what to expect for the installations. Scott was pleasant, knowledgeable, answered all my questions and concerns, and gave me an estimate. I agreed to the estimate and made an appointment for the work. On the agreed day, the preparation worker Paul arrived with a truck fully equipped to provide power for the grinding equipment. The grinder also sucks up the dust so there was not clouds of dust and odor. He then proceeded to grind the floor to smooth it out and applied the epoxy. Paul was very pleasant, and knowledgeable and had several years of experience. Later in the day a couple of more workers arrived to help the process. Before the day was over they had coated the floor with epoxy and left it to harden. On the second day Justin arrived with the truck and equipment needed to put the finishing coat on the floor. Justin was pleasant and experienced and finished the special final coating in a few hours. He then left instructions for how long to stay off the floor to let it cure. I really like the floor. Wow! What a change it made in the garage! It went from being and unsightly dirty, dingy dungeon to a bright, clean space. I am thoroughly satisfied with the quality of the floor. It lived up to the description Scott gave. I don't have any complaints. I was thoroughly satisfied with the process from the estimate to the installation and I would use Ohio Garage Interiors again, and I would highly recommend them.

Excellent experience with this company. Garage floor looks better than new. We highly recommend them. Had to wait around for them the 2nd day because I forgot to ask what time they would be returning.

The crew was excellent. The product was excellent. Arrived on days and times promised and finished on date promised. The cost was a little hard to swallow at first but the bottom is I put up an $80K garage and did not want a do it yourself look to the floor. Once they were finished, it was so good I had them do the old garage. "You get what you pay for" isn't always true, but in this case it is.

Service was excellent. They arrived at the scheduled time and worked straight through until they were done for the day. First day they ground the floor level, repaired the pitting, ground that level, applied the base epoxy and vinyl chips. Came back the second day to apply the final epoxy top coat which took about 3 hours. Job site was left clean.

These guys did a great job. The were nice, easy to work with and they did a great job. Floor is wonderful and looks great. Only time will tell if it holds up, but based on my research, the expoxy with the polyaspartic is the best way to go. Love these guys, wouldn't hesitate to use again and they also had the best price.

The product was installed and was just as promoted. The epoxy coating is truly inpenetrable. Garden hose cleanup of dirt and dust brings it back to "new" condition. The cabinets are spacious, heavy duty and good looking.

Owner, Scott Gleske arrived on time for the estimate on refinishing my garage floor. He showed me color samples of which to choose. He pointed out the differences in a porous and non-porous floor and it was a no-brainer that the non-porous floor is far superior. He provided a list of references of which I contacted a few and they all gave me rave reviews. The service men came on time and did a beautiful job of refinishing my pitted and stained garage floor. The price was a little higher than I expected, but you pay for what you get. After our harsh winter with all the salt and slush that was brought into the garage from the tires of two cars, the floor can be cleaned with water and a sponge mop to a showroom finish. I highly recommend Ohio Garage Interiors for refinishing any garage floor, no matter what the condition.

I really like the product that the company has. The surface looks great, and it is easy to clean with just a hose and a squeegee. The only downside is that, since the surface is impermeable to water, if there are any slight depressions, water will collect there. The installers came exactly when they were scheduled, and did a great job.

I received an estimate at the end of June - required to pay 50% down to schedule two months out for the service. Floors installed August 26/27 and on Sept 3/4. They provided lots of information and references. The work requires two days - first to clean/etch and put down the coating with the little plastic colored pieces and the next day those are smoothed out and the clear coat put down on top. This business prefers upgrading garages with the flooring, cabinets, etc., they will consider walkout basements. There are strong smells while the coverings are being put down and drying, but they dry fast and you can walk on it the next day. I invested in this work to avoid having to pull out carpet in the case of flooding in the basement. I think it looks great and I'll post before and after pictures - but the walls and baseboards that were removed due to May floods have not yet been installed. That comes next :-)

We built our lovely home 15 yrs. ago, but the builder used our garage floor as a surface to paint windows or whatever for our home and one down the street, leaving a mess on our garage floor. We tried painting it twice to cover the white paint mess, only to find that heat from our cars' tires caused the paint to come off in large flakes and chips, ENDLESSLY!! We've had years of this irritating mess of gray paint chips coming into our house, no matter how hard we tried to wipe our feet and sweep or hose down the garage floor. By chance, our son mentioned that his wife's uncle had his garage done with a better surface than Nature Stone and at a much better price, too. We've heard many negative comments about N.S. and felt their cost was too high for us. After talking with Mindi's uncle, we called Ohio Garage Interiors to find out about their special process and material and to get an estimate. Scott responded quickly and came to our house for a personal inspection and detailed explanation of what OGI could do for us. To my delight, it would start with a complete grinding of the surface, meaning all of the horrible chipping paint and rough surfaces of the floor would be gone forever! HOORAY!!! Scott gave us a folder with info on the complete process, along with several pages of testimonials from their customers. He measured our garage and sent us an e-mail that night or the next day with the estimate. We were happy to go forward with OGI, and my husband (at age 76) somehow found the energy to paint the walls of the garage in anticipation of the new floor -- HOORAY again!! We picked out the surface color we wanted, and it has turned out to be just perfect. The process takes 2 days + another day or two to keep the cars out of the garage for thorough drying of the surface. It is so beautiful and durable, and it motivated me to buy some shelving pieces at Ollie's Discount store for supplies that we had previously stored on a rusty metal unit or on the floor. Tom and Jacob worked as a great team on the first day as they did the messy grinding, followed by a coating of a sealant and the fluttering of the mixture of black, white and gray vinyl flakes for the color we had chosen. They even did a very thorough job of covering the steps to our house from the garage. What a pleasure to have these guys here -- they work hard and take pride in what they do! Next day, Scott's son Chad showed up bright and early and did the finesse work to make everything perfect before carefully applying the top coat of material. It was interesting to watch these three guys do their work, like a well-rehearsed "ballet" of sorts, to bring it all together! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! I neglected to mention an important part of Chad's work: His top coat included a sprinkling of a material to make it non-slippery, and NO, it wasn't sand or silica. I can't recall exactly what it was, but I do know it had aluminum in the name. A week or so after we began parking in the garage again, I decided to wash my car in the driveway. My sneakers got soaked, and I made many trips through the garage for towels, etc. I walked gingerly but had no signs or hints of a slip on this great surface. CAN YOU TELL HOW MUCH I LOVE MY NEW GARAGE FLOOR??? It's fabulous, and so are the guys who put it all together for us to enjoy. It also will be a "positive" when the day eventually comes that we have to sell our beloved home. As a reminder to all of us who hire contractors and other service people: Give them a bottle of water from your cold refrigerator -- it means a lot to these hardworking people!

They put down the floor first then they came back and add coating on it. They did a great job and showed up when they said they were going to. They did the exact time they say they were going to do it in and they floor is perfect.

Scott and his son were always punctual. Considerate of my time. Completely honest. No hidden charges. No surprises except for the outcome. So much better than I could have ever imagined. My wife and I now have a garage we are proud of. We will use it to entertain over the summer.

Amazing job! From someone who is a total DIY'er, no way did I want to put one of those store-bought kits on my garage floor. The new man-cave looks incredible now and gets lots of compliments. It was a real pleasure to work with Scott and Chad and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone interested in totally transforming their garage.

Ohio Garage Interiors designed and installed cabinets in our garage to give us added storage and beauty. We also had them coat our garage floor (850 sq feet) with their hybrid polymer coating. We selected the flake colors to blend with the cabinets and we could not be more pleased with the outcome! It's absolutely beautiful! All it requires to retain it's beauty is to hose it off with clear water! They worked very efficiently and left everything immaculate. We would highly recommend Ohio Garage Interiors!

From the first time I talked to Scott on the phone to come to the house to give a quote (he was right on time), to final day of installation with Chad, I have been impressed with Ohio Garage Interiors. They are true professionals. When Chad finished installing the garage floor he asked me if we had any paint left we used to do the trim. When we took out the old tile floor some of the trim was scratched up, so Chad went ahead and touched it all back up. This was not his responsibility to do this, but he went above and beyond so it all looks just right. The garage floor looks GREAT !! Love the ten year warranty as well. I have even spoken to one of the neighbors who had them do his garage floor several years back and he had nothing but great things to say about Ohio Garage Interiors. He said his floor looks as good as it did the day it was installed. If you are looking for a local company who stands behind their products and workmanship, Ohio Garage Interiors is a company I would recommend to anyone.

The experience was very good start to finish. The representatives were punctual at all appointments. The estimator (Scott) worked with me on planning, design, and layout. Scott were able to show me exactly what the finished products would look using a computer design program. This allowed us to make changes before actual ordering and installation. Workers were always on time and very professional. I would highly recommend this company.

My expectations were exceeded. Return calls were prompt. Scott and Chad are great guys. The floor looks wonderful.

They were very helpful, professional, friendly, and punctual. Their product was superior. They were very punctual for every appointment, from start to finish. They left the job site thoroughly clean. They explained everything about the product and how to maintain it like new (which is very minimal.) I will definitely recommend them to family and friends.

The experience was fantastic. Scott came out to give me a quote and explain the process in October. Very thorough and informative. Made an appointment for to have the job done for early November. On the scheduled Monday, Chad arrived punctually and began grinding the concrete. He also filled in the spaulled spots and a crack. He followed this with a syrupy paint and the flakes (you pick out the color combination from numerous samples). The next day Chad returned to apply a high gloss top coat with a bit of grit as an anti-slip. I was able to walk on the floor on Wednesday morning and able to put the shelving back in the garage. It was the perfect time to clean out all the junk I'd collected. By Friday morning we were parking the car back in the garage. I cannot adequately write how wonderful the floor looks. I show it off to everyone that comes to the house. Cleaning is a breeze. Hosed out or for really tough stuff, a bucket of water with clear ammonia and a push broom or squeegee. I would highly recommend ProCustom Decorative Garage Floors. The floor looks brand new. Costs more than a Rusteolum do-it-yourself job but you get full, complete prep, an wonderful looking floor and a 10 year warranty.

The durability of the floor stood out to me the most, along with the lifetime warranty. The floor looks great! If I had another garage, I would definitely use them again.

I called the company on July 13th and the owner, Scott Gleske came the very next day with color samples. He explained exactly how the product worked, how it would be applied, and patiently answered all my questions. The work is done over 2 days, and was scheduled to begin August 25. Two workmen arrived right on time and completed the work on day two, as promised. I am extremely pleased with the job and have recommended them to others who have seen and admired my new floors.

They did a really, really wonderful job. One whole end of the garage is cabinets with a workbench. They attached grids for storage. We needed something in there to move stored things from one garage to another, and they were kind enough to do a wonderful job. They were nice people to work with; they were prompt, and they cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
