+ -1 morePete was completing concrete work on our property for a different company with which we had contracted for another project. We asked him if he would be able to fix our driveway as well. Pete completed the other company's job, and fixed our driveway, thoroughly and professionally. It was fascinating to watch him wield his many tools and guide his helpers -- like he was creating works of art! It is obvious that Pete takes great pride in his finished products. We are completely satisfied with all the work that he did. We would hire him again, and refer him to others, without hesitation.
Description of Work: Removed existing 7' X 6' concrete & drain in driveway; hauled away concrete; installed new drain & tie into existing line; installed 4" concrete with stone base & wire reinforcement.

+ -1 moreI couldn't be happier with the work, but we'll have to wait for a hard rain to know that the sealing was effective. Pete was punctual, professional, and left the yard nicer than when he arrived. He kept me informed and had some helpful suggestions about some other issues. If this waterproofing works, Pete saved us several thousand dollars as 2 waterproofing companies wanted to do huge jobs with digging trenches and putting sump pumps in the basement, when we really don't get standing water, just leaking from the ceiling in the well room of the basement. Pete's solution to seal the cap made sense and was more reasonable financially.
Description of Work: This is actually a concrete co., but what he did for us was waterproof the concrete pad that is the top (ceiling ) of our well room. Pete removed shrubs, dug out over the pad, sealed cracks, tarred the pad and parts of the wall, placed a triple layer of thick plastic fabric over the pad and up the sides of the wall, showed me the work, then replaced all the dirt and the shrubs. The owner, Pete, had to leave for a while and instructed his 2 helpers to clear away some branches (courtesy of winds from Ike). I discovered them raking the front yard and taking the debris back to our compost piles. Pete also brought a load of topsoil and graded along another side of the house - did a beautiful job!
