They were very good. They were very prompt. They love attention and everybody had tree work that they needed done and it was very hard to keep up with everybody. I thought that the price was pretty good. I would say that it is a good company. It might take more than one call because they are so busy but they are very good. They came right away at first but haven't been back.

We needed to have several trees trimmed, including six Bradford Pear trees which have very soft wood. The trimming was necessary to prevent damage from winter wind and snow weight. The inspection and quote were received in a timely manner. Since Cartwright was not the low bidder, we chose another provider and we might possibly regret not going with Cartwright.

Excellent company trees look very good and they cleaned up everything perfectly. More expensive than other quotes I received but tjhey way they presented themselves and the work they performed was well worth it.

They were on time and did a wonderful job. I would hire them again!

It went fine. They came when they said they would. They didn't leave any messes. They were prompt, courteous and friendly. The people that owned the house previously had used them as well.

I called them on October 23rd, and I still have not heard back from them.

I was having new landscaping put in and the men noticed there were old stumps where we wanted to do some planting. I called Cartwright up as I saw they were in the neighborhood doing some work for the city of Shaker Heights. They were able to get there in a few days and give me a quote and do the work at the same time which was great as I was really in a pinch. Unbelievable service! Job was done perfectly and all the debris cleaned up and was able to do this on a day's notice for a reasonable price! Will definitely use again!

They were pretty good, but I've called since to have them come out and he never showed. Cartwright was cheaper than competitors by about $100. I'm going to try to get them to come back out again but also get some other ones to compare.

John responded within a couple hours of my call and set up a time to come out and give me an estimate (within a couple days) and did the work within a week. He was prompt, had several workers with him, and they accomplished everything in a very short time. They were very neat, protecting my other shrubs and flowers, and cleaned up everything. John ended up charging me even a little less than he had quoted.

Wanted very large white oak tree cut down because large branches were falling off and I thought it was dying. Ralph confirmed what other contractors said, the tree was healthy and all it needed was to prune out the dead wood. The dead wood falling is a natural shedding process. I object to providing the quote because of the subjectivity of the job based on varying factors unique to each tree and situations. Quotes obtained from 2 other companies. The contractor who landed the job was based on cost only since all three companies would have been a good choice. I am sure the lowest quote was based on the fact that I am a current seasonal customer for other lawn and tree services by that same company.

The men arrived on time and assessed the logistics and the safety measures because the trees were very close to my residence. Since one of the trees was so close to the house and inaccessible, it was necessary to use a special device to bring down the treet in incremental sections. There was no damage and the cleanup was meticulous. This is an amazing organization.

Five trees were contracted to be trimmed and shaped. Four were done on initial visit. Upon notification of the fifth tree not being trimmed, the Cartwright tree service immediately contacted me. Arrangements were made to get the last tree trimmed and shaped. The work was completed and completed to my satisfaction. The company was very quick to respond to my problem.

Dale gave us a quote & was very friendly & talkative. The day the work was done, he was there. The worker in the bucket worked hard, but when it came to completing the trimming & dead wooding of the Large Pin Oak, he slacked off. I told him I could see a lot of deadwood up in the tree and that he only trimmed a few lower branches. Dale told me the worker in the bucket was in a hurry to meet with his parole officer by 2:00, so Dale assured me they would be back within a couple of days to finish the Pin Oak. The very next morning, Dale was back with jailbird as he called him, (not very professional). They did a good job finishing the Pin Oak. One complaint would be that I think dead wooding the 3 maples was a waste of money. Not much was done for $200. They did a fair job of cleaning up afterwards. We have a stone driveway and ivy beds, so I wished they would have put a tarp down. They cleaned up most of the saw dust from the patio, but left a lot by the back door to track inside.

When I called company, they came out the same day to give me an estimate. They said they would be back out in about a week. Exactly one week later, they were there trimming the tree. Very polite. Would recommend and use again.

We had 4 estimates for this job. John from Cartwright's original quote was $950. We were planning on using another company with a lower quote. However, Cartwrights was removing trees from our neighbor's yard. When I asked John if he would match the other company's quote, he agreed, since they were already there. Trees were cut into 18'' logs and piled in yard. The only debris left were the piles of shavings from grinding the stumps.

They were excellent! They arrived on time, and they were very courteous and professional. They brought a crane and a large truck and had a crew of about 5 men. They had the tree down, stump was grounded, and they completely cleaned up the yard in just a few hours. They did a great job, and I highly recommend them. Plus, their price was definitely under most of the other Angie's List ''A'' group. Don't hesitate to call this company!

Job well done! We have used Cartwright Tree several times. They are always professional and very good at cleaning up any mess, as far as chips created or sawdust. Always on time. Price is right.
