Affordable Floors by Tom

Tomas restored my oak floors in my living room and hallway in June 2024. All I can say is that he did an amazing job on restoring my living room floors that were badly damaged and worn from my handicapped spouse's wheelchair. The finish was completely removed in many areas and we had some water damage that I thought for sure couldn't be restored. But he did it. He quoted 3 days and was finished in 3 days. My floors are absolutely beautiful. I never thought it possible. The only thing I would mention here, is about the finish after restoration. If you want a high shine on your floors, do not choose a satin finish as it has no gloss at all. I can live with the finish but next time I have them refinished, I will remember to choose a gloss finish. Still, I love my floors. Thank you Tomas for a job well done!

Tamas did a great and a very detailed job. I called him because the company that had come to my house and sent me a quote for a reasonable price never returned my emails or voicemails or anything. I had also gotten a quote from the Home Depot (double the price that Tamas quoted me) and they also didn't return my requests. I had 300 sq. ft. that needed to be done, and I provided the material. I talked to Tamas on the phone and explained to him that I'm active duty enlisted military and had orders to Cleveland from Washington, D.C. and bought an out-dated 70's house online (sight unseen) and that I'm just trying to get the final flooring finished. He said he was booked until the end of July....but he fit me into his schedule and came three separate days and got it done. Early morning or late at night...he made accommodations for my family so that we could get the flooring finished. I've got three kids under the age of five and they loved "Mr. Tamas." He was very kind and honest and I would definitely recommend his company to anyone in the area.

Great. Even though it was a small project, he treated it like it was a big one. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and diligent. He even came to finish sealing it at 10pm!

Tom was quick and gave good advice. Floor looks good. Wish I had also let him install the baseboards as he recommended.

Tamas's workmanship was excellent. He installed the floor with much attention to detail. Completed the installation and cleaned up completely after he was finished. I would recommend him to anyone needing that service.

Tamas did an outstanding job on my new floors. He installed laminate flooring, quarter-round and several transitions pieces in my living room, hallway and closets. He was very professional and kind. I wasn't sure what materials to get and he provided me with website links and options to make sure I felt comfortable picking up the correct materials. Tom was everything I could have hoped for, and more. I had a new laminate wood floor installed at my house a few years ago, and he did a splendid job at every level. He ripped out the carpet, and was very precise with the measurements for the floor. On top of that, He was on-time, courteous, and always took the time to answer any questions I had. And the finished product was absolutly beautiful! I would highly recommend Tom for any household project. 5 out of 5 stars!

Did a great job. Explained what was necessary to do to accomplish what I wanted done. He was prompt, efficient and quickly finished the job along with being very accommodating to any changes to the job.
