We had one maple tree that was rotting and could possibly fall on our rental property shed across from our house. The woodpeckers pretty much made Swiss cheese out of it so we wanted it taken down before it caused property damage. We also had a maple at the corner of our house that started rotting at the base and up the tree. It was a double trunk tree (V-shaped) and quite large. Hated to see it go since it was a nice shade tree but if it fell, it would bring down our power lines. I called Sean and he came out for an estimate on 6/10/13. He said he would be able to do the work on Saturday 6/15/13 if we wanted it done right away. We decided to go ahead and do it sooner than later. Sean called us the Friday before with a time estimate as to when they would come. They showed up as scheduled. The tree removal went smoothly and as discussed. They brought down both trees, cut the stumps as close to the ground as possible, cut up the small branches and chipped them, and raked up the leaves. My husband wanted the chipped material for gardening, so they piled it in a spot where my husband asked them to. They left the trunks as we asked, for my husband to cut up for firewood. The crew was quick, professional and polite. I asked for an additional business card for my sister and our renter asked for one for his friend as well. I've used them before and would use them again.
Description of Work: Cut down 2 maple trees. Cleaned up branches and leaves. Chipped smaller branches.

He is very friendly and usually returns calls very quickly. He is comes out right away and is very pleasant. He showed me how to trim my trees and when to do it so it would be safe for the tree, which I appreciated. The price didn't seem too bad, but I didn't contact anyone else to compare. We will continue to use him as along as he's in the area.
Description of Work: Northern Exposure Tree Service removed a tree, stump and debris. He also trimmed a couple of our other trees.
