I was in the market for a better vacuum. I had bought quite a few over the years, sometimes a significant investment, that broke or did not work as well as they did when I bought them. I wasted a lot of time so I did my homework this time online. I noticed online that the top rated vacuums I found were all sponsors of those particular websites, so that did not help. The answer to the best vacuum to buy was whatever that website and its ?selected? reviews said. I realized that the internet was not the best place to make a decision. I went to the big box stores to get a better idea and get competitive prices since that was where I bought them. The problem was I was now getting advice from someone who was working in the vacuum section, who might be in the paint department the next day, so I was a little hesitant on their ?expert? opinion. Had they ever tried the other vacuums that they sell? I am a researcher and I thought it was a good idea to get a third opinion. That is when I visited Tom and his expert staff at Stow's Forrest Vacuum. They were extremely helpful in helping me find the right vacuum and within my budget. I have multiple pets and I know that pet hair can be a serious challenge for some vacuums and is one of the reasons why they can break so fast. I am proud to say that I still have my vacuum from 5 years ago and it works flawlessly so it was a sound investment and a great value to me. When I do need a part or accessory, they take care of it quickly and for a reasonable price.
