+ -1 moreSteve was very easy to work with. He was extremely flexible scheduling my inspection. He encouraged me to be at the inspection to explain any findings and provide me the opportunity to ask questions. He seemed very thorough and took his time. I consider myself knowledgeable about houses and there mechanical and electrical systems. However I still learned a number of things from Steve. He provided a professional, detailed and thorough inspection report that included a number of photos. I was pleased with his work and plan to use Steve again in the future.

+ -1 moreIn a word, fantastic! Steve was very easy to talk with, and explained things in terms I could understand... High degree of professionalism and respect... Treated our house as if it were his own... (of course, I now have a large 'Honey-do' list ahead of me...)
Description of Work: Made the clal to Spectrum, and Steve was able to come out on the 31st. He spent about 4 hours goin around the house, outside and inside, using his infrared camera. He took infrared and 'regular' pictures... more on this later... Part of the testing was the ' blower door', like you get in a 'home energy audit'... unlike the home energy audits, in which someone walks around with the 'smoker' to show drafts, we were able to go from room to room, and the camera showed us the air leaks... In addition, we had an upstairs heat vent and we couldn't find how the ducts came up from the basement... The infrared showed us the exact location and direction of the duct, even through hardwood floors that were carpeted over. The contents of the report were extensive, and included the side-by-side infrared and 'regular' pics (referred to above)... in color.

+ 1 more'Mr. Parton arrived on time and did thorough job of investigating the in's and out's of our home's environment. He was here for 3 hours, and described his work as he went along.
Description of Work: Steve Parton studied our home testing for air leakage (too much & too little), infrared study of the house, air quality in the house, found places where there is extreme air transfer - in and out. A more concise description: building diagnostics, energy efficiency assessments, thermography.
