Six years of exellent work.

Although we didn't end up using Chip and his crew for this project (we ended up doing some of the work ourselves), he was as usual on time, professional, and very easy to work with. We have other projects in mind and will continue to keep Green & White on the top of our list.

They are nice and conscientious. They are a little more expensive but they are worth it. They are customer oriented and they are nice people. They do the job.

Chip came out to give an estimate. We gave him a very general idea of what we wanted. Chip was very friendly, professional, and easy to work with. He asked us questions on what we liked and made some very good suggestions. He sketched out a plan on-site-which was very helpful for us to ask questions and make changes right away. Chip has a good imagination for design and we really liked what he came up with. He suggested different plants and later emailed us pictures so we could get a better idea of what we liked. When the original estimate was a little more than we wanted to spend, he worked with us to make minor changes to reduce the cost. The work was done about 2-weeks later (this was at the end of summer, so we luckily didn't have long to wait). It was completed within a day. The results were terrific and it really transformed a bare ugly area into a showplace (see before and after photos). Chip is very enthusiastic person and it definitely shows up in his results. I plan on using him again on some other projects.

Overall we were pleased. I feel like they were attentive and they got back to us when they said they would. I think the quality of the flowers they used were disappointing because they didn't make it through the summer.

They were very courteous, business like and very prompt. I was very pleased with them.

Chip returned my call he sounded courteous and professional. We arraigned to meet at my house in the early evening so he could survey the work to be done and put together an estimate. I left work early to get there in time to meet him. Chip never arrived. I have not heard from him since.

They gave us an estimate of $4,505-$4,655. It turned out that the ground was uneven and it still is. There was a number of bare spots and we asked them to fill them in and they may have filled in some and claimed that the rest would fill in itself in time. The fill-in topsoil, they brought in, had rocks and broken glass in it. This was in April 2007. We still have an uneven and weedy lawn. They said that this Fall they will spread more topsoil and seed at no cost to us.

Overall, I would say this was an excellent job. Some things changed as the landscaping went on, but Chip and his crew were more than receptive to the changes. They were constantly concerned about the quality of their work and how the project would be viewed when completed. I would say if you are having a land or hardscape project done by all means get 2 or 3 estimates, BUT make sure one of those estimates is from Green & White Outdoors. I would highly recommend Chip and his crew (Tony, Bill, Rio, Pat, Scott, etc.) to do any kind of outdoor improvements to your home. They are ethical, quality driven and creative! I myself have handled many projects in terms of my past career and I can greatly appreciate the planning, focus and overall organization that Chip gives to his customers' projects. In fact, they have been back twice to check on the job and to fill in some low and bare spots. I look forward to having the them do more work for me in the future.

I chose them because they were really responsive and answered all my of my questions. They did a good job and were good with communicating with me. They even e-mailed me. It was easy to this company. I was glad that they go to Portage County.

I was very pleased with them. I use them for everything to do with landscaping now. Whenever I have a question I call them and the help me out.

I used Chip last summer for a different job and his work is high quality, so I called him again. He responded right away and started the job as soon as weather permitted. The job was completed on time and within the cost estimate he provided up front. I challenged him on some of the labor cost, and he responded with a detailed explanation for all costs. This guy is very concerned about delivering a quality product and we'll use him again. Price is somewhat high but they are not a crew of low-skill summer laborers.

Chip and crew were very professional, timely and work was completed promptly. Knowledgeable and helpful. Project completed as promised.

Chip McClintock and Green and White Landscaping are very professional and knowledgeable. Chip responded to our phone calls immediately. We spoke to several other companies, and we believe that Chip was the only one to address the problem correctly. Green and White built a very sturdy and attractive retaining wall, and our drainage problems are solved. The men were very friendly and took great pride in their work. I would like to hire Chip and Green and White again for our more enjoyable landscaping projects.

I CONTACTED CHIP ON A MONDAY AND HE AND HIS CREW WERE ABLE TO START WORK 2 DAYS LATER AND FINISH THE FOLLOWING DAY. CHIP'S QUICK RESPONSE AND HARD WORK WAS INVALUABLE TO ME SINCE IT WAS DECEMBER 6TH, BAD WEATHER AND SNOW WAS EMINENT, AND I HAD DECIDED THAT IT WOULD BE A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY TO WAIT UNTIL SPRING TO TRY TO ''REPAIR'' ALL OF THE DAMAGE DONE TO MY LAWN (OR WHAT WAS LEFT OF IT) BY 3 IRISH SETTERS RUNNING FROM TREE TO TREE IN MY 10,000 SQ FT BACKYARD. CHIP AND I AGREED THAT COVERING THE PROBLEM DRAINAGE AREA WITH RIVER ROCK AND THE MOST TRAVELED AREAS (WHERE THE GRASS WAS ALMOST COMPLETELY GONE) WITH MULCH MADE MORE SENSE THAN TO KEEP TRYING TO GROW GRASS AND THEN WATCH IT GET TORN UP BY THE DOGS A FEW DAYS LATER. CHIP AND HIS CREW DID A GREAT JOB CREATING A MUD-FREE AREA THAT'S PLEASANT TO LOOK AT AND SAFE FOR MY DOGS TO RUN AROUND IN. I LOVED WORKING WITH CHIP! HE WAS ON TIME, AS WELL AS HIS WORKERS, RETURNED MY PHONE CALLS AND KEPT AN OPEN COMMUNICATION LINE WITH ME. HE HAD WONDERFUL IDEAS FOR MY PATIO AREA AND LANDSCAPING. HE WAS WILLING TO USE OLDER TREES THAT OTHER LANDSCAPERS WANTED TO SCRAP. (HE MADE THOSE SHABBY TREES LOOK GREAT). HE WAS AWARE OF OUR PRIORITIES AND BUDGET AND DID WHAT WAS NEEDED TO STAY WITHIN IT. MY HUSBAND IS PARTICULAR AND CHIP WORKED GREAT WITH HIM TOO. I WILL USE HIM AGAIN WHEN I'M READY TO DO THE NEXT PHASE OF OUR LAWN. CHIP WAS WORTH THE PHONE CALL.

VERY SUCCESSFUL AND THE WATER IS GONE. CHIP IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN HIS FIELD, BUT ALSO RECOGNIZES THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING A PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT GROUP. ALL HIS WORKERS ARE TOP NOTCH AND KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING. G & W DOES NOT RUSH THE JOB JUST TO GET TO THE NEXT SITE. THEY WILL BE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THAT EVERYTHING IS IN ORDER BEFORE LEAVING.
