Simply put, Beautiful Basements did an incredible job with transforming our vision into a reality! It all started with our initial consultation with Dan. When he presented us with a first draft of the layout, it was clear he listened to our ideas, wants, and needs. We were impressed with the level of detail he provided, including accurate blueprints, an organized and thorough bill of materials that would be used for the project, and a full cost breakdown. We greatly appreciated this transparent approach. Our project team - Jensen (our awesome project leader), Jonny, Devin, Kris, and Fred - were a great crew to complete the project. They were always willing to answer any questions we had, and always encouraged us to walk through to see how progress was coming along. They were very respectful of the working environment, being sure to clean up after each day on the project. Outside of the high level of workmanship they demonstrated during the project, they also brought the perfect blend of professional yet personable attitudes each day. It was awesome to get to know such a great team throughout the few months we worked with them. There were a number of interior design choices that felt overwhelming (e.g., flooring options, paint color themes, finishes & fixtures), but Ashley made the process painless! She was amazing to work with, and consistently went the extra mile to bring additional options to us, provide recommendations where needed, and stay in constant communication with us. The design work and overall aesthetic brought an already amazing project to the next level and furthered the â wowâ factor. Overall, we were extremely impressed with the entire team at Beautiful Basements. From bringing our vision to life through an amazing and top-quality basement product, to keeping us informed of key milestones and always being available to answer questions, it was an amazing experience working with Beautiful Basements. Beautiful Basements is a good company to work with. You know all of your cost up front with no surprises. Comparable and better prices than others. Dan responds quickly and stays in communication throughout. Everyone who worked in our house was friendly and skilled. Fred, Devin, Jensen, and Jonny did excellent work and we enjoyed having them in the house. Ashley was helpful with choosing colors and styles. The work was done in the promised time frame, which was not something we had experienced with other contractors. Fred and Jonny even came back and helped with the unexpected problem of getting our couch to fit through the door by taking off the trim. Overall, a good experience and we are happy with the result.

Dan was one of several contractors that came to look at our basement. He was very professional and knowledgeable and my husband and I liked him immediately. His quote was very detailed and with it he provided proof that he was licensed, bonded and insured. I am not sure how Dan would have described our basement that day, but in my opinion it was a pit, a challenging pit. My husband had completely demolished the finished side-ceiling, walls, fireplace bricks and ripped up the carpet. Our home is old, so the foundation is clay tiles and we have knob and tube wiring. In addition our home has a center chimney, which sunk sometime after construction, 80 years ago. All floors slope toward the chimney and in the basement it is impossible to make the ceiling level. Despite all this, Don, Fred and Jonny turned our pit into a beautiful, functional living space. We have new windows and walls, a lovely plank ceiling, improved lighting, a door to the utility side that actually closes and a fabulous tile job (thanks Don), that makes the fireplace a focal point. During the entire process communication was excellent. Work had to be stopped several times due to other work that needed to be done in the basement, and Dan could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend Beautiful Basements. You will not be disappointed.

I am truly thankful that I met Dan and chose his company to finish our basement. When I first met Dan, he was so professional and genuine. His quote was so detailed and transparent. The whole process was smooth and his whole team was amazing- Ashley, Fred and Don. They were also the most reasonably priced among the other 4 companies that we reached out to for quotes. We love our basement, and we highly recommend their team!

Wow! We love our new basement space! Beautiful Basements did an amazing job for us. Itâ s hard to find words to describe how pleased we are with the job they did for us. Included was a beautiful new full bathroom and new higher windows to improve the view to the outside and to let in more light. It doesnâ t feel like a basement anymore, but like another living room. The guys doing the work quickly became our friends. They arrived punctually every day during the construction period and were very diligent. They made sure they were doing everything exactly as we wanted. Every afternoon when they left they cleaned up meticulously. A continuous timeline of work was adhered to. Plumbers, electricians and inspectors all showed up promptly, so there were no wasted days. Everything was as Dan had promised us, only better. Dan and Ashley stopped over frequently to make sure we were pleased and satisfied. Ashley helped us so much in picking out our flooring, paint and bathroom fixtures. Without her it would have been a tough task, but thanks to her advice and suggestions, the process was very easy and enjoyable. The cost was lower or at least in line with other quotes we obtained, but I doubt we could have gotten the same quality from anybody but Beautiful Basements. I highly recommend this company.

We had our basement finished over a year and a half ago by Beautiful Basements and have had absolutely no complaints since. Dan was great at communicating from the very beginning, patiently answering all of our questions and giving us as much information as possible in an organized manner, from material specs to cost breakdown. He was honest and straightforward and didn't try to oversell. If we had any concerns during the project, he was quick to take care of them. His crew was kind to my family and very professional. Because we were on more of a budget, we chose to have the unfinished ceiling spray painted, and many people have commented on how cool it looks. The crew also really paid attention to detail with finishing touches. I meant to write this review a long time ago, but in a way I'm glad I'm writing it now because I can attest to the fact that everything is still great long after the fact! :)

We were extremely impressed at the quality of our finished basement and the level of professionalism displayed by the entire crew at beautiful basements. They were extremely accommodating if we needed any last-minute changes made and always took the time to explain all the steps in the process, so we knew what to expect. They were very respectful of our home, and always took the time to clean up the work area afterwards. We were happy we chose beautiful basements and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to finish their basements. Shout out to Don who was very willing to go the extra mile to ensure we were pleased with his work and always asked us if there was anything else he could do to ensure we were pleased with the final product.

Dan and his team were very professional and knowledgeable about the work. The planning and estimation process was very transparent. No hidden costs or surprises. All work is done legally with a professional contractor for plumbing and electrical work. Different options and recommendations are shared through out the project work. Crew was very polite, respectable and professional. They made sure no unnecessary noise was created and kept the house & working area clean. They would clean up after the work. I will recommend Beautiful Basements for any remodeling work and especially for the basement remodeling.

We love our basement !!!!! Everyone that came in was super professional. We had almost our entire basement finished, leaving a few areas for storage and a gym. The attention to detail was awesome and everyone they brought in including the electrician and plumber, we were so impressed with. It turned out way better than we could have imagined we would recommend this company to anyone!

They did a wonderful job on our old unfinished basement. We added a bathroom and a finished area which is used as a fitness room. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. What makes them a top notch company, however, is what happened after the job was complete. There was an issue with our old house. We spung a leak in an area of the basement that never had water in the past. If caused a little damage in the newly finished area. They did not hesitate to stop what they were doing, and rushed over to assess the situation and come up with a solution quickly. They not only repaired the damage, but took extra steps to insure that the problem wouldn't return. This was time and money over and above the original quote, but they handled everything at no extra cost to us! This is something you don't find in today's world. We are so thankful and grateful for having them do our basement remodel!!! Don't look anywhere else if you are looking for a basement remodel. Top quality from the people to the materials that they use! Thank you Dan, and the crew (Mark and Fred) for an awesome job!!!

The team was consistently punctual, knowledgable, neat, professional yet fun. Beautiful Basements made home improvements and home construction beautiful not stressful!

I can't thank you and your team enough for the gorgeous basement we now get to live in. Not that I had low expectations, but whatever I had was truly blown away by the combination of craftsmanship, responsiveness, attention to detail, and willingness to adjust to our input along the way, including the final inspections. Throughout the process, your communication has been absolutely amazing and a major source of my confidence that the job would be done right even if there were questions. I really appreciated your prompt, thoughtful and complete responses to my (numerous) e-mails and texts. At all times, I felt like I knew what to expect and where we were with respect to the overall plan. As for your team, though many contributed, Fred and Don were phenomenal. Fred coordinated the crews on the extremely busy days and helped nearly eliminate the creaky, shoddy steps we inherited. And I can't say enough about Don's complete professionalism on the final processes and touch-ups. He was there from 8am to past 5pm this week, going way above and beyond on responses to probably 50+ sticky notes and never once complaining or trying to push us to accept anything less than what we wanted. That is exceedingly rare from what I've found, so please pass on my sincerest thanks. He even volunteered to help me move our furniture into the final spots before leaving without me asking. I don't know what else to say, but you need to make sure you keep him in your crew. He will earn you referrals and return business for years to come! My wife and I had the chance to relax for just a little in our new basement last night, and whatever the opposite of "buyer's remorse" is, that's what I experienced. I don't think I've ever been so satisfied with a project like this in my life. I can't tell you how many times I said "I love this basement." This is where our family, and especially our kids, will be spending most of their time for their formative years, so THANK YOU to you and your crew!

Speechless! Dan and the entire team at Beautiful Basements surpassed every expectation we had for not only finishing our basement, but what we expected in dealing with contractors overall! We cannot recommend them enough. From creative design, addressing changes decided along the way, the crew daily, the final project completion, etc. Everything was fantastic. Additionally, the crew and subcontractors we dealt with daily in our home were top notch. Courteous, clean, professional and pleasant not only for me but my entire family! Dan's plans were spot on. He truly maximized the space and had brilliant design ideas to highlight the various rooms they created in the basement. We settled on two hidden storage rooms, a bathroom, a very large TV/hangout area, bar area and a fully enclosed gorgeous home gym. The entire way Dan showed us exactly what he could do in the space...even ensuring that a wine storage area could be added later by designing the space to be hidden and later opened up for building that when we decide. We are just over the moon happy with how it all turned out and every single person who has seen it has been blown away!
