They've gotten all of the work done except for the tree trimming. For the work that was done, I was mostly satisfied, but the rest of it is where the problems come in. They overcharged us - they quoted the price at $575, wrote the contract at our house, and then charged us $683 without any itemization or explanation of the additional charge. I went ahead and wrote the check even though all the work wasn't completed. Since then, I've called them many times and they now will not even answer or return my calls. I've been trying to find out when they plan on finishing the tree trimming and I want them to bring back a sign of ours they had taken. The few times I did talk to the owner when I first started calling, he always had an excuse for why he couldn't come out. In regards to the sign they took, I specifically asked them not to remove the sign from our property. When they were removing the ivy, they came across the sign I asked them not to take and took it with them, most likely throwing it away. He's said he'd have one of his guys drop it off but they never have and now they won't even take my calls.
