+ -1 morePrice quoted and service provided went above and beyond minimum required for basic install. I am an Adams customer from this point forward. Price for High Efficiency Rheem gas furnace was lower with no discounts that another HVAC quoted price for a low efficiency unit without all the work to identify and correct air flow issue. He'll do you right!
Description of Work: Replaced Gas Furnace with High Efficiency Gas furnace. Also identified and corrected restricted air return problem that had been affecting second floor for a very long time and installed humidifier feeder valve in hard water line vs. soft water line it was in (eating up Humidifier pads like crazy). Resized (built new) plenum to correct air return problem.

+ -1 moreUsed Kenny Adams several times without issue. One day had a heat pump stop running. The owner did the service call and said it was fried. Quoted 10k to replace it plus the furnace. Pushed for this as it was an older unit. I held off as I was a skeptic. Called another hvac contractor who diagnosed it as a defective $100 part. They said even a rookie would have seen it. $250 total to repair it. That was 2 years ago and still working fine. Lying to my face to get the sale is unbelievable. This owner definitely skipped ethics in school.

Description of Work: The equipment installed is top notch and Mr. Adams himself seems very knowledgeable, however, his right- hand man still has a lot to learn. The initial install ( done by his assistant) went smoothly but there was a miscalculation when creating a pocket in the ductwork for the air filter so no air filter on the market fit the opening. It took some time to get this corrected. We were then a little unhappy about the quality of the correction. The caulking was very sloppy, but calls about that we're never returned. Ultimately, we got what we wanted at a reasonable price but looking back I wish I would had chosen another company. They are NOT good about returning phone calls.

Description of Work: Would not return calls or emailed messages left for service over a 2 week period. Gave up after 3 times.
